Delivered in super fast time, unfortunately each meal wasn't as good by a country mile as in the summer. Greasy to say the least. Chips like sticks, not what we were used to at all. We won't be back fir a while I doubt.

Have tried quite a few dishes from sunny hill and all of them have been delicious.Delivery is always on time and prices are very reasonable Highly recommend this Chinese takeaway .

As always, lovely lady and service. Chicken curry packed with tender meat, chow main likewise. Highly recommended Delivery was also second to none Enjoyable experience.

The lady on the counter is really friendly, it's always normally the same person. I live 30 mins from Sunny hill, and the food is still piping hot when i get home. The service is really quick and the food is superb, very tasty, I cannot fault the place.

We have been using this takeaway for years and now they have extended their delivery threshold to a wider area, it is even better. The food was delivered HOT and tasted great as always.

Prices were excellent, food was not. Chicken Chow mein was a tad burnt and quite salty. But the staff here seemed friendly

Just had a meal delivered promptly, sweet and sour chicken that was not freshly cooked, batter was soft and undercooked although the chicken was so tough it was barely edible so it would seem we had last nights left overs put in the microwave.It’s all gone in the bin now, won’t be using them again, had similar bad food from there before but trip adviser gave a high satisfaction result so we thought we would give it a try. £16 wasted, very disappointing.

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve every eaten. We were told 10 minutes to wait and it was done before then. The rice was burnt, the sauces all congealed, the chicken cooked to extinction. Only good thing about this Chinese is their chips! I don’t not recommend!

Always turn to Sunny hill for our Chinese treat food is always delicious and hot. Never had a bad meal def would recommend it.

Food had clearly been reheated again and again. The chips were like toenails and the crispy beef was so hard it flew off the plate when you tried to get your fork in. Disappointing

Delicious and tasty meals served always besides the friendly and excellent service from a very helpful lady who give a good advice when you're undecided ;) A free freshly made prawn cracker is given with certain amount purchased. Very money valued meal, always big full portion. Give it a try then you'll understand what I said. Will definitely recommend it. Great job!

With all the prior amazing reviews, how could we get a bad meal?Staff are friendly and prices are fair. I had the dim sum for starter which looked more like a traditional sharing platter for two. Everything was tasteless. Next I had the shrimp with peppers and my family had chicken balls and chicken chow mein. My shrimp left a bad aftertaste, and the balls were below average. Only nice thing was the white rice. Overall, it was highly disappointing. I prefer Mandalay in Loggerheads or Jasmine Peking in Ecceleshall.

Very good takeaway indeed! Have been using it for many years and can't remember ever having a bad meal from here. The front-of-house staff are lovely and, once you're a regular, have a good shot at remembering what you usually order :).They have a bit of competition as the Hot Wok is just a couple of doors along and that too is very good - so I think the two businesses are keeping each other at the top of their game :D

This is a first class Chinese takeaway. It has a large and varied menu at very reasonable prices. The service is excellent and well cooked meals made up quickly. Highly recommended. And you get a bag of free prawn crackers with your order.

This is mine & my partners favourite Chinese in our area (Stone). The food is always hot when delivered & always comes in good time. When collecting the service is also very fast, & there is a small car park located near by. The prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly & will give advice on any dishes you’re unsure of.

I've always had great meals from Sunny Hill. It can take a long time to get through when phoning to order, but once ordered, the food is usually ready for collection within 10-15 minutes. I've never had any bad experiences here.

We regularly use Sunny Hill for our Chinese take away, the food is always delicious. We usually have the same sorts of dishes and they are always tasty and piping hot. Delivery times are always about right and the staff have always been pleasant

Really good value take out, delivered in a timely fashion. We had a set meal and there was more than enough for 2! We will return!

We were down for a trip to Alton towers and staying at the Stafford m6 travelodge north and went here because it was close the food was reasonably priced and tasty the lady behind the counter was very friendly food didn't take too long there curry sauce was good chow mien chicken balls all good fried rice could do with more soy sauce but that's just the way I'm used to still very tasty though

Somos una soleada colina a clientes habituales porque aparentemente es el mejor en piedra, mi hija le encanta la comida china. Yo creo que es soso, tienden a chow mein, que creo que tiene un sabor a ajo, lo que nunca he tenido antes de otras tiendas y el chino arroz frito es como el arroz hervido. Nos trasladamos a stone en febrero y que estoy encontrando su difícil llevar una buena!

