Awful awful milkshakes. Made with milk and not ice cream so extremely watery. Reason for review is they are priced like the usual dessert parlour style milkshakes

Food was excellent and waiter was brilliant

I have ordered food from them roti and naan was good but their nihari was pathetic one piece in there which was no bone.

Had a nice meal at Rajput Clove. Lamb chops were amazing. The food was served promptly and the place is clean, well managed.

Went out with our old cricket buddies .Had the platter mix grill ,followed by the butt chicken and lamb.With copious amounts of delicious cold smoothie mango lassi.Overall food was good

Good variety of East and West menu items, well prepared with generous helpings. We had a mixed platter, chicken burger, tarkha Dall, lamb karai, achari chicken both and a fantastic mango lassi with a few complimentary items. Atmosphere good and staff very friendly. We'll be back!

Just Booked a Eid family party tonight, food was absolutely amazing compliments to Haji Javed (famous chef from Tipu Sultan) as it was our 1st time booking at Rajput Clove. His personal service to our family was 5 star his food was amazing starters mains and definitely recommend the gajar halwa for dessert. Service staff was on point no waiting for food and served hot for 70 guests. with any food left over was packed in containers provided. Price and Quality of food was worth it and the family enjoyed it too.

Great little spot. Came for breakfast, 7 people total. Food was delicious, all happy.

It was quite nice . Food was quite good . Good portion size for price. Staff was attentive and polite. Initially it as quiet but picked up after a bit. Atmosphere was good, not too loud or busy. Could hold a conversation without being loud, definitely would go again!

We attended for breakfast as a large family. The food was fresh, hot, good portion sizes, and reasonably priced. The taste was authentic, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. This is a local restaurant to me, and I shall certainly be returning. A must try! Thank you

Had the opportunity to eat from here a few times, so I feel I'm in a good place to judge. Hopefully the owners can read this and improve where necessary -------------------------------------------------------------- SERVICE & ATMOSHPHERE (5/5) - The two ladies who greeted us were very polite and welcoming, and tended to our needs throughout the evening. The tables were clean, chairs comfortable, and the overall ambience was pleasant (music not too loud, etc). CHICKEN CURRY BONELESS (4/5) - No complaints on this. It was nice and would eat again as a safe option LAMB NIHARI (5/5) - First time I've ever tried a lamb nihari, so I'm not in a place to judge in comparison to others. But I did really enjoy this. The meat was so tasty and tender. Would definitely get again NAAN (1/5) - These aren't tandoor naans. Not sure if they're made in a machine or just placed in a round plate in a standard oven. Or if they're even freshly made? I don't know. But they were small, dry and not very tasty. NAAN KEEMA (1/5) - Suffer from the same fate as the above SAMOSA CHAAT (5/5) - Very good. I'm not even a fan of samasa chaat, but this was actually quite nice. MIXED GRILL PLATTER #3 - Felt I had to break these down into their individual items. If the owners are reading this, you really need to review your chicken items below because they were terrible. 1. Lamb seekh (4/5) - These were decent 2. Chicken seekh (0/5) - Awful. Tasteless. Ended up throwing them away as their smell and taste was off. 3. Chicken tikka (2/5) - Big and tender, but there was no flavour to them. Very bland. Could only be eaten with sauce 4. Chicken wings (1/5) - Again, very bland. No taste or flavour to them whatsoever. 5. Fish pokora (4/5) - These were decent 6. Lamb chops (2/5) - These aren't lamb chops. They're mutton chops - as evident by their high fat content and very chewy texture which you have to keep spitting out ------------------------------------------------------ Their 3/5 total mark is mainly due to inconsistency. Very polite, welcoming atmosphere which you can take your family to, but some of the food can range from being very good, down to being very bad. Hopefully they can address some of the items - which, honestly speaking, have no excuse for being as bland/tasteless as they are. I would suggest they research/trial until they get it right. Because they do have the potential to be a very good restaurant if they care and are willing to improve.

Best curry I’ve had in Birmingham - and I’ve tried many! The Chef here definitely knows his curry’s, he has years of experience behind him and you can taste this in his dishes. Had the achari chicken with roti and one of their platters. The roast chicken and Chapli kebab, absolutely delicious. The achari chicken was made with fresh ingredients and had a rich taste. If you haven’t been yet, visit! Absolute must.

