Order from here twice monthly for a treat. However recently it’s been absolutely awful. The food is stale. Been giving the wrong dishes/ dishes being missing. Call up to see about this, and get given no response. Absolutely disgraceful will be going elsewhere from now on.

Prawn crackers are stale No sauce which was paided for And completely different dish I order twice a month from here and now will be looking to go else where

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had…..chow mein noodles sticky and clumped together as was the rice, crispy beef chewy and dry, lemon chicken and sweet and sour sauce radioactive!…they say you get what you pay for…..this was a cheap Chinese that tasted like it was two days old and microwaved…..never again!!!

4.5miles get charged £6 Delivery. Appreciate they need to cover their miles. Last few times we've ordered delivery, have had to ring to ask where it is, 2hrs! Never get a 'sorry for delay' think we will be looking elsewhere...

Gave me different food than I actually ordered and terrible and really rude service. The food took an really long time. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes when they said it would only be 5 or 10 minutes.

ordered online for delivery and couldnt be more impressed. we normally go for another chinese takeaway but will opt for wah ying in future! food was 10/10, arrived way quicker than expected and even got free spring rolls and prawn crackers. defo our new go to!

Wah ying is the best Chinese in yeovil can't beat it in my eyes they never fail and will always compensate hugely if they ever do mess up which is basically never lol I didn't get paid to leave this comment just took the time outta my day to say how nice thier food is and there staff are really helpful thanks wah ying house

We had a delivery from here this teatime. This is the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had, it was all absolutely delicious 10/10. We would definitely recommend this takeaway to all, the food arrived on time, lovely and hot and the delivery driver was polite snd friendly. Always used Way ying house for Chinese take away the food is very good however the front of the house looks a real dirty mess, it does make me wonder what the kitchen is like. We are looking to change our take away as the front of house has put us off. Way ying house you need to tidy and clean it up as this is the first impression for the customer.

Ordered in the takeaway at around 11pm, very friendly and the food was really good. They weren't stingy on roast pork either. Great price too.

My partner and I regularly order from Wah Ying House. The food is always amazing. The best ingredients used every time. Delivery is always quick and never left wondering if we've been forgotten. Food is piping hot on arrival, and we've never have to reheat anything. I would definitely recommend 👌 😋 I can't understand the bad reviews that I've come across on Google. This really is the best Chinese in town. 👏👍😋

Never again. Food was hot and delivered on time but was so greasy that neither of us could finish our meal. What I did eat was awful.

Our usual takeaway is closed until 20/01/2023 so I consulted the menu that had been recently delivered by Wah Ying. I ordered the same as I would have from the usual. Sorry usual, this food was so amazing! We will be ordering from here now. Fast delivery, average price, huge portions and thoroughly delicious. You can pay over the phone. Open seven days a week too.

Ordered a delivery it took over 2 hours to arrive and when I phoned at the 2 hour mark to question where our food was the lady on the phone was extremely rude. Wont be ordering again and definitely would not recommend!

Over 3 hours late and still never arrived. Rang over 50 times, we couldn’t get through as phone went to answer phone. Rang after 2 hours with complaint to which they said it was around the corner. 40 minutes later we realised it wasn’t around the corner and phoned back (when we eventually got through) they said another 40 MINUTES. Never arrived. Rang again where they nearly said to wait 20 minutes but at this point 3.5 hours later and being fobbed off twice I had to ask for a refund. I understand New Years is busy but they shouldn’t accept the custom if they can’t handle it. We weren’t even offered anything complimentary or gesture of good will for future. Very disappointed

2 hours after ordering phoned the takeaway. They have forgotten our order Not interested in refund. Wanting to cook and deliver inside the third hour of waiting! Useless!!

We thought we'd try a different take away from our usual two. The menu here is extensive, the food was very good & the portions were big. There were also several freebies that we didnt know we had until we got home. This is now our place to go for Chinese.

The first time I ordered over £45 and I was sick after the order the second time my partner accidentally ordered from them and the crispy chilli beef and duck tasted gone off I rang to say I was not happy and they said they don’t care it was cooked fresh today, poor service I would never order from here again

After using WahYing for three or more years and having no problems I'm appalled at the one time I do complain the owner will do nothing! Shame on you for selling off food and expecting your customer to know their going to be ill the night they receive their order! Three times now this happened I did leave you messages in my next two orders but apparently they don't read these which is extremely worrying due to this also being for Allergy information ! The girl On the phone was polite and curtious but the manager just straight up said NO must ring on night! I've also seen reviews of others that have rung the same night and have also had the same attitude! I'd understand if I was asking for all three meals to be refunded but no, my order comes to less than £14 and they could offer nothing, so unless you have an extremely strong stomach or have phycic powers I would find somewhere else! 😡😡

Ordered and collected a superb takeaway from here. The menu is excellent. Huge and varied. The food was hot and tasty so will be paying another visit. It seems some people have had trouble with delivery looking at the reviews. Just go and get it yourself. Saves a long wait and avoids any bad feeling

I must say I'm surprised by the negative reviews on here I've been ordering from here for two years and its my favourite Chinese in town. I only eat chicken and I've never had a bad meal or it be late. I can tell sometimes that the rice is not as fresh as other times but its still not bad.

