Orded veg curry.and coke.but gotcurry with pawns. Chicken.pork. I thrown most off it away taste of chicken .pawns What a waste...

Ordered online at 7pm, expected delivery on email says by 8pm. 8.25pm no sign of food so call. Male answers, ask if food will be here soon as it's been almost an hour and a half wait and he said yeah it's on its way and hung up. No apology, no explaination of why it's so late, was a bit rude. This has happened twice via online ordering. Really disappointed. We always use them and never usually have a problem and the food is great.

Ordered online through the website for delivery at 21:10. Order came 30 minutes early when was not home. However, driver left in safe spot and food was still warm upon getting home. Food was excellent, and the customer service was even better as got a call apologising for the inconvenience of the delivery which was a great touch of hospitality. Food was exceptional and this will become our local Chinese. Definitely recommend.

Best chips around and I love the curry sauce.

Absolutely appalling, false advertisement on the burgers both chicken and normal burger. Shows a photo of lettuce in the chicken burger, then comes with a small steak of chicken and a bun no lettuce and no cheese in the burger. Won’t be ordering again. Disgusting.

This has become our local, great hot food when you want it. Wide selection of food available and friendly staff. Their chips are really tasty and I always go for their Singapore style noodles which are full of flavour.

Excellent fish and chips from the Sizzling Wok. Actually even better than from Oh My Cod. The large cod is absolutely huge with nice light, crisp batter on perfectly cooked tender fish. The chips were really good - nice and crisp without being overcooked and not greasy. The food was well packed in a cardboard tray so didn’t go soggy on the way home. Great value too at £10.10 for the large cod, chips and mushy peas (cash only). Highly recommended. The fish menu is a bit limited with only cod on offer, no haddock or plaice etc. but all the other chip shop staples are available.

Good food - a little slow and staff aren’t too engaging so not the perfect experience, but happy enough and would most definitely return here. Portion sizes are good and taste wise were nice enough also.

Sorry guys, but I am so disappointed today. I have to ask for honey and sesame sauce with the shredded chicken everytime order, otherwise it comes bone dry. There is a tiny bit of sauce today, but still not enough. Most annoying is that the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls tastes burnt and is inedible. So I sit here eating my dry chips, dry chicken balls and dry shredded chicken in confusion and regret. We always order from you and will continue to if there is not a repeat performance of today. The kids enjoyed what they ordered. XxxX

Good Chinese food and fish and chips. Go regularly. Either they are using different recipes now or under new ownership as the food has really improved.

Really impressed with the speed of the order. Arrived in 10 mins & the food was piping hot & delicious. Highly recommended.

We are still very reluctant about going out for meals because of Covid but it was our Diamond Wedding Anniversary yesterday and our son treated us to a really super meal. We have had food from Sizzling Wok before but the meal last night was really superb. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Food was real good, main issue I have is with the cashier, he is rude and has no interest in the customer, he has messed up my order on the last two occasions, overall great food but poor front of house

We called up on the spur of the moment and booked a meal for 5 people for a home delivery. They quoted 45mins to and hour and were spot on with this. I wished I could have paid by credit card but that is not allowed as its cash only? which you pay the driver. Anyway that was fine £51:10 was our total bill but we did have a very substantial selection and everything arrived piping hot and was absolutely delicious. If I tell you our order you will see that the price was very good....Chicken Chow Mein x2, Chicken Hong Kong Style, Chicken balls (12 off), Crispy Chilli Beef, Szechwan Chicken, Szechwan King Prawns x2, Egg Fried Rice Large, Curry Sauce, Sweet and Sour Sauce with a portion of chips. Genuinely all the food was excellent and I would find it very hard to complain about anything. We did have food left over and that will be eaten today.

Probably the best chips in Aldershot.. that's why I'm reluctant to review this place.. I want it to myself.. great Chinese food too

Usually the best fish and chips I've ever had, so I don't know what went wrong this time. The cod was very dry and the batter rock hard, Could not eat it. I placed the order at 4:30 it was delivered in a timely manner. It tasted to me that it was probably left over from lunchtime. Nowhere near the high standard we expect, just hope that this was a one off.