No longer an Italian restaurant, under new management serving south asian cuisine. Very generous portions, tasty curries, grilled food all at a reasonable price too. A bit of welcome competition for the likes of Raja Monkeys and Tarragon. The staff and service are excellent, i would highly recommend.

Amazing halwa puri one could ever have in Birmingham!

Went to this newly established restaurant and wasn't disappointed. The food was on point and delicious 😋. Felt like we were dining in Pakistan and thd ingredients used were so desi. Very happy and impressed, the chef even went out his way to make me maki di roti with saag which wasn't on the menu.

Nestled in the heart of Hall Green, this restaurant offers delectable Asian cuisine, creating an unforgettable dining experience. I don't know where to start....the service has been terrible 😭 we called phone order for pick up and they first of all said they didn't have the chicken leg roast so we asked for Sheesh kebab. They not once told us over the phone that they didn't have the Sheesh kebabs either. They even took my phone number and not once thought to tell me. So I drove all the way down to find out that they didn't have the Sheesh kebabs. No apology, no providing alternate option. It was our first time ever ordering from there and they let us down big time.

£40 order cancelled without any contact or explanation.

Placed a order on uber eats after half hour they cancelled for no reason.

Newly opened restaurant and lots of staff milling about which is a bit off putting. Main waiter and waitress were good. Starters were good as were the curries and plentiful. naan breads not what we're used to, more like a pizza base warmed through. Will try the breakfast one weekend as looked different

We were seated quickly and served with water and entrée. The main courses were delicious: butt chicken karahi, chicken chow mein, lahori chanay. The ambiance was also calming and all-over a great place to dine at.

Best Italian restaurant in Birmingham in my opinion. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are genuinely lovely. The food was EXCEPTIONAL!!

3 of us went to celebrate my birthday, and as it was a Saturday it is advisable to book a table as this small restaurant gets very busy. We had been there under other owners but now Marco is back as the chef. Excellent food as we expected and customer service was great. Some nice touches like giving me a free glass of wine because my meal was delayed. Cannot fault the experience and highly recommend this restaurant. It has street parking outside the premises and looks to have an outside seating area when the weather improves. Disappointed with choice of deserts but that's just a personal opinion. They had veal on the menu and that was a fantastic choice

My wife and I dropped into La Romana this evening after a very busy day. We were greeted by the owner and his staff and shown to a lovely warm table underneath the fan heater. La Romana is our favourite restaurant due to the excellent food and service, and tonight was no exception. My wife had the pizza and I had Gresham duck from the specials board, all excellently cooked by Giovanni in the kitchen. If you love home cooked authentic food this restaurant is for you. The staff are so friendly and make every visit feel like a special occasion.

Excellent singer, we have been 3 x previous occasions La Romana have let the customer experience slip, our guests ordered lasagne with garlic bread, no bread arrived with meal. When requested it came when guests had finished meal. This has been the worst night of our 3 previous visits and resulted in me cancelling a 70th birthday party

This was the best night ever. Saturday night is dj night. We had amazing food , amazing service and a good old dance in the isles. Honestly you have to go. The waitresses were such fun. The owner a bundle of fun. We will be back omg yes we will!!!!!!!

Came with my family on a Sunday night, as we are from Italy we always like to go and try new Italian restaurants. Lets just say that we will not go back again. The pizza can not be even called pizza, the dough is like a flat bread or something similar but it's not a pizza dough, then we got the antipasti which was OK, poor quality meats and loads of it. Then the calamari was just something else. Sogghy and tasteless, sorry but it was the worst experience we have ever had in an Italian restaurant. By far the worst food I had lately. As we both me and my partner work in hospitality we don't like to leave bad reviews but I hope this will help to improve the quality of the food.

Tried out this place last week as one of our local Italian restaurants. We were greeted by the lovely waitress whom continued to provide excellent customer service throughout our meal. We had a pizza and the chicken special, which were both lovely however the chicken was slightly dry. The homemade cheesecake and brownie we had for dessert were absolutely Devine and overall the meal was reasonably priced. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Booked here with some friends... we will definitely be returning! The food was absolutely delicious and really decent portion sizes, so much so we bought the rest home with us! Dessert was just as good. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
