The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

The chicken was raw in the curry. Pink, slimy and glistening. I sent them a message and a photo through Facebook to which no one replied. Sadly won’t be back after this. The Golden Eagle is leagues better.

I am very appalled with the service I received last weekend. After receiving The wrong food I phoned to let them know, to my surprise the lady was extremely unhelpful just saying that is what I had ordered, I would not have order this dish as I am vegetarian, it was full of meat and seafood which was wasted. I will not be using Hong Kong chef in the future as they obviously don’t care if their customers are happy.

Poor delivery time poor and cold food first and last time we use them

We have just moved to the area spent over £70 on a takeaway and it was disappointing to say the least! The chicken was extremely rubbery and inedible, crispy duck was very greasy and over cooked but worst of all the chicken chow mein was soo bad it was definitely re heated the noodles where like mush and tasteless. Going from there reviews we thought we just had a unusual bad experience so called the restaurant to explain our experience to be told there is nothing wrong with there food and there wasn't any problem!! Being a business owner I do not leave bad reviews lightly but I was extremely taken back by there response and felt it was necessary. Definitely would not recommend there takeaway food. Obviously I can not comment on there restaurant food, maybe it is different from what we experienced

Very disappointing that 2 orders to the same place at the same time (because the Foodhub app wouldn't let us place one order for over £100 so we had to split it) and not only were we charged 2 delivery fees of £9 and £12, they had the cheek to phone up and demand another £3! Both orders delivered by one driver!

Ordered salt and pepper ribs and wings. Waited for ages then asked if they had even started making it, apparently ribs and wings take longer to make which is new to me. Pretty tasteless and full of batter. Kids behind counter serving more bothered about having a laugh than getting orders right as there were a few customers returning with wrong orders. First time trying here but doubt I’ll return after wasting £15 on less than average food!

The food is always lovely and fresh. Shame they don't deliver or take cards. They could make more effort with the menus on display and the waiting area, but this isn't a deal breaker!. Staff were friendly and respectful. My goto Chinese in the area.

Everything was fine apart from what was meant to be chicken curry, usually delicious but my husband wasn't sure what meat this was supposed to be? Looks rather disgusting !

Great service, great tasting food, friendly staff. Delivery was fast. Would recommend them for a good Chinese takeaway. A1.

We had a takeaway whilst staying in a local caravan park. All of the food was hot and of a high standard. One of the best I’ve had.

Been going to this Chinese for 16yrs but I ordered a meal for delivery it took 1hour to arrive it was cold the chips looked like they were yesterday's, the curry was not the same overall a very poor experience and I don't think I will use them again .
