First time I’ve found a Chinese takeaway with proper options since going plant based and it blew me away. Everything was delicious, ate myself into a food coma. So good, I had to do it again the following week. 10/10 will come back once the food coma subsides.

I've used lis for years but last night all the food was good I collected but the chicken balls were so small for some reason. Stop being tight guys the pot of sauce was huge but nothing to dunk in it 😒

First time ordering from this takeaway. Despite some mixed recent reviews, we had a very positive experience. Online ordering was easy, food was delivered well within time slot, complete order arrived, food was all hot and tasty. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Absolutely appalling service!! Great food, but you need a new delivery driver! We are loyal customers, but we had to call twice to chase up the order. Took 2 hours and 10 minutes to deliver. When we told the driver it was a long wait he laughed at us and didn’t care at all. Very disappointing guys. Your chefs are fantastic and the food is 100% great and delicious, but we are so unhappy, I doubt we will be returning. Mrs H.

Avoid this place up all night with horrible thirst packed with MSG tasteless

DO NOT order your Chinese from here. Absolutely dreadful. Spent nearly £70 and we are all still hungry as most of it is in the bin. In general the food was bland and tasteless , chips dry and chewy, mini pancake rolls didn’t have hardly any filling, sweet and sour veg consisted of water chestnuts and mushrooms only, egg fried rice was just plain rice with a bit of egg thrown in and had definitely not be cooked together as it should be.Crispy beef was soggy as completely covered in sauce! Salt and pepper chips no flavour at all. I did call shop to complain and tell them I was leaving a 1 star review but apparently nobody was available to talk to me. Customer service on a par with the food then. Only thing that tasted ok were the fortune cookies! Only used this Chinese as our usual one was shut for their new year celebration. This experience has made us realise just how good the food is at Full House on Seaview Road and definitely won’t use anywhere else in future.

Appalling customer service !! order through at 6.15pm. Told to allow 90 minutes for delivery. Had not arrived at 8.15pm so called for update. Told just waiting for delivery driver to return and then would be delivered to us. I asked for 50% reduction as this would be well over an hour layer than esrmtimated time. NO REDUCTION WAS OFFERED !! Cancelled order.

Best vegan Chinese food I've tasted...I ordered the vegetarian chicken satay, fake meat ovvs, but was so good I had to stop eating it to make sure it wasn't chicken... And I'm not one who eats fake meat regularly, but the texture was real good, but rhe winner for me was the satay sauce...Best one I've tasted in a long time... flavour... then I ate my veg rice noodles... with rhe rest of the satay sauce... delisious... Will be going back , to try something else... and no belly ache or adverse toilet conditions... thank you very much ... oh and decent size portions.... ♥️😊👍👌

Order and pay for cashew nuts....they don't include them. Specify no mushrooms...they put them in. Basically they don't care what you order and give you whatever they want. Never again.

The food is absolutely beautiful, not oily like other Chinese takeaways shops I have tried. Delivery is prompt and those that work on the shop are always smartly dressed, the whole shop exudes cleanliness. Always a totally delightful experience and one I'm always happy to repeat. Would definitely recommend this place.

We've used Li's for a few years now. Mainly because the menu choice is good for vegetarians and the food is usually good. However, as most of the reviews say, the delivery time is atrocious!! We live 10 minutes away from the restaurant and even on a week night we have to wait at least an hour for our food. On occasion we've had to wait over 2 hours. Tonight, Thursday night, was no different. We ordered 2 chow mein's. Took almost 2 hours. Sadly we won't be using them again. It is now time to find a new Chinese takeaway. Such a shame.

We order a Chinese from you last night (Saturday) and was told the order would take around 1h 15mins to 1h 30mins. This actually arrived 3 hours later!! To which are guests had already left!. If we was advised the 3 hour wait we would have not ordered. Needless to say the majority of our order ended up in the bin! When I called and explained this the girl seemed to not be Intrested in the slightest. I am VERY disappointed in this service. I tried emailing my complaint and was u delivers as the mailbox was full!!

