New Golden Rice in Rushmoor

My usual Chinese spot! However, I was disappointed in the quality of my last order. The boxes were caked in grease, the sweet and sour Hong Kong style sauce had jellied, the prawn spring rolls were soggy and lacked flavour. The lack of sweet and sour sauce portion size was ridiculous. I’m hoping this was just an anomaly

I order from here every week and I’m 2 roads away but somehow these idiots take 2 hours to deliver to me

I ordered off Deliveroo a couple of days ago and got Crispy Chilli Beef, Prawns in Oyster sauce, Roast Pork Chow Mein and Sesame Prawn toast and it was all AMAZING! It wasn't too salty or sweet, it was just delicious and I can't fault it.

RUDE OVER THE PHONE. I ordered from Deliveroo but they still send the restaurant to drop my food off so I know to blame them. My order came to me with the sweet and sour sauce spilled all over the bag so there was none in the tub to eat. I call the restaurant to see if I can get another and the man over the phone was SO RUDE I told him what had happened and he just replied with “ok what do you want me to do“ bear in mind I paid over £40 for this order to have this man be rude. Won’t order from here again. HIRE NEW STAFF

Ordered food at 6.30 and still.not here at 8 15 phoned 3 times and told it was on its way!! Not happy

Ordered on just eat. Driver was quick to deliver. Sadly the chicken balls were doughy and the egg fried rice was slightly hard. The sweet and sour sauce is probably the best I've ever had though. Use to order regular but sadly will be the last time. Not sure what's happened with the quality?

Was the best chow mien I’ve had in a long time and were flexible in changing the set menu for me.

Food was cold, sauce leaked all over the bag

Main meal, chicken in black bean sauce tasted awful, chicken was not the best quality, very salty dish with an almost chemical taste.

Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. arrived 35 mins after the stated delivery time. Staff and driver had no idea. food was cold on arrival, after re heating it tasted terrible. If you want a takeaway dont ruin your night order from somewhere else.

Although the delivery was very late ( I did phone the restaurant, who then informed me that they were very busy....as a chef myself....I get it), the food was as always delicious. I will let them off the late delivery. Happy Christmas and a Fantastic New Year to you all x

Best Chinese delivery I have ever had. Amazing. Ordered crispy shredded beef which was crispy and not gooey. Chicken chow main which wasn’t greasy but delicate in flavour; and Hong Kong style chicken which was also crispy and a light sweet sour source. Always have so much hope but let down and don’t order Chinese again for months; but this was absolutely lovely. Will be ordering again in new year. Thank you

The worst Singapore Chow Mein I've ever tasted!!!! Instead of using curry powder and fresh sliced chilli, as it should be made, the chef drowns everything in chilli oil completely ruining any other flavours. Maybe send your chef down the road to Yumi Yumi for some lessons!! In response to your reply, I spent 2 and half year living in Hong Kong, namely Kwu Tung, Kowloon, and Tuen Mun, I ate in restaurants and from street food stalls all over Hong Kong and never tasted Singapore Chow Mein as bad as yours. You're right, you're flavours are unique, in so much as they're nothing like they should be!

Ordered through just eat. Food cold. Prawn balls dry and over cooked. Very salty. Chicken omelette was cold and salty too. Very disappointed will not use again.

Wonderful meal complements to chef , family really enjoyed everything and there was nothing left! Best Chinese in a long time would highly recommend

Food was quite nice but wrong food was derlivered! Ordered orange chicken and got pineapple. Ordered chicken with Satay sauce which was really looking forward to and got some other chicken dish but it was quite spicey for my liking so wasnt keen on it. Was disappointed! Was so hungry i didnt want ring up.

The How late was it option above doesn’t let you choose anything other than 5mins but it was way later than that. It should have arrived between 19:55-20:15 but actually arrived at 20:50. The app said it had been delivered at 20:35 and I rang Golden Rice to be told it would be another 10mins. Altogether, from point of order it took 1hr 40mins. Not happy

They said the food had been delivered, but I still hadn't received it. I chased the restaurant 3 times, as there was no info. on app to say it was on it's way.

