good menu but since last year food quality has dropped was the best in stone but i don’t feel it is the same as it once was but always loved it

£52 wasted. Took about 1.5 hours to deliver less than a mile away and I'm being generous saying it was Luke warm . Called to complain was told to go through customer service on the website even tho I paid cash

We order today some prings chips and chow mein dishes... Salt salt salt....we can't eat that...very dispaointed....thirst time i get food like that...sory but if nobody check that and you send food like that....no coment.

We have a takeaway once a month from there. We had shredded beef on Saturday night with was kinda spicy and dry, but by the time we went bed my son and I have been living on the toilet, and I still have terrible stomach pain We won't be coming back

Something has changed over the past months. Delivery is OK but last order had tough crispy duck, hard king prawns, and curry with horrible onions in it. Shame.

As a Chinese person I am so satisfied with the food there it was fast delivery and it tasted like I cooked it myself . I highly recommend the soft noodles absolutely amazing 🤩

Disgusting service at this place. The guy is so rude. The deliveries are always hours late, and they constantly lie about ‘10 minutes’ and it ends up over 2 hours, cold and bland. I’d seriously avoid this low rent joint and use the ones on Pirehill.

We’ve ordered food and waited 2 and a half hours for it to arrive when we rang after one hour of waiting they said it would be delivered in the next 5 minutes we were still waiting for an hour and a half and got a negative response when we called back, being called liers and the food has been delivered. Until he asked the chef and he said they’ve only just started to make it. Been here a lot a very disappointed on how bad it’s become now.

Ordered food and rang up 2 hours later to ask where it was, they said it was on its way. 20 minutes later we rang again and the worker was rude to my mom, my stepdad and me and then hung up on us. We tried to ring back again after waiting more and they put us straight though to voicemail. Food turned up and it had half the order missing and the food was soggy and lukewarm. Rang back to say we aren't taking it and they got rude again and hung up on us once more. Don't recommend they clearly don't care about their customers

The chips were £4.20 a portion and they were inedible, they were burnt and had been re fried. I don’t think I have ever complained anywhere before, but they were that bad I called to advise, I was called a liar and told the food was fine. I repeated that they are burnt and inedible and again was told they weren’t. I said I woud drive up with the bag of chips and show him as I aren’t a liar. Why would anyone eat the rest of the food and complain about the chips. I was told I would get a call back and then received a message again saying they don’t do refunds and that the food was to standard. I don’t know anyone that would have eaten them chips. I replied saying how bad the customer service was and again I explained I never complain. I received another rude reply. The food was greasy, one of the worst Chinese’s I have had but it was edible… but the chips. 🤢

Walked in tonight and ordered spare ribs (£6.90) and special curry with chips (£6.90), total £13.80. The guy on the front desk said £14. Questioned the price politely as menu stated the chips were included. He then took 20p out of the till and dropped it in front of me, I then gave him £20 which he put in the till and turned away. I stopped him and asked for my change, £6 in total. He stared at me, accused me of confusing him then threw a £20 to me telling to order somewhere else! Rude in the extreme. Will never recommend this place.

Don't go here if you're vegetarian the food I got had prawns contaminated in it 🤮 also the only tofu option they do looks and tastes like cardboard. Disgusting. I think I was over charged too. Definitely won't be going back

Food Collection pick-up service is very fast and only takes 5-10 minutes, although they do deliver to yarnfield as I wait for Chinese food more than half an hours . If you want Chinese food and have no idea, please contact Johnson's staff. His very patient introduction was to your taste. I personally recommend the large Salt&pepper box as a great choice to share . Thank you Dragon Palace in Stone for having a unique Asian taste.

I'm very unhappy with Dragon Palace. I called up to tell them that the order on Just Eat was late by 15 minutes. I was then spoke to rudely they told me that they can't contact the driver and that it was on the way (clearly a lie). It's now been 50 mins late and they've told me it will be another 10 so an hour late if it turns up. They have now not even answered the phone.

Food took ages to come. We even got a message saying it was on its way, but when it didn't arrive after this message and wondering where our food was, we called the take away to ask where it was, the very rude man on the phone said I cannot ask my driver bye and put the phone down on us. 10 minutes later we had a notification saying there was a problem with our order and we now had to wait a further 45 minutes. In total the order took 2 hours to arrive.

