Peking House Takeaway in Plymouth

The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The portions sizes are generous and everything is cooked and ready to collect in great time. The lady who takes the orders and hands you your takeaway is fantastic! Always so friendly, smiley and genuinely makes you feel like a valued customer :-) Thank you

The team at Pekin House are so lovely. The food is always great value for money, nicely cooked, hot when it turns up and I appreciate the fact the owner listens to me when I try to speak Cantonese, no matter how unpolished it is. :)

We ordered a few things sweetcorn soup,house special rice,beef & broccoli ,crisp chicken, chip and prawn toast. well where do I start crispy chicken was soggy, chicken was not crispy at all, and as for the broccoli well a steak knife had trouble cutting through it (uneatable ) with oyster sauce hardly any there and chips dry and shrivelled, god I could go on. We complained after eating only sweetcorn soup and prawn toast which was lovely may I say as the rest we put back into dishes for collection they refused to do refund over the phone but will send out some chicken out on us returning the none edible food they sent out the lady was the person who my partner talked to we explained how the food was unacceptable I was told veg was boiled (I think without water) still arguing are defence she offered another credit to eat there again no chance after 20mins on our doorstep I informed her i was doing a review and it would also go on trip advisor then a refund of £23 was offered as we had eaten soup and prawn toast to which the lady returned to our house with .shame we had to do this Please avoid do not waste your money , sum it up in one word s!!t . So I had to put this on trip advisor

Wonderful new management trying new menus. Definitely worth a try. Venus and her family are wonderful

I have recieved very poor service this evening. We waited 3hrs for our food which was poor quality when we got it. We had to call twice and each time the lady was very rude and made promises they clearly couldn't keep.We will not be using peking house, plymptonAgain.

Ordené que me entregaran mi primera comida para llevar y nunca volveré a pedirles. Después de esperar más de una hora y tener que llamarlos por teléfono para preguntar dónde estaba la comida, el conductor me dijo que había dejado la comida en la puerta de mi casa ya que nadie había abierto la puerta, por lo que alguien debió pellizcarla. Insistiendo en que había conseguido la casa correcta cuando lo interrogué. Luego tuve que salir y localizar la comida que había dejado el conductor fuera de la casa de otra persona a la vuelta de la esquina. 30 comida fría.Sin disculpas de ningún tipo, cuando les llamé para decirles su error.Servicio absolutamente espantoso.

Pedido web realizado, incluido el estilo tailandés de pollo frito. Recibimos un curry estilo tailandés. A pesar de llamar y ofrecerme para enviar una foto como prueba del error, simplemente me dijeron que era pollo frito y que no podían hacer nada. ¡Hay opciones mucho mejores en Plympton!

The place doesn’t look great but it’s probably one the best Chinese takeaways we have ever had. First had it with friends and now we recommend it to everyone. We had it with family recently and they all said they will keep going back. Delicious!

Undercooked, came cold, sent the wrong dish and took over an hour to come when was told 30 mins. Wouldn’t recommend or return.

Can't go wrong with this takeaway. Good value for money. Good service. Very good meals. Always go here for our Chinese.

Uso esta pequeña comida para llevar de manera regular y aún no he recibido una comida desagradable. El menú es extenso, e incluye una selección de comidas de estilo tailandés, todo a un precio razonable. Creo que es mejor ordenar en línea y recoger la comida, ya que el servicio de entrega a veces puede ser lento, pero el personal es encantador, muy útil y resulta ser una excelente comida.Sin duda la mejor comida china en la zona! ¡Darle una oportunidad! !

He utilizado esta comida china en particular durante varios años y puedo decir honestamente que la comida es abundante, está bien presentada y siempre es de muy buena calidad.El personal es muy amable, dispuesto a complacer y en general muy eficiente. Hay retrasos ocasionales en su servicio de entrega, pero eso es muy raro. Afirman ser la mejor comida china en el área, y después de haber probado los demás, ¡estoy totalmente de acuerdo! Una pequeña tienda con una gran reputación que recomendaría a cualquiera. !

Buena comida, comida para llevar muy buena, pero después de haber gastado 25 en comida china, ¡no espero tener que pagar 2 por galletas de gambas cuando estoy recolectando mi comida! ¡La primera vez que me piden dinero extra, generalmente se les da gratis! ¡Realmente decepcionado! Pobre servicio al cliente!

New Year’s Eve and once again the best local Chinese delivers on all cylinders. Fantastic food and as always great service, even at the busiest time of year. Why would you go anywhere else?

Love this take away- the staff are lovely and the food is always good quality. There is a wide selection and it’s cooked fresh to order.