He tenido mejores. Pero estuvo bien para el dinero que se uso cuando en un rush, pero no si tengo familia otra vez usaré otra comida para llevar.

our takeaway tonight was awfull...we live 4 minutes away and the food was cold and dry...never use this chinese take away again...we only used this chinese because Oulton Road was closed, we arnt regulars here and never will be if this is your standard.

I've never had a bad meal from this place. The food is of a good standard. Many of my friends and family also get takeaways from here and everyone agrees the food is nice.

I use this takeaway at least once a week.Fast service - never ever had a bad meal in years.I always collect - the food is fresher and it takes less time (the time it takes to get a bottle of wine from the shop next door !)Highly recommended!!!!!!!

I find the food from here very average- definitely not the most amazing chinese you will every have but it is ok. I do prefer it to the other chinese in Stone though. It seems to be reasonably priced and is very quick if you go in to order.

Ok , so we all know that Stone isn't the best place for takeaway food , but having moved around quite a bit , this is one of the better Chinese takeaways we've found. Not had a bad meal from there yet ,and they always answer the phone and deliver quickly . Ignore the bad reviews and try it for yourself .

As Stone is probably one of the worst places in the UK for a decent takeaway we have had to use this place for a Chinese takeaway on a Saturday evening. Being a regular for well over 12 months we find that unless we ring and order at 5pm the minute they open then you can forget getting an order after that as they take the telephone off the hook. What I find is that this is a disgustingly poor tactic to regulars that try to order late on and seriously poor customer service.I cannot belive in this day and age that a takeaway can be run so unprofessional that they cannot cope with telephone orders and know that people will just drive there to collect once they remove the telephone option.Stone is desperate for some quality eating places!Thanks Sunny Hill I've been out since 6.30am this morning working all day until 6.30pm and my only highlight of the evening was to grab a Chinese for the family!!

I had visitors last month and we normally eat out or order an Indian as I don't know of any Chinese takeaways in Stone. Anyway a few guests fancied Chinese and we found this place on the internet.I didn't have a menu and there wasn't one on the internet so I asked them to get me something with seafood.They ordered nine meals and expected to wait quite a while but the order was ready ten minutes later.I know Chinese food can contain a lot of vegetables but this was ridiculous,it was all veg in a horrible luminous red sauce (it was supposed to be a prawn dish,I counted six prawns).We were all very disappointed, never again

I have lived in Stone for nearly 20 years now, and have been going to Sunny Hill for as long as I can remember.Food: I am a creature of habit and my order will 9 times out of 10 be 'crispy shredded beef in sauce' and 'noodles or chow mein'. It's my absolute favourite, and I have tried it at various other Chinese takeaways in Stone over the years and nothing compares! Whether I pick it up or have it delivered it is always piping hot and I am always very satisfied. My boyfriend and family however regularly change their order, from chicken curry to Peking duck, and have always been really pleased with the standard and taste, brilliant! Service: The service is always great whether I collect or have it delivered. The people are very friendly and polite which really adds to the overall experience. The food usually takes less than 15 minutes to pick up, but can vary with delivery dependant on demand. I always tip because they do a brilliant job, and I hope that other people tip generously too! Value: I always find Chinese food more expensive than cuisines whether eating in or taking away; however I find that Sunny Hill is very reasonably priced considering the standard of food and service.Overall, it's a brilliant little place that's a hidden gem! Stone's lack of Chinese takeaways and restaurants is borderline criminal for the size of the place. Very little to choose from and this is probably one of the few that you can actually get them to deliver. Not brilliant but acceptable!

Was recommended to Sunny Hill when we first moved to Stone 14 years ago - and still going back! The Spicy Fried Rice is superb - it's my standard order! - but the family love trying other dishes on the menu - and are rarely disappointed!

There are three take-away Chinese in Stone,one dreadful,one edible and then there is Sunny Hill - the best Chinese take-away in Stone by far.

We regularly order from here and have not been disappointed. There is a wide choice available to order from their menu whether it be for delivery or collection. The staff a very friendly and happy to explain all about their speciality dishes.