I will not order from this place ever again! I wrote instructions about the food and that was ignored so we couldn't enjoy it, also I gave instructions t call me because my buzzer don't work and they never listened to that either !! The food tasted terrible , we had more veg than anything and it took a long time to receive , so basically the customer is clearly not important at all , not to mention the meat was tough and chewy !! The food had an odd taste to it and is the most I ever spent on my order and only 1 bag of prawn crackers that I had to pay nearly 4 pound for , nearly 40 pound order I would normally get free prawn crackers . all in all I would not recommend this place what so ever... So but I speak as I find , so now I will be going back to the Chinese that put there customers 1st...

Ordered food from here and they completely messed up my order. Charged me for items I never ordered then on the phone said if you come back down I will swap the item for you but you can pay the extra… absolutely shocking customer service

We ordered to collect in store, it was ready in 20 mins. Staff friendly when we arrived. Food was hot and fresh, tasted great as always. I recommend getting the mixed starter box it’s great

Tried here for the first time..And won't be ordering again! My beef chow mein was bland...Stodgy and just not nice at all....my husband had special chow mein which he said was "ok" salt and pepper chips were the best part of the meal...Usually use Sunny Hill but thought we'd try somewhere else...Will stick to our original takeaway...Not impressed with this Chinese at all!

Since had been taken over, pretty poor! Started out ok, then the quality went down hill on last 2 orders, prices have also gone up too much. £3.20 for delivery 2 miles away. Again te price of the food is horrific for what you are provided. If it was at least good quality you could maybe justify it. Last order food was horrific. Tried to get refund was refused. Contacted the app provider, they won’t refund as the restaurant deleted the order. Never again. I would say thanks for the free cheap bottle of coke, but even that was vile.

Awful abused by the owner after contacting to say our food was cold and tasted and smelt off. The chicken as clearly cooked from frozen as it was tough as old boots. I was told repeatedly it was 10° outside so the food would not be cold! Avoid this place unless you want food poisoning!!

I ordered food around 4.35pm I phoned up at 5.30pm and 6.30pm to see were my order was and the bloke said its on it's way but then nothing arrived so I phoned back the Chinese man said I pass you onto the delivery driver said he saw a couple outside walking a dog on manor rise then he changed it to he knocked at a house were a bloke and a child answered the door .I just think there didn't cook the food never delivered the food .never ever order nothing from this place ever again poor poor .if I could rate this place it would be half a star very very poor .

I went regularly to Dragon Palace previously and really enjoyed the food. However, after the change in ownership - never again! I ordered fried rice with tofu in chilli sauce. The tofu was absolutely inedible - over cooked to the point it was rock hard throughout. I was hungry so removed the tofu and ate the few surrounding veggies and fried rice. The veg and sauce was edible - just - very salty though. The fried rice was ok. Maybe the cook was having a bad night .. but this is ‘hands down’ the worse Chinese meal I’ve ever had. If this is the typical food they serve… I’d suggest a change in career!!

This is probably the worst Chinese I have ever had all the meat has no texture flavour and the pork had gone off. Prawn crackers are stale a lot of the food tastes like it is weeks old cold on arrival and staffs were unhelpful when telling them we were not happy with the order DO NOT USE go to flaming Wok or Sunny Hill instead

I orded once yo eccleshall tried today they made a excuse a week before saying they can't deliver at weekend, now they are saying they can't deliver this far, what a joke one min you ll deliver then the next you won't..you donr deserve customers if thats how you treat your customers..they dont even deserve 1star dont bother go order some where else.. get your stories and excuses striaght Dragon Palace.. Worst Chinese ever!! Meat was very fatty and tasteless prawns were over cooked and dry. We ordered 3 sauces BBQ , sweet and sour and satay all very runny consistency, the BBQ was tasteless the satay was just ok, the sweet and sour was edible but nothing special. The rice was ok. I had a four seasons with the oyster sauce and again no flavour what so ever. I only used this place because my regular was shut, I'll never be disloyal to my regular Chinese in stone again. Also extremely expensive for such poor quality!! Literally praying I don't get food poisoning. Absolutely shocking I don't think I've ever had a Chinese this bad I didn't eat most of because it was mostly inedible.

I have been a regular customer of Dragon Palace for a decade but no more after last night's meal. I noticed the frontage had been repainted red from the previous green - should have been a warning! End result is new management (very rude which doesn't help with customer relations!) huge price hike and terrible quality. There are plenty of other excellent takeaways in Stone, just not this one!

We ordered 1 x chicken curry 1 x chicken chow mein 2 x lge pancake rolls 1 x chips The curry was very nice with nice chicken and lots of onions. The chow mein was also very nice. The pancake rolls were very salty and not much content besides beansprouts. The chips were a bit like cardboard. The staff serving at the counter were very friendly and polite. Overall it's an ok place to have a takeaway. Nothing special but ok for eating. We would use this place again.

