Absolutely incredible pizza, best I have had in many a year. Ordered online for collection and it was right on time despite being a busy Saturday. Food was incredible. Will be back soon

I happened upon this amazing pizza restaurant when visiting my dad at wishaw hospital. I promised the old man a pizza so gave this a try. Proper stone baked Italian pizza with a substantial menu available. I went back this week with my wife but we were an hour early for the place opening. Despite this the staff allowed us in as the pizza oven was good to go. Brilliant service. Parma ham pizza was outstanding and my wife had the diavalo which looked awesome. I can't wait for my next visit.

One of the best pizzas Ive ever had and probable the best base. I’m proper fussy when it comes to my pizza, it has to be done right, the Italian way and it sure was Custom made and ready in 3 mins using the best Italian ingredients. The staff were super welcoming and friendly too. I live in Cumbernauld and I WILL travel for this pizza and I’ll be getting desert next time too

Fantastic tasty pizza. Can honestly say the best I’ve tasted in a long while. The staff were very friendly and I would certainly recommend the pizza - if you like Paesano, you won’t be disappointed. Next time I’ll definitely be trying the cheesecake…..

Exceptionally good, authentic pizza from this newly opened restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is a cut above, from the use of delicious fior de latte to the spicy spinata salami. PROPER pizza! Pasta dishes & salads are also excellent & the staff are lovely. Delighted this place has opened in our area, although it will not be good for my waistline!

EDIT: The owner, Ben, reached out to me regarding my review below (on the same evening too, which I thought was impressive!). He was very apologetic which I deeply appreciated. While my opinion of the food being just 'fine' remains, I must say that the hospitality shown here is practically second to none. Certainly had the portion sizes been halved, I would have had a better experience here. Should I return to Birmingham in the future, Tropea will definitely be on my radar! The food was fine, but not worth the price. Also, 3 dishes would have been more than enough for one person (I was recommended 5).

197A Hagley Road Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 9RD EnglandFabulous food, friendly attentive staff, relaxed setting. My husband is Italian and we spend A lot of time eating great Italian food in Italy. Hard to find good Italian food in the UK but fogo was excellent. We were two families of 4 and all 8 dishes were first class. We will be back!!!! Grazie mille!!!!
