Food was off, putrid. so bad. no one should go here. unless death wish, or want to loose a lot of weight very quickly.

We booked the Firecracker Restaurant to celebrate my mother’s 70th Birthday. There was approximately 40 family members and we were given the main restaurant dining area. We had the option of choosing 8 dishes from the party menu and was allowed to bring cake and a few decorations. The manager and staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make our experience a Night to Remember. The staff were very helpful and offered their suggestions to make the night run smoothly. The food was amazing and plentiful with compliments from all family members. The entertainment was great and we ended up having a full blown party where people from other rooms came out to join in the celebration. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her night and will remember it forever. Thank you so much to the manager and staff at the Firecracker Restaurant for making my mother’s birthday special.

DO NOT GO HERE We booked the brunch - 90 minutes dim sum, drinks and karaoke. The restaurant opens at 12 does two 90 minute slots for this ‘offer’. But if you take the 1.30 slot, they don’t tell you before hand that the kitchen and bar shut at 2.10 - so you only get 40 minutes (you can stay in the karaoke pod for the whole 90 minutes - but will none if the promised unlimited drinks and karaoke) We left and won’t be back. At best, they are misselling. Unimpressive to say the very least.

I never received my order. It supposed to arrive at 9:40 and when i rang the restaurant I never had any response even if I tried many times. The delivery was postponed at 22:40 but there was no trace of my food. I spent more than £27 and didn’t get anything. I am expecting a full refund and an adequate compensation for the inconvenience and all that happened. Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Kind Regards, Giovanni Pinto

Visited Friday evening. Lovely Chinese and food was lovely. Recommend. Prawn Sui mai with scallops. Vegetable spring rolls lovely too. Mains of chicken Blackbean and chilli beef also lovely. There’s a bit of noise form party booths at times on side of restaurant but not too bad. Overall not too formal and not too informal. Just right for us. Would go again.

The meal was amazing, service was very good, the staff treated us very nicely and the hygiene and tidiness of the place was amazing in general. I would definitely recommend people to try out this restaurant.

We had an event of 50 people and we found the food, service, decoration and choice of karaoke songs really good. I would definitely recommend this as a fun and unique corporate event - it's a great icebreaker.

This nice Chinese restaurant located on Horseferry Road is about a block from the Lambeth bridge and is a little hard to find as a small down takes you downstairs to the restaurant. The food is good and plentiful.

I organised a karaoke night at Firecracker for a colleague and we had the best time! When booking the room and ordering the food, the staff were very responsive to my emails and really accommodating when we had to change the size of the room last minute due to drop-outs. When we arrived, we had been upgraded to a bigger room (whilst allowing us to keep to the minimum spend of the smaller room) which was a lovely gesture. The food was great and everyone was happy with it - a good range of both meat and veggie dishes. The facilities were nice with big tv screens and comfy sofa's. Great range of songs, so much to chose from! The staff were lovely and really accommodating. Would recommend as a karaoke bar, and we will hopefully be back soo for another event!

The Singapore noodles were very disappointing on this occasion. They use to be so good, not sure what happened. Today’s were tasteless and full of curry. Not what I expected. Everything else was great and it seems they have increased potion sizes which is great.

Very good Prawns in ginger and spring onion. Prawn toast OK Dim sum rather tasteless. Sesame Prawn toast on buns, not toast so carbohydrate ratio was high and not crispy. Chicken satay was dry and rather horrid

Quality service from a quality provider - food was excellent (as always) - and delivery was prompt (actually even a little early)! I'd made some special requests, all of which were honored and we had a delicious meal.

The first time my food wasn’t delivered after three hours. Had to call before they finally sent the food out for delivery. However, food was totally worth it. I have order three times now and the food is a delight. P.S the second and third deliveries were bang on time. So thumbs up

Went with group of friends, hired the large room with karaoke facilities. Service was friendly, food was tasty. As we were in a private room we had to order from either a set menu or party menu. We opted for the party menu and whilst the food was all very tasty, we only just about had enough for our party. Considering it cost £26 plus service I didn't think it was great value. Great quality chinese food and good portion sizes! The price for what you get is really good! You could easily get 2 dishes for the price of 1 from a restaurant closer to Victoria station!  Love the noodle dishes and the chicken katsu curry!

Vi var ett sällskap på 7 personer som bokat en eget rum, där det då ingår karaoke, Vi valde meny A som bestod av många goda smårätter av kinamat/thaimat. Vällagat och mycket gott och rikligt. Bra service av "egen" servitris som kom med dryck, dukade av och hjälpte till under kvällen.

Not really impressed, expensive for what it was, and the food was not very hot. Best thing was the plum sake which was very nice.

The bento box lunch here represents very good value - for £9.95 you get a good selection from the set menu. the food is tasty and service is fast and friendly - the only problem is the booking system. when you are taking a large team out they want you to book and pre-order your selection. You can only book online using the form on the website - response is not always very fast and no good for same day booking. So whilst the restaurant is good, the head office function could be a little more slick...

We went to the restaurant without reservation, we founded a place and probably we got the best meal on London. Congratulations to the chef. Probably the waitress could be better.