Arrived 20 minutes late, there was an odd, overly salty, taste to the prawn chow mein and then found a couple of hairs in the chicken chow mein. Gave a star because the Singapore vermicelli was nice.

I have had food from here twice before and it has been good. Tonight I decided to splash out and have Chinese, waited 1.5 hours and was totally disappointed. :( The egg fried rice was dry and uninteresting. The vegetable chow mein I chose with gravy this time assuming it would just be wetter than the dry one. It was a sticky mass as I served it and when I started eating it it just tasted caramelised. I ate around two or three mouthfuls and just had to give up. The vegetables tasted foul. I have eaten the mini spring rolls!

Quick delivery, special curry was like a watery soup with no taste at all. Chips tasted like yesterdays re-warmed. Pancake roll was ok and the garlic lamb edible. Have had some very dodgy meals from here but still go back so my bad really.

Easy to order on the Justeat website, although ordered prawn crackers and they were clearly going to be given free anyway so feel a bit ripped off there. Chips--large potion but cold. Rice- OK, chicken satay- OK, sauce very watery. Crispy beef--OK, beef quite chewy, crispy seaweed was nice, chicken balls--quite doughy not crispy. Food was OK, filled a gap but with plenty of other choice around I'll be trying the others before returning.

Got stuck in Yeovil due to snow, fancied a takeaway to eat in hotel room so tried this Chinese. Service was very good & quick. The food was cooked to order, all dishes we're delicious, best we have ever had. Just wish it was in my local town.

Chow main tasted very weird and dry, sweet and sour sauce was just like s tub of sugar and chips wernt cook properly and soggy!

Hemos usado este para llevar varias veces en los últimos años, asombrosamente sin problemas anteriormente. Habiendo salido de Yeovil en una aldea vecina el año pasado, no hemos utilizado los establecimientos de comida para llevar en la ciudad durante varios meses. Ayer por la noche (domingo) decidimos pedir una China, y después de encontrar que entregar a nuestro Wah Ying código postal, decidimos seguir adelante.

Good quality hot food delivered on time with some freebies as well, couldn't ask for more.

Expected the Chicken chow mien to be more than noodles beansprouts and random bits of chicken,..also ordered noodles and beansprouts...think it was all cooked together, but bits of chicken thrown in to make it chow mien and what was left was my noodles and beansprouts... will I order again ??? don't think so.

Lovely food. Ordered to be delivered at half 7. Turned up at half 5 when I wasn't ready for it.

Food was nice, once I paid they rang me to say that even though the delivery charge says £4 it will be £5. I had to pay £1 in cash at my door.

For some reason 'halifax secure' messed up and the money was taken but the order was not processed! Just eat called me straight away and said the order could be processed without re-payment! Over the moon! Food was spot on from my fave takeaway as usual. So happy with the customer service and how quickly it was rectified! Always tell my friends to order through just eat!!! 👌

Special sweet and sour balls chicken pork and prawns tough and uneatable, chicken and pineapple rice greasy meat tough, pancake roll extremely greasy now I feel very sick, dog enjoyed it though

After being given an estimated 45-60 minute delivery time, after 90 minutes I called Wah Ying who told me our food was en route. Despite 3 hungry women nagging me to complain, I waited a further 40 minutes before calling again. At this point I was told that they had no idea what had happened and they'd cook and deliver our food immediately. Which they did. No offer of a discount, or any real apology. I'm not willing to wait two and a half hours for a takeaway, so will not be ordering here again.

My only criticism is that the curry is listed as hot (it wasnt) unusually there was very little flavour!

Hemos usado Wah Ying House por 9 años pero ha ido cuesta abajo rápidamente. El personal es grosero y nuestras últimas tres pedidos han sido mal, así que no será con ellos de nuevo. La debacle resultante anoche comenzó con una orden que falta una taza de salsa de curry. No principales, pero £20 todavía había pagado por la comida que quería el fin de ser justo. Me pidió que tenemos toda la orden sustituirá como habíamos empezado a servir hasta la comida. Me dijeron que porque fue inaugurado no haría esto (quizás no abrieron hubieran servido a alguien, no sé). Me quejé de que me iba a resultar recalentar la comida y que quería una comida de microondas me hubiera organizado que yo, todo el punto fue para servir como una opción de conveniencia, así que no estábamos preparando la comida. Terminamos por conseguir la salsa curry entregan 35 minutos más tarde.

Ordered meal and for the 3rd order running from this takeaway they got it wrong. Person on the phone was pleasant enough but powerless and the rather vocal owner/chef in the background was most unhelpful. I didn't understand the language but did so the tone and volume. Her response to my complaint was to suggest I was attempting to swindle them out of a pot of curry sauce. Ended up reheating the food (chicken and rice) when they finally sent the correct item. Requested replacement order. They wouldn't not do this as we had partially dished up the food before we noticed the item was missing. Waste of money and after 9 years of ordering from Wah Ying House will not be ever ordering again and will be sure to tell all of my friends family and customers about this so they know to avoid.

Me and my friends really enjoyed the food. It's your normal takeaway Chinese food and hits the spot when your craving it!

Awful meal.. Items were not complete so they had to resend it but then didn't send the whole meal. Then I spent 2 hrs vomiting.. Had to be the food as I hadn't eaten all day.. Very disappointing for me as I've been a customer since the late 80's.. Not anymore though..
