The best banana fritters I have ever tasted, soft batter, highly recommend. Very friendly staff as usual and good food cooked quickly

This was the first time we have tried this place. The waiting area is similar to sitting in your lounge at home with sofas! The service wasn't friendly, but the food was prepared quick, correct and still hot when we got home. The barbecue spare ribs were tasty, as was the beef and green pepper. It was good but not great. We have decided to try out others in our area!

*AVOID YUNGS TAKEAWAY* I’m not one to usually complain online however our experience this evening with the takeaway has been horrendous. We typically order food from here once a week for collection and haven’t had any issues when collecting the food. This evening we placed an order for delivery and when our food turns up it was all freezing cold. We rang them and they told us to put what we had in the box and their driver would collect the food and refund us! HOWEVER when the driver arrived he claimed he was not allowed to give a refund and that the takeaway would call us to organise the refund. Straightaway this seemed odd to me and I rang them up, they then claimed they were unable to give us a refund until the could physically see the food. When they got the food back they rang and said they cannot refund us as all the food was not in the box- of course the food which was on plates had gone into the bin. Over 20 minutes later of abuse being hurled at me down the phone (whilst I remained calm) I told them I’d be leaving a bad review and no longer recommending family or friends to them which the lady said I was welcome to do. Anyone who knows me is aware how I don’t really every complain (even when food is bad etc) as I’d rather not have the hassle so for me to complain shows how awful the food was. The customer service though was the worse part of it all- such a shame after being customers of theirs for a long time. Please avoid this takeaway!!!

We ordered a Chinese it turned up freezing, we rang and explained and the customer service was shocking, she said the delivery driver was going to have to come and collect the food and take it back, we thought the delivery driver would give us the money back, he said it had to go back to the shop and the owner would call us to discuss, she called back offering no refund said in fact she was out of pocket as she had to send a driver back to collect, the owner was disrespectful and rude to my daughter not accepting any responsibility at all !! I have never received such appalling service , AVOID DO NOT ORDER !!!

Not used Yungs for a while. Thought we would have a Chinese meal and was very disappointed. Ordered a chicken fried rice as one of the dishes which had a weird smell to it and had a twang taste when I tried it. Obviously didn't eat it as worried it could make me unwell. Will be avoiding takeaway for a while.

Reasonable price. Large portions. Good quality food.

Love this restaurant it's the best I've found I always get a takeaway so can't rate the atmosphere but it's delicious

amazing this place is my favourite place ever i literally have not tasted anything better in my life i love their food so much i would 100% recommend and the portions are really big too especially the chicken fried rice (my favourite).

Absolutely the worst Chinese meal we have had the displeasure of eating, we called to say the meal was inedible and seemed to have been reheated and was not fresh. I queried with Suzy the owner that it was not fresh and the meal had arrived within 5 minutes of placing the order. Will Never been going back.

Phone number for this comoany had been hacked and you now get fraudulent overseas calls from it. Or its them as a front. Do not call or order as its likely a data collection activity

Ordered food a few times from here . Don’t seem too matter if you spend or tenner or close too £50.00 like our last order food is absolutely shocking . Ordered salt and pepper chicken the chicken was that bad and chewy the dogs woundt even touch it . That’s no joke . Last time gave them three chances in the past and beyond a joke each time .

Had a small takeaway from here, absolutely awful, tasted like it had been cooked the day before and just kept warm. Will never go there again.

The lady's who work here are so friendly and nice. The food is really good too. I live close by and pop in every so often, always so friendly!

Very good for consistency on time and with the quality of the food. The chips and the curries are very good, although could do with being a bit hotter spice wise for me personally, but I'm sure if asked they can adjust the heat. I've adjusted 4 to 5 star, as this has consistently been a good experience.

Food was prepared quickly, very well presented, tasted a lot better than the other locally, and prices were good. Will definately use again.

Absolutle fantastic food. I have tried other take aways over the years but this is by far one of the best tasting. Staff are super friendly whether you call or do pick up. Only criticism if I had to find one is that perhaps the shop could with a lick of paint

House special fried rice and House special chow mein although tasty I've only given 3 stars as most chinese takeaways will give you 3 chicken 3 roast pork plus beef well this place 2 pieces each of chicken and pork no beef no prawns no veg plus tiny bit of onion and at over £7.50 I didn't think this was good value for the money. Shame really as the meat we did have was really nice, it never used to be meat scarce!

Absoueltly shocking the man on the phones reply to there mistake of my children’s tea rude customer service been waiting over 30 minutes for them to replace noodles I’m 8 minutes away from them they tried blaming argyle which the first lot of food came within 15 minutes so don’t think argyle is to blame my children are hungry I’ve not even able to enjoy my food which I’ve paid 27 pounds for food made for the bin waste of money all round and with the cost of living you think they would be more efficient and speaking to the driver there is no traffic! Top it all off the the food was cold that they re delivered! Avoid at all cost

You won't ever regret going to Yungs for a takeaway...I've been going to them for many years. Great tasting food, generous portions....fantastic!

Ordered first time today, super friendly staff and our order was rapid - they have nice comfy sofas to sit on while you wait. Food smelled amazing and when we got home it was probably one of the best chinese ive ever had, will be back to try more of the menu! King Prawn Kung Po is 10/10.

Favourite local chinese takeaway for a great price, great service and tasty food. The salt and pepper king prawns were amazing, so was the chicken chow mein, special friend rice and prawn toast. Everything we had was good! I love how they put orders in cardboard boxes for us to take away and the service is always fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for more from a local Chinese place!