A very rude middle-aged fat woman received us. She is an Asian woman who can speak Chinese but refused to say it. She might be the female boss of this restaurant. She told us that she does not like do Chinese people’s business, which means that this Chinese restaurant does not welcome Chinese. (The reason is that the KTV in this restaurant has a minimum spending of 210 pounds. She wanted us to pay 210 pounds but did not want to provide us with 210 pounds of food.) This is very ironic. I think she may be too inferior, too despising herself. In addition to discrimination, the food is not fresh and the sound quality of KTV is so unbelievable that it seems to be a sound device decades ago.

Firecracker suffers from the quadruple whammy of being over priced and soulless whilst proving terrible food and somehow even worse service. 5 of us went for a quick work lunch and were treated with such disdain by the staff, that we will never be going back. The general manager needs a personality transplant.

I recently went there with my girlfriends as they had arranged a 50th birthday surprise for me. We had a booth that can accommodate up to 10 people, we had a Karoke to ourselves in the room. The food was pre ordered so arrived on time, food was tasty if you like Chinese food. Wasabi prawns are worth trying.

As a rare lunch out, the Firecracker was a good pick. Was impressed at the speed and tastiness of this meal. Had a bento box with tofu only complaint rice was not sticky enough for my chopsticks. The place was packed and was getting busier and busier.

This restaurant was close to our hotel and we ordered take away. The dim sum was good! Our food had good flavor. The green beans were delicious and had a little kick to it. I wanted to try the tum yum soup but it was sold out! Must be good! We would eat here again

But the rest is average. The service is pretty poor but the bento boxes are good value and not bad quality food.

I’m sure the food in the restaurant is ok, but when delivered via UberEats it’s an absolute state. I paid £30 for the tiniest portion of dry, over cooked pork belly and a duck and noodle dish which wasn’t packed properly (by the restaurant) so spilt everywhere in transit. The food was mediocre, extremely salty, to the point where I just threw it away.

Went with a friend who had been raving about this place for weeks. The wings were great but the squid was over cooked and rubbery. The staff was rude as we wanted to change the noodles on the mains. I dont think i would go back to be honest.

I only order from the Firecracker as this place never disappoints with the quality of food. Therefore, I recommend to order from this restaurant because the food really is delicious. However, it is quite expensive but it is worth the price.

14 of us went to celebrate my birthday. We had one of the private rooms with karaoke. It was so much fun and the food was amazing!

Popped in here for dinner, its a bit daunting as its a dark basement but the food was very good, nice dim sum and a decent Thai Green Curry. Fine if you are staying nearby, but i wouldn't travel to specifically eat here.

Comida (y servicio) era principalmente genial; el único inconveniente fue el pato de mam con fideos crujientes tenía una patada de Chile. No mencionar el plato contiene chili en la descripción del menú. Aparte de eso, genial.

Pasamos este restaurante en el camino a la Tate Britain. Nos pareció que le permite tener un almuerzo rápido antes de enfrentarse a las pinturas de los impresionistas joven. El menú parecía buena, variada. Mi esposa y yo pedimos diferentes cajas Bento. Desde la descripción en el menú parecía la comida habría muchos gustos diferentes.

It’s usually really hard to find a venue that matches great food with karaoke but Firecracker manages it. We have held parties there a number of times for numbers up to 40 people and the food is outstanding. There is a wide variety of options and the prices are reasonable for both food and drink. It also manages to cater for numerous groups simultaneously, without getting in each other’s way. This is really important for those less confident singers. Thank you

Went to this restaurant with a group of friends. The food was good, but on paying there was a dispute with the staff. They made no attempt whatever to help resolve it. Most definitely do NOT go here, unless you want a stand up row after you have eaten.

Had a great Friday night at Firecracker with plenty of fun and singing the night away. To be quite honest the restaurant is nothing special and so is the food. But the whole package makes this place quite unique in this part of London. They have private rooms of various size with Karaoke and they offer a set package including generous portions of food and karaoke. For a group of 8 and above is £24 p/p. A carafe (serves about 8) of alcoholic cocktail mix is 24£. They’ve a great selection of songs and the service is excellent. All together a good place for a fun night out.

We ordered takeout from this place and the food was a joke. I've never seen a restaurant offer such sorry looking food. Our Tom Yum soup was nothing but questionable broth with one single prawn and the veggies were slimy MSG covered goo. The rest of the food smelled oily and unappetizing. I would never ever recommend this place or eat their food. We threw everything in the trash.

The food is disgusting, sticky, viscid and honestly gross. the seafood was uncooked, the "crispy noodles" are just a bunch of uncooked noodles with aspic.

Really good quality food for a great lunch with colleagues. Thoroughly enjoyable and excellent value for money.

Excellent food, and clearly restaurant quality. One small complaint though: the food wasn't particularly warm when it got to us (despite being delivered early and us not living all that far away from the restaurant). But certainly the best takeaway we've ordered in a long time. Highly recommended!