First and last time I will ever eat from here. Ordered chicken satay with egg fried rice. Salt and pepper chips and prawn crackers. Chicken satay was the blandest I have ever had. Absolutely no taste what so ever. Chips were soggy and all the salt and pepper seemed to all be at the bottom of the packet I have no idea how you can mess prawn crackers up. Soggy and no crunch to them at all. Very disappointing considering I spent over £20 on it all. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the Uber delivery was good and on time.

This place is consistently really good. Food is good, lots of choice. Delivery a little bit slow but honestly if I was that bothered I’d go and pick it up myself. So for the luxury of having it delivered I just adjust my expectations and it’s worth the wait.

I originally left a 5 star review saying "Might be the best chicken and mushroom I've ever had". Well, after a year of using the place 2 or 3 times a month, it's just alright. Later on in the evening, a couple of hours before closing, they sometimes serve stale rice or rubbery chicken. Sometimes there's a very unusual and not especially pleasant flavour. So I use this place much less than I did a year ago, because the last few times it's been hot and miss. Also quite expensive, at £11 for a single portion of chicken with mushroom and boiled rice.

Our usual Chinese, but has the chef changed. Half our meal we couldn’t eat, luckily the kids liked their food after the wait time.

The food from here is outstanding! This is a local Chinese and can definitely recommend it. The food and delivery are always good. When we next get Chinese, It will be here. Thank you.

Been ordering here for a while and always been great, this time my order my messed up. Called them and they instantly rectified it and send a new order within 20 minutes. Great service and really appreciate! Will long continue to be a customer! Thank you!

The ‘app’ said our food was on its way, but it was another 20 minutes before it arrived. We are literally 5 mins from the takeaway.

Food is becoming tasteless every time we order. Lemon chicken had pineapple on it so was completely changed for some reason. Dumplings were disgusting, ordered fried but they were boiled and sticky instead. Won't be ordering again

I ordered food from here as seeing the reviews food was fine but my food was delivered half of them spilled in the plastic bag spending that much money on it to wat spilled food and delivery person just left the food and run away at least could’ve said sorry or apologise that food is been spilled on the way that would be understandable but he just run away disappointed

This has to be the first takeaway that I can honestly say was appaling. Dishes that had pieces of meat in (pork and the Duck) were so so dry and you couldn't even chew them, I had to excuse me in this but spit out chewed meat with the fear of it getting stuck in my windpipe, absolutely disgusting. I also ordered barbequed ribs which should be moist in BBQ sauce...I couldn't take 1 bite the meat was so hard again completely unedible. If I could give zero stars I would. AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY at all costs. The meat was most certainly not fresh. Appalling they have the nerve to send this food out to paying customers!!!

Always great food however their delivery updates are poor, status stayed at order confirmed until after delivery and was moaned at by the driver because he couldn't get through the gate, was 30 minutes early so we were unprepared for him to arrive.

The food never turned up! Had a call from the restaurant at which they never spoke back to me, I could just hear someone ordering in the back ground, so I went to the gate think my order had arrived and waited for 20 mins and nothing, and went back at the expected time of arrival and still nothing

Sweet and sour and spring rolls were fine but chow mein was bland and tasted burnt. Chips were dry and tasted like they'd been cooked hours ago, they also had a weird chemical under taste.

I used to order from them direct ; Just Eat adds at least £10 overall ; The was the worst order I’d ever had from there , maybe because it was a Sunday , normally their Hot n Sour is zingy , this was flatter than flat , the so called Spicy Special was bland and consistency was like a stale stew , no hint of any spice whatsoever, I’ll never order that again ; very very disappointed on this order today .

Excellent sweet and sour spare ribs, delicious sauce and clean fluffy rice with a lot of king prawns. Not many restaurants get this dish right, short ribs, onion and carrot etc but this is as good as the Iver Inn - but too far to travel to get a takeaway. I will be using this Chinese again. Recommended.

Wasn't delivered then told it was when my wife was outside waiting then they delivered a hr later than order time

I can't even begin to fathom how all the food was just rancid and soggy. I mean how on earth can you make spring rolls soggy. Its pastry it should be crispy. Absolutely abysmal won't order again.

The food was never delivered. It was a busy night and told us it was still being made so that’s fine I can understand. This is already 30 mins after it said it was delivered. I call again and been told it was now on the way. A whole 2 hours and still nothing. Very disappointed.
