The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South Somerset South West

Daughter brought take away home and I had a chicken curry and some prawn crackers. Never had such tough chicken and the prawn crackers weren't crispy just hard. Will go back to Danny's Garden in future.

We were staying in a local b and b and had a take away from here. Order was very quick. Hot and fresh. Would go back again if in the area.

Really pleased with the meal we ordered. Arrived early and taste good. Thank you as had a bad experience in the past at a different restaurant.

Easily the best takeaway in the area! Food is cooked fresh to order and you can tell, very generous portions good value for money. Also good options for people with allergies, friendly staff. Would recommend!

Having used this establishment for few years was disappointed when placing a small upon collection was told in card payment was £12 no cash on me and having used them for many years was told no go ?? .ost my dinner and they lost valuable customer for ever

the Honey Spiced Chicken is really nice only sometimes the chicken is a bit tough(overdone) so tasty though have to put up with it.

Regularly order from Busy Bee, but noticed the food quality/ taste had deteriorated. Ordered tonight & don't know if there is a new Chef, but the quality & taste was fantastic with all we ordered. Please keep the standard 🙏 👍

We have been ordering from Rick Shaws for a number of years even though we live in Castle Cary and happy Chinese takeaway nearby because their food has always been better but the takeaway that was delivered tonight was way under their usual standards. Most most of it was fine and no circumstances Order their peking duck which was frankly one of the worst I’ve ever had with bits of dried and overcooked meat what made it worse? Was whoever put that meat into the takeaway package knew that it was substandard and didn’t bother to worry. I will consider this a one off blip and continue to order from them, but definitely not the duck LOL

We had an amazing meal from Ichi Tong last night. We ordered several dishes (all large portions) and would highly recommend any of them to others. There was nothing we would not order again. Try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed,

Really good value. Delivery fairly fast. Nice food. Wish i could pay card when placing online order as i dont always have cash on me but thats life. Was very happy with the food though and will be back.

Haven't had a Chinese takeaway for a while, thought we would order from the Mandarin as heard food was good? The delivery turned up in the time given, but first of all the free prawn crackers were soft and all the beef in the curry both for my husband and myself was really chewy and didn't have much flavour, all in all very disappointed

I’ve only ever eaten food from this place twice and will never again. Tiger Chan 20 seconds over the road is infinitely better. The order consisted of crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour beef honk kong style, ribs, egg fried rice and a started selection. The sauce in every dish was exactly the same. The crispy chilli beef was so crunchy it made my jaw ache and my gums sore. The spring rolls were soggy and not very nice, the crispy seaweed in the starter selection was alright to begin with but at the bottom was sodden with sugary/salty mush. Honestly it was all a colossal letdown. Not to mention there was a baby out the back screaming and crying I can only assume in the kitchen? Not a place for a baby! And to top it off they get awfully upset when you tell them you don’t have cash and the cash machine is broken. They very reluctantly take card. This SCREAMS tax evasion. Just avoid this awful place at all costs for god sake. Tiger Chan is so much better in every way.

Food was very delicious, delivered on time, hot, fresh, fantastic meal!! Highly recommended.

Wow my wife’s was so salty she couldn’t eat it and my chow mein was dried up and the meat was burnt terrible Went in the bin AVOID