I live in Fleet but when my otherhalf and I fancy a treat, we will drive to Aldershot for this place. I have lived all over and no other Chinese/Fish&chip shop is anywhere near as good! Portion sizes are huge, food is delicious, nothing is too much to ask and the staff are just lovely! Will not go anywhere else!

For the price its not worth it would rather travel to North lane Chinese. Too expensive for what it offers

I ordered haddock and chips. I have not had better in the area. The chips were perfect and chunky, the haddock was perfectly cooked and the batter was light, just perfect. It is not particularly cheap but you get what you pay for. I repeat I certainly have not had better in the entire Farnham area. Highly recommended for fish & chips.

This was the worst I've ever had from here. It took 2 hours to come! No phone call or nothing mentioned about how long delivery was when i ordered. Chow meins was so greasy didnt eat them, currys was horrible best part was the fishcake. Really disappointed. Wont be going back.

had the lemon chicken which was pretty authentic. A dish that shouldnt go wrong and they did it well. was happy they split the sauce from the chicken in the box. this made sure that the chicken wasnt soggy when delivered.

Always had friendly service, and food is freshly cooked. Have seen reviews here of people complaining about time taken to cook - well I'd much rather have something freshly cooked and wait a little than it be so quick it must have come from a pan on warm up! So you've got it right Sizzling Wok! Fish is always cooked well too, and chips are good. Delivery is only slow at peak times and the only time an order was delivered incorrectly, the owner drove the correct item to us himself. A*

Use to be good. Now awful. Last incident, ordered chips with bread rolls. They delivered chip without the bread rolls and driver says I will bring them back. 30 mins later after all chips have gone we call sizzling wok to cancel the rolls and refund. We dont understand you, driver has left, may e we give you Discout next time. Useless

Good food, great variety to choose from, fish and chips to Chinese.

we have ordered from here numerous times & every time the food is fresh, non greasy & super tasty, one thing we also like is, the portion sizes are decent, we share a pot of noodles & veg between us and you have a proper full plate of food still, we normally collect as delivery from any takeaway take ages, collection normally take 15-20 mins depending on how busy they are. one of my faves, Chicken Chowmein, Broccoli in garlic sauce, stir fry veg and crispy chili beef. my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Fast service, food served hot, MUST TRY SPICY SINGAPORE NOODLES!!! the best and also really good sweet and sour chicken, will defo be coming back to try more well done guys!!!!!!!

Totally awful food. Wife and daughter went to the sizzling wok last night, which was a total waste of money as food was awful, chips tasted horrible, beef curry lack any taste it was very much like a cheap vista curry. My wife also did not like her food either as it was meant to be a chicken in a sauce but she had chicken in water again which lacked any taste, We are very unhappy with the quality of the food would not recommend the Sizzling Wok and will never use again, yuck. I have to give one star for the review but it not worth that.

I order fish & chips, chicken and rice and “ extra chips” to go with the chicken when I receive the delivery was not the extra chips that I order so when I phone them I ask where was the extra portion that I order they said I didn’t order extra chips I ask them if the chips comes with chips they answer yes so I ask where it’s the extra portion them the person on the phone start talking to the staff them he said he will send the chips, free of charge ( no free because I paid 1.80£ for regular chips ) ..after 5 mints they call me to said that they will no send the chips because I didn’t paid extra, I said I have the receipt then they said fish doesn’t come with chips, but the previous call they said comes with chips... I order the same menu before and was with chips and I paid extra portion and I got the extra portion... I will not order from you guys again plus take ages to get the delivery the staff on the phone was rude first they said something after 5 mints they change the history 👎👎👎

Ordered by phone for delivery. Family round for a great after a stressful week. Let the driver keep the change. Halfway through the meal the takeaway rings and starts shouting at me about a bottle of Coke I haven't paid for. I pointed out that I didn't order of receive any but she still kept shouting at me. I put the phone down, amazed at her attitude. The next day I went in to complain. Apparently, it was a different address that had the drink. She said she was going to phone but as I pointed out it was already past lunchtime and they hadn't bothered to say anything until I went in. Still she never apologised.

always ordered from here, food is always amazing but delivery times get later and later, said expected 20.05 (45 mins after ordering) then food was a further 40 mins later than that, we phoned twice to see where it was, every time was told it’s “5 minutes away” and then the lady claims it was because of traffic... at 9pm at night... no apology or anything from her. But on the plus side the delivery man was nice & did apologise when he got here.

