What have u done used to be a nice Chinese food was cold the chicken ball was slimy and pork balls were rock solid nearly broke my tooth no meat on the ribs rice was dry and clumpy even the prawn crackers were disgusting won't be coming back

The most bland I've ever eaten. The fried pork balls were tasteless and the pork inside was tough The chicken and mushroom had zero flavor Unless you want everything boiled I wouldn't eat here

Good Chinese takeaway food. Usually quick service. Parking can be difficult at busy times.

Sweet n sour chicken balls , egg fried rice, chicken chow mein , curry sauce x lovely

Moved to the area in 1985 and have been going to Speedys all this time. Excellent! Check out yhe Singapore rice noodles & salt & pepper King prawns. The other favourite is sweet & sour chicken Hong Kong style.

Great place to get to reasonable price

Great food and the young English girl on the till was by a country mile the best and most efficient person I have ever met at a takeaway. So friendly, well done :-)

Tried again after the last times disappointing food and it really was just as bad. Really over cooked in very old oil. Chips so hard they could break teeth. Don’t know if under new management but clearly don’t know what they are doing. A sheet of paper stating a price increase and having it shoved at you (by someone who spoke English) was just so rude. Not worth the money

Normally enjoy a meal from here but today it was terrible. Didn’t get the sweet n sour sauce and the chicken balls were so over cooked they were not edible. The were like hard bullets that a sharp knife couldn’t cut through. Really disappointed

Ordered from here on New Year's eve. Ordering online was quite easy, except for confusing collection time, but a quick message to them and was sorted. Food was ready quickly. Very tasty and enjoyed by all. A bit pricey but no more than any other takeaway. Would definitely use again for a treat.

What's going on this used to be brilliant maybe ots just a bad week

I bought a meal from here for the first time in over 25 years on Saturday night because there was an hours wait at the Chinese takeaway I usually go to in Frimley. I was quite enjoying it until I put a spoonful of beef curry in my mouth and found it contained a long reddy- brown coloured hair in it! The remainder of the meal went in the bin and needless to say I will not be returning!

As expected, nothing different in the menu. I used this place for several years no dramatic change. Minimum charge is applied to cards. I am no fan of Chinese takeaway. The menu is the same regardless where you go.

Been here a few times and it’s been really nice. Today it was awful, prawn toasts were disgusting, didn’t even taste like prawn toast, crab claw was like jelly! Really disappointed, I don’t think we will use again.

Always enjoy a speedy's the salt and pepper chicken is lovely and they do a good curry sauce.

Great food from this takeaway,excellent service and friendly staff.We as a family use Speedy's for celebrating birthdays and anniversaries for you get great value for your money.There are other takeaways but we love Speedy's.

Chips are not nice, I know it's a Chinese but we just wanted some chips, so rating is for chips only, can't comment on their food as we go elsewhere for Chinese food.

Haven’t purchased from Speedys in a long time and won’t be again for a while. Portion sizes are much less than other restaurants in the area but prices do not reflect this. Food was nice but not great value for money

We recently moved to the area and even though there seem to be quite a few bad reviews about this Chinese, we thought we would try it anyway because it's only a few minutes walk from our house. I had king prawn curry and egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. My partner had chicken curry and egg fried rice. The whole meal was lovely. It wasn't the best Chinese, but far from the worst. We will definitely go back again

ordered the chinese chicken curry and boiled rice .not exciting but some food on way home after long day...the chicken tender but a pieces of sliced breast with some odd orange looking coating .completely tastless .the sauce a dark red unusual colour had zero taste or flavour and just packed with onion ..threw most in the bin absolulty horrible ..as an owner id get rid of your chef as soon as coz he def can't cook ..for sure will never waste 8 quid on such poor food .and can not reccomend at all

This is our local, we love it. You get what you pay for. Very good, however the rice can be very stodgy and the chicken can be greasy sometimes.

We used to use Speedys until we moved 23 years ago. The place is still the same good food for a reasonable price. I was going to give 4 stars, however there was very little sauce in the dishes (and I love sauce) so have marked it down to 3.

we have been using speedy for the past 20 years and today was very very bad it has been slipping for a while but today was the final straw ☹️ were to start omelette burnt taste ☹️ sweet and sour tasteless and thin in constantse☹️ prawn toast over cooked ☹️ chilly beef what chilly☹️ so not going back anymore ☹️☹️

I have used Speedys for over 20 years now and I have never been disappointed. They also do the only "sticky Kung Po" king prawn in the world as far as I know, its hot, spicy and very tasty, highly recommended.

Have been a customer for years no complaints food is hot and delicious and always ready really quickly .

We got a takeaway of quite a lot of food last night for a social night with friends. We had more than enough food and all the dishes were spot on would recommend this for a good Chinese takeaway

To be fair probably order from here once a month and must say so far no problems at all. Food is always hot and tasty and normally if you order by phone the time they tell you is time your food is ready.

We live near by so often grab something from here the food is always hot and even if it is busy you don't have to wait that long

The food in July was gorgeous, I've had food from here 4 times now and it's just not the same. The chips are hard, chicken tastes cheap, really disappointed!

Normally the food is decent. However if it's the chef's day off - the elderly Chinese lady who takes the orders does the cooking as she takes your order and dissapears for 10 mins. Her food is poor - watered down and horrible.

Tiendo a ir a otro lugar para conseguir mi chino, pero todo el mundo siempre alabanzas sobre este lugar y como soy local. . Pensé por qué no! La comida fue rápidamente preparado, y, sobre todo, bastante sabroso. . Sin embargo, a la mañana siguiente no estaba diciendo esto cuando mi cabeza estaba en el inodoro. Quizás una enorme coincidencia, pero que no haya enfermos en 15 años hasta mi primera experiencia de Speedy's. Seguro para decir que he sido disuadido de volver.

Have been using speedy for 18 months now and have always had a nice meal, parking can be an issue when they are busy, phone and order your food as they get really busy.

It baffles me that people rate this place. I've ordered from here twice. The food is so greasy it's disgusting! Everything tastes the same and its not good!

Speedys is a good little Chinese takeaway with Nice varied dishes, decent prices and good vegetarian options too.

Food is pretty good and you can always rely on getting it on time and it's all pretty tasty. Some dishes can be a bit greasy but overall its worth a try

Cooked to perfection. Never disappoints. Varied menu. Would recommend to anyone. The lemon chicken & special fried rice are really tasty. The batter on the sweet & sour prawns is perfect & the sauce is great. The pork chow mein was cooked perfect & was very nice. The prawn crackers are cooked very well & taste like they should. Finished off with a fortune cookie each.

Often visit speedy for a take out food ranges from average to very good reasonable price when compared to other Chinese take aways

Well slow service, rank food this place has nothing going for it, people tell me oh speedys must get take away from there,,,,,,you for real guys,,,,did think perhaps a bad night we all have them so went again and no had to throw over half the food in the bin....seriously don't bother

Poor quality, definitely not speedy and myself and my husband have both had very poorly tummies all day. We WON'T be returning.

If you like Chinese food this is not for you. It's your typical find anywhere poor quality rubbish.. But hay you get what you pay for..!!!

The food here is great. Typical range of dishes, but all very tasty and fresh. Friendly staff and pretty darn quick turnaround on your order.

We regularly order food over the telephone. Unfortunately they do not deliver, so you have to go and collect it. The food is always hot and tasty and you usually get some free prawn crackers, and (depending on the size of your order) some fruit shoots and fortune cookies. A tip - add about 5-10 mins onto the time that give you for collection to avoid a short wait in the shop.