We've been ordering from Li's for a number of years now as they have the best menu options for vegetarian alternatives. Whilst the food quality has always been great, the online ordering system, delivery time and customer service have been unacceptable the last 3 times we've ordered. This week we placed our order for delivery online and 90mins later we hadn't received our food or any updates on its status. I called the restaurant and it was clear that they couldn't find our order, didn't know if it was ready or not and then backtracked by telling us it was waiting for collection by the driver when it seemed like they had forgotten it altogether. When the food arrived almost two hours after we initially placed our order it was great, but somewhat overshadowed by the incredibly long wait time and terrible online system/customer service

Great food but rude staff on front desk, I would recommend that the young lady on the serving desk learns customer service skills and manners. But on the plus side a1 top quality food

This place has the biggest and very good selection of vegetarian options which is amazing. Most places have a small selection if any and this restaurant has a huge selection. I have been going to this place for years. Though their delivery sometimes is not great, the food is and would highly recommend.

I highly recommend this amazing takeaway restaurant, it is definitely my favourite. They are making very tasty food, they are modern and creative, and their drivers are friendly. You must try them and you will not regret.

This is our favourite local Chinese takeaway. They have an easy to order website. Parking on the road outside easing collection. Chicken Chow Mein is yummy, but my favourite are the honey ribs - delicious!

Have used this takeaway for over 9 years and it’s consistency is bar-none, absolute perfection every single time! The Veggie chicken is amazing!

Edit: A small note - The website and google advertises that it's open till 11pm. Unfortunately after passing by at roughly half past ten it was completely dark and there were two staff inside about to leave. Speaking from self-experience, I understand that on quieter nights you begin cleaning and packing up earlier to save time, but it's a real shame to completely shut well before advertised opening hours. Hopefully the website simply hasn't updated yet... it's still a great takeaway nonetheless. Original: Had the Pad Thai, Dumplings, Pork Balls and Kung Po Chicken and it was excellent. Tasty and plenty of it and I recall their veggie stuff being good too. Everything in reusable tupperware which is also cool and enough prawn crackers to feed a small family. I can't speak for the delivery or the website as we ordered in-person.

It is rare indeed, even in this day and age, to come across a food retailer with such unbelievably low moral standards. They will happily take your money without any capacity to fill your order in anything close to an acceptable time. They will then lie to you repeatedly. Your money, your choice.

Went into the shop & ordered. Seemed nice & clean until i stood at the right of the shop & watched staff get food out the back. Wet boxes on the floor containing food. Should be refrigerated as room temp & floor causes contamination & sickness. My veggie dish tasted of meat, like its all cooked in same oil. Made me sick. Would rather starve. Had to give 1 star to put review but wouldn't have bothered.

Always beautiful, won't eat a Chinese takeaway anywhere else. I have egg fried rice with duck in plum sauce. My partner and my son have chicken balls, chips and chicken chow mein. Always an amazing meal.

Ordered online and have been waiting nearly over 2 hours for the delivery. Tried to call to find out only to get hung up on. I understand it can be busy at times but at least answer your phone and explain! Food cold when it finally arrived.

Second time now the online order has been lost. Ordered food 4 hours in advance and nothing arrives until you phone to find out what’s happened. Utterly hopeless.

We used to love this place. Last night we ordered dinner. It contained mussels. And few hour later both of us haven’t been well. Have been sick all night and still in the bed now.

I have eaten chinese takeaway food from many places over the years. However I have to say Li's are pretty amazing and are certainly up amongst the best of them. With a modern and very clean shop and a nicely layed out menu, friendly staff and awesome food I have to say you wont be going wrong ordering food from here. Keep up the good work guys 👍

Ordered takeaway for collection. Ready in 30 minutes. Excellent food and reasonably priced. The Chicken satay and crispy duck were amazing. We will use this place again.

Amazing! Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Lots of veggie options (I’m not sure if they’re vegan but I hope so) I’d recommend the veggie duck chow mein and the veggie chicken balls. And my dad was very happy with his crispy duck. It took just over an hour to arrive which I thought was very good considering the distance we live away. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Our new favourite takeaway! Thank you

Ordered at 5.50pm told it would be 45mins to an hour.....one hour 20mins later it arrived the curry was cold and I received the wrong rice. NOT IMPRESSED Wouldn't recommend, it's not the first time this has happened but it will be the last.