Stuck at home with a massive cold and rang these guys at 21:12 tonight . Food delivered at 21:25, piping hot, tasting amazing and super super hot as requested to hopefully shift this bug, been using them for over ten years now and I won’t go anywhere else, very polite delivery driver too, big thumbs up guys and thanks again!

We are hopefully moving into the local area in the next few months, and were hopeful of finding a new local takeaway... and are VERY happy to have found one in Yung's Carry Out. The staff were great and the food delicious. It's a shame the prawn crackers are only free with a £40.00 spend, but we may have been spoiled in the past with others ;)

Really fast service and can't complain about food to much apart from the salt and pepper chicken which was really dry and over cooked. Everything else was really nice. I don't hold yungs to account to much with the salt and pepper chicken as 9/10 from most takeaways its not very good. Would order again and recommend. It's also good value for money.

Amazing place! Definitely the best Chinese in the whole of Plymouth that I have tried, been going for years now and they never have disappointed! Food is delicious and amazing.

I swear they have a time machine because the food is always ready ten seconds after you order it. They made the beef in black bean sauce gluten free for me. They did try to sell me more rice I didn't want but staff are lovely. One star deducted only because one of us always has an unexplained sore tummy the next day. The food is tasty and shouldn't be blamed but it's a mystery. My son wants you to know the special fried rice is the best and my daughter says it's the crispy chilli chicken. Can't go wrong with the chicken balls according to the others. Cheerful yummy and astonishingly lightning fast food.

We ordered a range of dishes and sides across the menu and collected. They allowed us to order ahead and collect after the kids were down and the food was ready on time, tasted great (best Kung Po chicken I've had in years) and really well priced. Now our go-to Chinese going forwards. Top notch!

Really bad experience today upset as usually nice food but realised that every time ordered different delivery charges applied. Asked to complain about overcharging and was refused a manager was then called a liar about the overcharging when it was a couple of pound how rude and what bad customer service the woman then refused to give me her name so I could make a complaint. I am so disappointed I had to cancel my order because of the terrible customer service a couple of pound is nothing how can a company be so happy to lose customers instead of saying sorry we were wrong I would have spent the couple of pound on the tip.

I ordered from Yun's on uber. I accidentally missed the phonecall for my order (I missed it by over 10 minutes). I called the restaurant and the delivery driver came back to me in less than 5 minutes. The meal was still very hot. I couldn't be happier with the customer service, the delivery driver was especially polite and understanding. Would rate then more stars if only Google would let me. Best on town!!!!

Delicious Vegetable curry,full of a variety of freshly cooked colourful vegetables in a thick rich sauce! The rice is very nice too,they let me have onion & peas in instead of egg ( being vegan).The best chinese around & I have tried a few.Chips here are also moreish & perfectly cooked.We have been coming here many years now as never dissapoint.Thankyou.

Our go to Chinese takeaway and really quick fir delivery

Ordered House special chop suey, which states...beef, chicken and King prawn...disappointing as there were no King prawn and certainly no beef. Loads of chicken and lots of baby prawn. Didn't seem to be able to ask for no onions even though it says you can on the website. This is a shame because the rest of my order was great, please iron out the issues.

We have had a few meals from here and they were ok. We order a takeaway last night and it was appalling. The meal was sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, the chicken tasted as if it was barely cooked , and it was as tough as old boots, and I was very unwell afterwords. We will definitely not be going there again.

Usually love food from here been using them for yrs ..but just had home delivery n sat eating crispy chilli beef omg it was so hot burnt my mouth wiv chilli n so hard worse chilli beef iv ever had so disappointed as its usually amazing wot has happened tonight

Weve ordered from here before and always been lovely, however today it arrived cold the sweet and sour chicken was so hard was almost inedible and the noodles seemed like they had been sat on the side all day, they were dry and crispy in places and cold. So disappointed complete waste of money.

Had a takeaway with my friend last night, it was just before they closed, it was tasteless, normally good quality food, not sure if I will use it again

Can't understand how the reviews are so mixed. Many friends and family members use this Takeaway and love it. This has been over many years. We use it as our benchmark when we TRY somewhere new in Plymouth or have a Chinese when we're away. Always compare it back to Yungs and it rarely is as nice. Portions are tasty, hot, generous and fresh. Their chips are nicer than any Chippie in my opinion. Lovely service over the phone too.

Delicious! The crispy chilli beef was particularly good. Chinese stayed hot, despite a lengthy drive home. All dishes were fresh. Lovely!

Open during lockdown. Open all week. Food quickly available, tasted lovely and was good value. Friendly staff (behind their screens).

Tasty mushroom rice and vegetable chow mein. We ordered from here recently. The more traditionally Chinese dishes were generous portions and tasty. The delivery was very quick and it was reasonably priced. The roast chicken was a bit dry though. They do great chips.

He comido un par de veces, en general está bien, pero a veces en el lado frío. . Me pregunto cómo se las arreglan para obtener órdenes tan rápidamente. . ¿Tal vez recalienten? ? Las salsas están bien, nada especial, sin embargo se canjean con bolitas de pollo. . muy agradable. Nunca he tenido entregas como ha tenido grandes problemas con otros chinos. así que realmente no puedo comentar sobre eso, pero en general no es un mal chino si quieres una comida rápida. .

ordered food for delivery last night honey mustard chicken was dry and tough and un edible the sweet and sour chicken balls were dry and felt like they had been cooked and rewarmed not eaten the food was cold we have bought from here several times but wont bother again as the last time the food was not that special but I gave the benefit of the doubt.

They do an excellent vegetable curry and being a vegan they kindly put peas and onions in my fried rice instead of egg when I asked for me which is very nice! The chips are the best in Plymouth.