I visited this place with some work colleagues for lunch.The atmosphere is pleasant and the décor unobstrusive. The service wasn't rushed. We all went for a bento box, first time for me. And I was surprised at how much you got. I reckon it is good value. The food was tasty and you get a decent choice. We all came away feeling well fed and would visit again. The service was prompt but they didn't hover. They were sufficiently in the background but available when needed. I would recommend it for a decently priced lunchtime meal.

We got takeaway from Firecracker via Uber Eats. When the food arrived, it was extremely plain. Nothing interesting, cold, no utensils, etc. We ate it, but for the price there are much better options.

I absolutely love the Firecracker. I work in the area and so have been a few times over the years. My most recent visit was for a colleague’s leaving karaoke/drinks.The food is consistently good, and is very well priced. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The karaoke set up is fantastic, which when compared to other karaoke venues, is very reasonably priced. We had such a great time that it’s highly likely that we will be back for Christmas celebrations.

Stopped here for lunch with some work colleagues and was pleasantly surprised. It's underground so a bit dark for daytime but the food and service were good. We all had Bento boxes (a mix of 5 dished plus soup) which were excellent value for £9.95. Portions are not large but more than adequate for lunch. Service was efficient. Will definitely go back.

Worst green curry I think I've ever had. Chicken satay consisted of very poor, fatty chicken. I like that the restaurant offered a wide range of food options, but clearly it can't walk the walk. Simplify the menu and get it right.

What a great experience we had at this restaurant. My daughter and I were visiting London and got tired of eating fish and chips and steak and ale, so we decided to try this place as we love this type of food. Place was not overly crowded, but we did make a reservation, and to our surprise the karaoke booth they had surrounding the restaurant were very sound proof. The only time you heard the music and singing was when someone exited their room. But, it was not bothersome, but a fun atmosphere and was nice to see so many people enjoying themselves with their groups. The best part was the food itself, it was exactly what we were looking for and it was better than expected. Very pleased we chose this place for our dining experience after all the english pubs we had visited.

It was Sunday. Our cooker broke. We are 4 in the family. My teenagers were craving for hot chinese food. I said thank God there's Deliveroo! Never realising that this will be my last booked delivery from Firecracker. I just want to say how disappointed and annoyed I was with our order. First, I thought the price is unreasonably expensive. I paid £40 for 4 items inc. Delivery charge of £2+ for a meal worth for one person and the food quality was so dry. Just one thing I've learned: Never again.

I'd been here for lunch and the food and service was lovely. As such I tried to book our team do. The booking system is stupid. I submitted the enquiry and heard nothing back within 24hr. So I called the restaurant directly and they said all they can do is send an email to the reservation team. I asked if they can book me in and they said only the reservation team can do it. What? I said would I get an update within the next hour. She told me depends how busy the reservation team is. Seriously? I told them if I don't hear from them then I will need to book somewhere else. She then responded saying yes, I should book somewhere else. WOW. I don't know who is the customer here.

I received a very nice call from the restaurant shortly after I made my order and the lady on the phone was very polite. The food arrived in good time and was really, really good. The soups blew me away. The family also share the same opinion as everyone was pleasantly full.

It was our first night in London, and we were jet lagged. Firecracker was perfect! Our server recommended the pepper beef hot stone pot, and it was one of the best Chinese meals I've had. The tom yum soup and hot and sour soup were also terrific. It was so good that I may eat there again tomorrow night!

Duck pancakes are tasty and the prawn is toast is delicious. Highly recommend these . As it is a karaoke bar, expect some hilarious tunes from adjoining rooms but god for a catch-up with friends

My friends and I go to this karaoke Chinese restaurant every couple of months. We have always had lovely hospitable service from the staff there but we went this week and all that has changed. We were met with no welcome other than the manager lady saying she would be telling us the 'rules'. She then proceeded to read us a briefing which threatened what would happen if any if us broke anything and went on for about ten mins. Clearly they have had some sort of recent incident but that's no excuse for treating guests like this. It was like being at work! You rent the karaoke rooms till 11 and have always previously settled up at the end. This time she came in and insisted it was paid an hour before we were finished. She also tried to overcharge which I think was a genuine mistake but people should check their bills carefully here. They called last orders at 2220. Made it very clear they couldn't wait for us to leave. Not used to being paying customers made to feel like an inconvenience. Like I said, don't know what's gone on there but they will lose custom if they keep this up. We won't be going back. A shame. We used to love that place.

This is close to Westminster and the Abbey on Horseferry Road. Has a good quick lunch menu but we were there for dinner. You can have Dim Sum as starters all day as well as some bigger plates. The chicken with black bean sauce is divine, comes in a sizzling pot with a smoky flavour. The special rice dishes were also good. Sake (hot or cold) and Chinese or Japanese beer are all available. This is a local and a regular haunt. Very good.

Restaurant gave a time of an hour but delivered within 30 minutes. Food was all there, nice and hot and tasted great. Can't complain at all.

Had a 25 persons room for my family and friends to celebrate my birthday and we had tons of fun! the food was decent and had a very good selection of music for us RnB lovers. Drinks could be ordered from the bar and the food bill was split after! Service was great! Cheryl and her colleagues were lovely and understanding, it was a shame we had to leave at 11pm closing time so make sure you use the time wisely!