For some reson today i don't know if different on other days but they seem not to care about covid at all no one wareing face masks covering only there chins not on mouth or nose shop full of people waiting for there food feels very uncomfortable i believe they should limit the amount of people in the shop and ask people to wait outside they gave me to much change when i questioned it was not instant they realised that £10 to much was given i was honest will see if food is hot and clean or not

I ordered a Chinese from Li's on Saturday 20th March (my Birthday) for an evening meal. The food took 2 hours to arrive and the order was wrong. I called the takeaway and was told that they could not deliver the correct meal and they would refund the price of the incorrect item. the main course. Very disappointed. ruined the experience. the food was below the standard of Yum Yum the original owners of the takeaway. I don't recommend trying their food. Andrew - Poole

Vegetarian delight! I have been veggie for 10 years and this is the best Chinese I have tasted in that time - take away OR restaurant! SO MUCH CHOICE! Not subjected to the normal boring stuff, I had a banquet! Perfectly cooked! SO tasty! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE HIGHLY ENOUGH!

Amazing vegan and vegetarian options

We have order takeaway worth £50, after waiting two hours for the food to arrive, we were missing items and a vegan soup that was ordered was instead a chicken and prawn soup! Very upset and disappointed! If a food requirement is requested it should be upheld with the highest regard ! A vegan option that instead was replaced with a chicken and prawn option is not okay.

Order this evening was looking forward to my Chinese the driver arrived I gave the drive a £20 note and he just walked away no change was given so called them and was told there is nothing we can do and would have to call back tomorrow just wow

Would of previously highly recommend this place but it would seem that greed of taking peoples money is more important then their customer service. Waited over 3 hours for a delivery with no hope of getting though on the phones as diverted to a mobile that goes straight to voicemail?? Decide to drive up to them to see chaos with people chasing orders or people coming to collect but not even coked. Made to wait till they find my order which all they knew was still there not if it was ready to send or not. Then an hour later it’s ready to go?! Many times they mentioned they had too many orders come in. Happy to take peoples money it would seem.... perhaps turn your ordering system off next time or perhaps up grade your system as your not exactly a quiet Chinese anyway!

They ruined our New Year Eve! They take orders on their website, which says you have to wait 90min for delivery. We waited 90 min and nothing, so I gave them a call and guess what? They not even open but the system confirms orders. You couldn't even live a voicemail because is full. Lots of people in same position I guess. It's too late now to order 9.30pm from a different place...

Don't bother. Firstly they wanted 2.5 hours for delivery. Said ok as we ordered early and its peak new year's eve. 3 hours later, no food and phone is either engaged or straight to voicemail. Can't get through to anyone. What a let down.

New Years Eve Been coming to this Chinese since 2011, Delivery has never been great time wise but as the food is great we have never moaned when its taken 1-2 hours before. I thought this year I would hopefully avoid this and pre ordered via the app at 12:30pm .I ordered for 6.30pm. Nothing arrived and I waited till 7:30pm before trying to phone them.Took me 47 attempts to get through and was then told my food would arrive at 8:30-8:45pm. Nothing came then either so....another 30 odd calls got through and they guy said they hadn't even prepared mine and it would come at 10pm!! What a shambles and a new years eve ruined. I challenged them on this and and asked why they are taking on so many orders if they cannot cope.Everyone knew for a while more people would be home this mew years so either prepare better or limit orders. If O was told via email or phone 'sorry can't do it' then fair enough but 3-4 hours later is a disgrace. I asked for a refund at this point

Best vegan Chinese takeaway I've ever had. So many options available and I definitely don't feel like I'm missing out on a Chinese takeaway as a vegan when we order from here. It's become my favourite Chinese of all time. Highly reccomended.

Favourite Chinese takeaway. One of the main things we've missed since moving away from Poole. Occasionally drive out for it as it's still worthy of a 50 mile round trip! We are definitely missing a Li's in Dorchester way if they ever feel like branching out!

