The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Food was lovely. Eat as much as you want for 23. pounds. Staff were so friendly. Would highly recommend. Will be going back there.

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this was GORGEOUS! We were going to go to a usual chain restaurant but thought we’d try somewhere authentic and independent, and I’m so glad we did- I had Chinese while my husband had Japanese, and our toddler had both (firstly, very accommodating for letting us do that). The Chinese was just unreal- I’ve tried many across the county and it was the best I’ve had. The duck in plum sauce was amazing and the egg fried rice was a highlight actually, such a staple has left me thinking about it several days later🥲 all the staff were so kind and friendly to a pair of very anxious diners and a grumpy/sleepy toddler (even bringing him a special little complimentary dish without us having to ask) and I’m very glad I’ll be studying in Lincoln and able to regularly support them. It’s such a big space too! I had no idea, a real hidden gem and I’ll be encouraging everyone I know to give it a try.

Can't fault this place.. brilliant take away... The chicken balls are huge.. only thing you do need to do is if you are getting delivery ask them not to put things in plastic bags as where it's piping hot things like chips and batter can go soggy ... Good value for money great food.. sometimes delivery can take a while but that's really the only downside

Used to be good restaurant, probably the best round here. Since change of ownership the food gone downhill fast. New owners dont know how to cook the food or give a $#!+ about it, many chinese takeaways are now sold to people from mainland china as previous generation owners are at retirement age and their kids dont really want to work in the food business so they just sell it to one of their workers which is the case here, the mainland people in china cook food that are very spicy and taste quite a bit different from chinese/ Cantonese food outlets we know. Chinese people are proud of their nation and the reason you never see mainland chinese cusine on any food outlet is it is different kind of food and is less popular. Staff is rude especially the lady owner, who talks like they gave you the food for free and dont be fooled by the former boss showing up and serving you he is most likely there to disguise that the business is sold.

Ordere online via Just Eat, food arrived in super quick time. We ordered vegan salt + chilli beef, vegan kung po chicken, vegan mixed veg fried rice and vegan salt + chilli chicken. All food was very tasty, this place offers an excellent range of meat-free options.

Good food .good sevice and pipping hot curry .

Will I never learn had bad meals from here before nothings still low quality and not very nice tasting WON'T GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE SAVE YOUR MONEY HAVE BEANS ON TOAST

Poor ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and they are the wrong colour have no crispy batter and taste bland - very awful for the price we paid!! Egg fried rice has no egg I don’t know how they are rated 4.4🤢

Top class. We’ve been struggling to find a decent Chinese since the Flower Drum in Watford closed. Will be regulars from now I think. 5 star.

The portions are really small, the sweet and sour chicken was hard! Noodles were extremely greasy. Long story short I have been up puking and other stuff, this is not good food. I highly wouldn’t recommend this place.

Absolutely the worst Chinese meal we have had the displeasure of eating, we called to say the meal was inedible and seemed to have been reheated and was not fresh. I queried with Suzy the owner that it was not fresh and the meal had arrived within 5 minutes of placing the order. Will Never been going back.

It had been a little while since we had been here so decided to give it a try, really wish we hadn’t . The service was very slow , the restaurant freezing cold and the food very basic . I got the impression it is used more for takeaways now which seemed to keep going out whilst we sat and waited for our food to arrive . Such a shame as it was always a lovey place to go .

My go to Chinese, food is always good,not too expensive, and you're never waiting too long. Special noodle boxes are fab, great value too.

Pretty average. Some of the food was good, some was pretty poor. Give the duck in plum sauce a wide berth.