Very friendly and helpful when i ring for a takeaway. Always tell you the price so you can get the money ready and the driver doesn't have to hover. Food is always hot and really yummy and worth the money. No complaints.

1 hour 20 mins for delivery. Yuk sunk wet and oily inedible. Singapore choemein not spicy, but clean as I asked for less oil however 90% noodles not much meat.chips good. Prawn toast good.

Very poor delivery and customer service. It was over 2 hours from first point of order. A few phone calls made and said that they would compensate where possible with free spring rolls! I asked for a partial refund and no offer of that. Food arrived and no free spring rolls (not that we wanted them anyway). Bland tasting food and nothing special overall. A very disappointing Friday night takeaway experience with a bitter aftertaste of feeling we’ve been robbed of our hard earned cash. We’ll NEVER EVER use them again!

Bland.. Dripping in grease.. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering lool. Never have I ever had to use the WHOLE bloody tub of sweet and sour sauce on my noodles and STILL not taste a damn thing. You lot clearly need to come to London for food. Good luck

Ordered our food for 4 people, it arrived. One dish was still partly frozen. Rang up, told it was not frozen over the phone and I was wrong. Got the delivery driver to return , he confirmed it was frozen over the phone. They gave a refund on the one dish, despite the meal for everyone being spoiled. Avoid like the plague!

Tried to charge me £2.50 for delivery which i got told was £1.25 and minumum order of 6.00 with a charge of 1.25. Then on another occasion £4.25 for the same address for delivery! if u do order calculate what it should be as they are overcharging people and if it wasnt for me questioning it i would of been charged 14.70 for 1 main chips and a sauce the women on the phone hasnt got a clue. clearly ripping people off i wont be using them again

My husband ordered our usual whenit arrived it was totally different as we got told the week before by one of their staff what the dish was called so he ordered that, he rang when it arrived to say it was incorrect for the girl to turn around and say what do you want us do you ordered wrong your not getting a refund, so then I rang and must of spoken to the same patronising girl calling me “hun” I asked to speak to a manager and explained to this lady that one of their staff had told us the name of this dish so therefor it’s their fault she agreed they were to blame!! I’m never ordering from there due to the girls lack of customer service skills and thinks she owns the place!! We ordered from their all the time you’ve lost good customers!!

Gave this one a chance, ordered at1900, was told 45mins to 1hour for delivery....ok benefit of the doubt. 1hour 30mins later, quick call to enquire where is order.."err, I will check if its left....it will be there in five mins" Ok..... five mins later I left and fetched food from elsewhere.... My advice, try fetching it yourself or go somewhere else

Nice home delivery service (minimum order £10). Free delivery for orders over £15 within 3 miles. Even open through all bank holidays. Excellent service.

Usually like dragon palace food but tonights food was vile...bbq spare ribs in a clear sauce which was just fat in bottom on tub no meat on ribs just fat... the dog enjoyed it...chow mein full of peppers nearly whole pepper and no meat . waste money sorry been using this chinese years, we will try somewhere else next time

La comida estaba bien, la chica que servía era servicial y agradable, pero el edificio estaba en urgente necesidad de actualizar y limpia. No desanimarme, ya que me hizo wounder si el edificio era tan malo como lo que era la cocina.Sería bueno tener un restaurante chino y comida para llevar en piedra que era sabroso y limpio.

I only came across this take away when our favourite chinese take away was closed for a two week holiday. The place isn't the pretiest from the outside, but not one to judge a book by its cover I ordered a meal for the family. We purchased a variety of food including Chicken in chilli & salt, house special curry, hong kong chicken, and beef with pineapple. The food was prepared, in 15 minutes, which we promptly took home to eat. Every dish was delicious, with the vegetables still remaining crispy, and the chicken and beef very tender. The Curry and Chicken curry was to die for. They do provide a delivery service, and as a result, we will now be ordering all our chinese take aways from Dragon Palace.

Tenía un llevar comida desde aquí la noche pasada 2/10/2015 y quedé muy impresionado. Aunque utilizamos llevar bastante elegimos el 6,28 Chatarra pato con los panqueques fir un cambio, que era precioso y también el pollo Chow mein con el cispy fideos . Disfrutamos mucho la comida y, sin duda, volveremos para más muy recomendable.

Por experiencia, hemos encontrado que el chino para llevar puede ser un éxito y perder, pero este lugar es sin duda uno de los mejores locales. Es pequeño, pero su menú es variado.

I usually order sweet and sour chicken or prawn noodles which are both nice. The delivery could be very longs during the weekend so you have to order well in advance.
