Dragon Wok Chinese Takeaway in Runnymede

Wanted a Chinise delivered and tried a different takeaway to my usual. What a surprise! Easy order - very polite and clear. Delivery earlier than advised. Cheaper than our normal. Food was better than the more expensive popular restaurant . The prawn toasts where be best we have ever had! If in Ottershaw or surrounding area, well worth a try.

Outstanding as always highly appreciated And recommend if yr looking for hot and outstanding food dragon wok is the place to eat used for 8 yrs now no other Chinese comes close

Great food as usual. Been using them for 12 years now. Its a shame the local youths leave their packaging in the street but thats not the restaurants fault. I know they try. Just spent almost £90 for a large family takeaway and it was 'All' superb

been there a couple of times Lady has a bad attitude problem and I was very surprised and disgusting by what I seen 🤢when taking the food back she said it was fine to eat like this that they do not clean there prawns u can imagine being 7 months pregnant and have tried this before 🤮🤭did not get a apology

Went there tonight with a friend, Poor service such a rude women in there ! Spoke to us like utter crap. Got food asked for plastic knife and fork and told us No because of covid in the end had to eat my chicken chow mein with my hands. We full well knew they had plastic knifes and forks that they could give out. Wouldnt ever go back there again tasted like crap

Ordered delivery the women owner was rude on phone rushing me and then when food turned up the smoked chicken was dry and tasted of old oil and so did the chicken chow mien won’t be ordering again disgusting chucked it in bin

I've had better experiences from Dragon Wok before, but yesterday they gave us a wrong dish. Hopefully if someone got our sweet and sour HK prawns they were happy with it! Still great portion sizes though and we will go back.

I telephoned the takeaway at 1655hrs. The lady answered and took my order. I was very surprised when the order was delivered about 15 minutes later. The food was hot and very tasty. There was so much food we warmed up the surplus for a meal next day.

Compared to Bokays, this wasn’t that nice. It may be a personal thing. But sauce was clumpy and food tasted rubbery. Dry ribs were nice.

Been coming here for 5 years or so and always consistent and quality. The sweet lady who serves me is so committed and dedicated and open to changing items, she never complains and the food is top quality every time without fail. Loads and loads of travellers always go there and come from miles away on word of mouth that says it all. Best Chinese in addlestone and surrounding areas

Excellent tasty dishes. Much enjoyed ll all especially the Sesame Prawn Toast and the Crispy Aromatic Duck. Good sized portions too. Very clean and efficient, friendly staff. We had home service delivery which arrived very promply within 20 minutes of placing our order.

Fantastic Chinese takeaway. Food is superb, very friendly staff and good value. I visited for the first time in 13 years and the owner still remembered me and my old address. Superb, highly recommended

We ordered a takeaway for the three of us and the food was good. The prawn toast was amazing and tasted of actual prawns. The Kung Pao chicken with cashews is also a dish I would recommend. The smoked shredded chicken looks overcooked but tastes nice, we have only ordered this once so not sure if it was a one off. Speedy service, we would order from there again.

The Deep Fried Crispy Chilli Chicken (64 on the menu) is to die for, sometimes i just order it on it's own to have with rice made at home! this time also had the satay chicken which was good too

Choose from a variety of dishes, from north to south china and Malaysian style. This Takeaway has not been tempted to alter dishes to a bland UK style. They have kept it fairly authentic similar to steet and market vendors in the far east. Free delivery, what more could you ask

Called in for a takeaway and when I got home I opened the containers and had received sweet and sour chicken balls instead of sweet and sour hong kong style and the amount of chicken was minimal.

Started using this Chinese since it first opened it used to be good but now the lady at the front desk is rude and the food has really gone down hill also they don give out any spoons or forks but yet they offer a lunch set menu they expect u to eat. Will

We went on a recommendation but were very disappointed. Soups were quite ordinary but fine. Chicken sambal was tasty. All badly let down by a very poor singapore noodles.

We had a takeaway meal last night for a party of 8. Service was excellent and they delivered it speedily. Very reasonable prices and quality of food was good, we especially loved the crispy duck. My only complaint would be the quantity, we had heard the portions were generous so we ordered the set menu for 6 and there was far too much for 8, We did have to waste quite a lot of food. Perhaps a hungrier bunch of people could have coped!

This is a small Chinese take away. The do deliver locally. The food is very good and quickly provided.

I visit this local Chinese takeaway often as it's just over the road. Well that isn't bring fair as the food is good too. The large spring roll is a mammoth and too big for me unfortunately. I thoroughly enjoy the chill beef and various starters. Very good for quick, tasty and vfm food.

This place is a travellers play ground. The atmosphere is very intimidating. Management seem not bothered about people eating on the counter and commenting on other customers food or orders. I will definitely not return.

Tried many in the area...this is our local and the food is great every time. Not the cheapest but the best....,could do with reducing the salt content but that is personal preference. Amazing!!!

This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese takeaway in the UK. The service is quick, the food is very good value, always delicious and large portions. When ever I have a takeaway from anywhere else (in other parts of the country) I am always disappointed. I recommend this to everyone! We get takeaways from here every couple of weeks.

This is one of the best takeaways we`ve had in ages.Big portions, very good taste, well priced.We had 3 dishes and rice and a pancake roll. All were spot on, we will definitely be back.

if you want to be intimated or abused by travellers rock up to this second rate food joint! Its a real shame but apparently they have passed the word around their world that this is a great dating joint and now block the roads around this little takeaway. Personally I don't want to be abused for walking down the road or waiting to be served in line as opposed to letting all their mates jump in front of me, so I wont ever go there again. food is ok but I strongly advise avoiding because its just not a nice environment to be in and the staff choose to do nothing about it. SHAME ON YOU

Great food! Hot and tasty! Quickly prepared! I ordered over the phone and it was waiting for me! They said 15 mins and Perfect timing.

We tried the Dragon Wok for the first time this weekend based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed! We ordered the several beancurd dishes and noodles and very dish was yummy ! Highly recommend the beancurd with blackbean sauce and beancurd with Szechuan!!!! The dishes were not too oily and had lots of veggies that were crunchy. We will be ordering from here again without a doubt!

First time we have used this takeaway. Food was okay, nothing particularly special. One of the starters we ordered was seaweed which I usually love but when I opened the container of seaweed there was a strange smell of fish. I tasted the seaweed and it tasted really fishy and strange so we didn't eat it. I don't think we'd use this place again.

best chinese takeaway I have experienced. Be prepared for a wait on Saturday nights but it's worth it!

I regularly use this Chinese takeaway as it can be very convenient for me if I have finished work and do not want to cook. The menu is clear and self explanatory. When you call, the person on the other end of the phone is always willing to help with any questions about the meals. Depending on what you order, food can be ready in about 15 minutes which is good! Also, the portion sizes are great, often there are plenty for left overs or a separate meal the next day. I live about a 10 minute walk from the restaurant and have never had a problem with delivery whether my order has been under or over £15. I will continue to use this Chinese as it is the best one available in the area.

Website and leaflet clearly state free delivery within 4 mile radius. We are only 3 miles away and they refused free delivery and hung up. Poor service, false advertising. Totally unimpressed. Blessing as I saved my money, on calories and the risk of coronary artery disease!

The food is freshly cooked and delivered fast. Price is good! Try the curry puffs - there amazing! The best Chinese around in New Haw, Addlestone, Ottershaw, Weybridge and Chertsey.