Sort your chips out , there really horrible, chips should be light crispy and golden and able to travel for five minutes without turning into mini concrete blocks

Have been sent veggie items with meat twice in error now. Today was chicken in the veggie satay, there was even a piece of gristle! (Beans aren't that realistic!) Tried to argue that it was veggie. Avoid if you are vegan or veggie as too risky you may get given meat.

Always order from Li’s when we want a treat! Definitely our go to for the past 6 years that we’ve lived in Parkstone and have ordered countless times! Quick and friendly delivery 😊 food was hot and delicious as always! My partner is a vegetarian and always so impressed with their menu and the many different options available for him. I always go for a Singapore chow mein and it’s always filled with a great variety of tasty meats! Love that the containers are always filled to the brim, often meaning I’ll have enough to enjoy as leftovers the next day 😋 Thank you to the team for great service and saving us many a time when we’ve been too tired to cook or had a tough day!

We used to really enjoy takeaways from here but it’s terrible now, half cooked spring rolls, things missing from our order and a pot of sauce only half full. I don’t know if the chef is new but it is absolutely dire. Our advice is try somewhere else.

It has come to my attention that you are still using my family’s name and telling customers we’re under the same owner. WE ARE NOT! ((My father is the one who opened this shop first before opening our current shop (Li’s in Northbourne// Kinson which is ran by the Li Family) after our last name ‘Li’. He sold this shop off to you and you kept our family name which we asked you to NOT KEEP!!)) To all customers, this Li’s takeaway is no longer owned by the Li Family! We sold this over 10 years ago and the current owners has decided to keep my family’s name. You have told my customers that we’re under the same owner which is clearly not true. They have asked me why the food is different and why delivery was much slower here! I had complaints saying that your customer service and food is poor. Please do not tell customers that we’re connected because we are not. Providing bad service is a disgrace to my family and our name. My family owns the Li’s in Bournemouth on Wimborne Road which is ran by the Li’s family. We no longer own this Li’s and it is definitely not ran by any Li family. I did not want to complain but you are telling customers that we are under the same owner is unacceptable! This confuses many customers which is not right! The Li’s family wants to make sure customers are satisfied with their meal which you are clearly not doing to your customers. You have long delivery wait which you don’t tell customers and that is unacceptable. Customers, if you had a bad experience here please don’t be afraid to try Li’s in Bournemouth owned by the Li family, we want to make sure every customer is satisfied with their meal, we tell our customers the truth and not lie about our delivery wait (which definitely not 2 hours!!) We have contacted you as you also stole what Daily Echo has said about US - Li’s in Bournemouth, Wimborne Road. You have used this in your ‘testimonial’ on your website. This makes customers assume that this Li’s is still owned by my family (which is not) yet you’re telling everyone we are!! We have reached out to you yet you ignored us and kept it up. We would appreciate if you stop deceiving and telling customers we’re under the same owner. Thank you.

We used to order to from here occasionally and it was always good. Tonight was very poor. Chow mein was bland. Salt and chilli beef was tiny and more chilli's than beef and not great atall. . And you'd expect free prawn crackers with a £25 order. I gave a star because the chicken balls were actually pretty good.

Excellent Chinese takeaway. Food arrived on time, prebooked at 6pm and arrived when I wanted it at 8.20pm. We ordered all vegetarian dishes and they were simply superb. We honestly couldn't tell it was not real meat. Pretty sure the chicken balls were vital wheat gluten seitan and they were sublime. The veggie smoked chicken was wonderful. The portions were perfect for 2 people sharing but if you were 3 or 4 people you would need to order two portions. The only chinese I know with veggie options. Very satisfied. Well done Mr. Li. Will be ordering again in the future.

We down to Poole from London, we have loads in our area, but not as great as Li's Chinese takeway. It was an outstanding dinner take away. We had prawn crackers, shredded chili beef, special fried rice, king prawns hong kong style and chili wings, paid £26 for all. Will be back, highly recommend

We've had food delivered from here many times, never had any problems, even when I ordered the wrong thing they went out of their way to bring me what I was supposed to have ordered. The food is always lovely and the vegetarian menu is amazing.

I ordered food paid for it and it didn't even come.I rang the shop and they said it wad on its way and then didn't pick up the phone terrible service