It was tasty , but not sure the Special Fried Rice was that special. Curry sauce was tasty.

never ordered here before thought I would give it a try, food was really good, pleased with the service and delivered early.

Only recently moved to the area and had about 5 meals from here, all been very nice indeed , last night I ordered and they forgot to put the Hoi sin sauce in the bag absolutely no issues delivered it to me in 5 mins !! Top service would highly recommend 👍

Arrived later then expected. Would expect prawn crackers with a 40 pound order like the other takeaways give you. Won't be ordering again. Food ok

wow! we ordered fish and chips and a crispy chilli beef and egg fried rice, the fish was huge and nicely cooked, the chips were fresh and really good. the crispy chilli beef and rice was excellent. little oil in the Chinese food, and clearly the oil was clean to fry the fish and chips in! excellent.

Yummy fish and chips! Jumbo sausages are badass. Came early too which was a bonus! 10/10

food was late, contacted the restaurant to see where it was and they couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough! the delivery driver was brilliant however and was apologetic. the food was really really good so the only downside was the level of customer service from the restaurant. such a shame really.

Overall the food was okay. Generally flavours were subtle and not over seasoned. Quantity size was adequate for the price so a good "okay" rating all round. I do have a dislike of carrots and peas in Chinese food. It just feels too Caucasian.

You fish and chip are really frantic

We had read quite negative reviews about this place and had steered away from using it. Then about 10 days ago at our friends house they ordered up a takeaway form The Sizzling Wok and we all had a terrific meal. Then again as that meal had been so good we had family around on Sunday 2 Sept and again ordered up a sumptuous takeaway for 5 people. The delivery was a little slow to arrive but the food and quality was absolutely excellent. We all sat there tucking into a varied selection of mains etc and it all vanished which was a very good sign. No doubt we will order up another meal from here in the future. Our whole bill for 5 people was £52:70 and came out on my card as "Just Eat". Certainly worth giving it ago.

Had the set meal for 3 and everyone enjoyed it. Not the best I have had but not the worst either. Not being a local my friend said this had just reopened after a fire last year. Would I use again yes I would Hot tasty food for a Sunday evening tasted like it was cooked fresh to order.

I had to get it delivered after clicking collection as was my partner worked over time and they charged me £3 delivery although I'm 2 streets away! But I had the 3 children all chilled after there bath and pjs on so I didn't want to disturb them

first of all the driver knows my father and decided to discuss my order with him and sat in his car for 10-15 minutes while I was looking out the window. I feel this breaks some ethic code. when I called the business the gentleman I spoke to did not understand that I wanted to make a complaint.

Everything about my order was fantastic. The food was superb & the delivery time was spot on.. Five Stars..

Normally use a different delivery service but they are closed on Tuesdays. Sizzling Wok came on recommendation of a friend with quick service and decent food. Ordered online via their website - 55 mins later, nothing. No phone call, no email, bearing in mind it’s a Tuesday, I doubt they were rushed off their feet! I called up to chase the order, not an overly polite man on the phone who told me it would be another 10-15 minutes and hung up! 25 mins later - door knock - FOOD!!! Explained I wasn’t happy, driver said they are short staffed. Asked if he thought it was hard to pick up the phone and tell me that and that food could be 85 minutes. Reply was sorry! That’s it! Food was mediocre, will I rush back - NO!

food was tasty enough, but they missed one item off the order. Although it was delivered swiftly once I'd called them, it wasn't a great experience for our first order.
