Bicycle Cafe in Uttlesford

This has to be the best cafe (apart from Pav's stand in Bishop's Stortford) in the area. The quiche is to die for best I have ever eaten and all Pav's baked fare is so delicious. The cafe is quirky, food and drink amazing and service outstanding.

I have changed my dog walking route so I have coffee here at Pav’s. The coffee is lovely oh but the cakes!!! I have to have strong will power not to have a slice of freshly baked cake and my resistance is low when I smell the cinnamon buns. Delicious

Pav is friendly, the coffee great, and an exceptional baker. Both sweet and savoury foods are delicious. Small and well worth a visit.

We visit Pav every week. Always take our dog with us as the cafe is very dog friendly. Always made to feel very welcome and Pav enjoys telling us about all the baking he has been doing since he opened for the day. His cakes are amazingly good. All freshly baked on site. He also makes pizza savoury muffins and quiches as a lunch option. Open Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Without doubt the best coffee in town. Go and try it with a slice of Victoria Sandwich. You won’t be disappointed

What a great café. Pawel is so welcoming. The smell of home cooking sets your mouth watering as soon as you enter. The home made cakes were delicious as was the Home made pizza. Thankyou Pav

I really like visiting this cafe, the coffee is rich and delicious and the pastries are freshly baked. He is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at the moment, it's really cosy and friendly and you can sit there with your laptop if you like

When I visited (18/10/22) this cafe had only been open for a few weeks. It is owned and run by Pavel Sokal (Pav), well-known to Bishop's Stortford residents for his excellent coffee and cakes served in Sworder's Field. This is a small cafe that is scrupulously clean with a bright and friendly atmosphere. Pav makes his cakes and pastries on-site and they are always fresh and delicious. Its location is a little out of town but it's definitely worth making a special trip for if, like me, you appreciate really good coffee and cake - who doesn't? Go there soon and support this excellent small business.
