Delicious food, best food there is, definitely the best in Yeovil

So good I wish I could eat more but I'm too full already.

Ordered on food hub waited over hour and half nobody turned up, when rang up about it refused to deliver it as told they closed, why accept my order then

Well all i can say about this place is to avoid like the plague, its awful, so we had it delivered and went to dish up and relized we was missing a dish, thats fine these things happen ill ring them and they will be able to sort the issue… boy was i so wrong… after explaining to the lady on the phone she just simply said…. No no mistake ok thank you bye and put the phone down!!!! so looks like weve just got to lump the fact that not all the order is there, ok fine i just wont use busy bees again because of that so lets just enjoy the food we have had delivered….. and well once agin we was wrong….ok so after delivery you could possibly expect it to be a little colder then if you collected but not completely cold, on top of being cold the rice tasted like it was old rice and chow mein was well frankly rank, i must admit though the sweet and sour sauce was good….. personally i would never go back to busy bees and i certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Prawn crackers were stale (probably bagged up yesterday) and cost £2.70, noodles tasted like they were re heated, chips were nice and delivery driver was polite but overall very disappointing food and won't use again.

The only slight positive was the delivery time although upon arrival it may have been better if the food hadn’t arrived at all. A common excuse from this takeaway is a one time occurrence well bland, oily, tasteless food seems to be the norm and not the exception. The beef is like rubber, the chicken boiled to an inch of it decomposing whilst the pork is incredibly bland. The saveloy was good so clearly the chefs here can operate a microwave which could be a saving grace. £80 wasted would have had more enjoyment using it as toilet paper or burning it.

Undercooked and greasy surprised I didn't get food poisoning

First time ordering from here and won't be back. Such a shame. We received raw chicken & when called to tell them we were offered a £10 voucher to go back, there's absolutely no way on earth I'll be back. Yet to know if the bit I did eat before realising is going to make me sick, hopefully not. Girl on the phone was polite but it's not a conversation you should be having when ordering a takeaway, all food temperatures should be checked thoroughly, certainly chicken. Not a great experience at all. EHO called as after two days, no refund given. Don't eat here folks, not worth the risk.

Never had a bad meal. Quality goes slightly downhill when busy but always been happy with it. Good value for money.

My number one takeaway for their Thai Green Curry. I absolutely love it from Busy Bee. The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff and owner are really lovely and super friendly. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Had amazing fish and chips this evening, we didn’t realise that chip shops would be closed on Sundays so had a look around and this seemed to be the only place. Luckily for us, it was amazing! Service was friendly and efficient, the lady operating the till even checking if things were vegan for us. Food was ready quickly. Was sooo tasty, really fresh and not greasy at all. We’re only passing through the area but would be back in a heartbeat if we could!

Service is constantly late and food cold. Then they charge a service charge on top, and ask to tip the driver on the webpage. Todays order is still not here after 1 &3/4 hours. My last order here.

DISGUSTING HORRIBLE OLD FOOD.RICE WAS CONGEALED AND STUCK TOGETHER,CURRY HAD MORE ONION THAN MEAT,THE MEAT WAS CHEWY.COST A FORTUNE FOR RUBBISH.AVOID At all costs.

Food was warm when it arrived- despite me living outside of Yeovil-, and the woman who delivered the food was lovely. The crispy duck was great. This is the second time I've ordered from here, and I will be again at some point. There is a vegetarian menu, too.

I have nothing but praise for the Busy Bee. The food is tasty, hot, and the service fairly quick. Thank you!

First time trying out this takeaway tonight, delivered earlier than time stated, friendly delivery driver. Ordered via web which was super easy, food was hot and delicious will definitely be a returning customer!!

Chicken was slimey, kind of like they boil it and then just mix it with the sauce, sauce wasn't really that good, spring rolls were bland. Yep definitely won't be using them again

The food was dry no sauce on the chop suey. The special fried rice was suppose to be a large but it was just a normal size in a plastic container. The chips were alright. For the price definitely not worth it. The service and the lady that served us was great. Wouldn't go there again unfortunately.

Worst take away ever we used to use these guys loads at week ends etc the last 18 months we keep trying but they’ve got no better just had fish and chips battered sausage not difficult to get right. Chips looked and tasted like they were cooked a week ago Battered sausage x3 batter was soggy and again no flavour or life batter was dead Cod batter was the same I don’t like leaving bad reviews but will never use these people again.

The delivery driver James was very smart and courteous and worth tipping - especially as the food was delivered promptly after ordering . Busy Bee's is by far the best Chinese takeaway in Yeovil . Their food is full of authentic flavours and served in generous portions . Anyone who has never ordered from Busy Bee's before should break away from their normal go to Chinese takeaway and give Busy Bee's your order - as they will certainly become your new favourite Chinese takeaway - just don't forget to tip the efficient delivery driver James too !! .

Been using Busy Bees for a long time, but last night the food was disgusting 🤢 soggy cold chips, saveloys were not saveloys, no garlic. Definitely will not be using again!

Walked in, and then walked out. Woman on till said they don't take card. Who in the 21st century doesn't take card... *2 years later, still don't have a card payment option... Must be some kind of tax fraud going on here

Tried for the first time on Monday. Most of the food was bland and uninspiring. The squid was so tough as to be inedible. Crispy chicken balls also very chewy with doughy batter. The best bits were the sweet and sour sauce and the free prawn crackers.

Walked in at 9:15, asked what time they close and they said 10:30, came back at 10:10 and they were closed. Can’t trust them. One regular customer lost.

Have used a number of times and always found the quality of the food very good.

We thought it was hopeless (having decided at 7:30pm on a Sunday night that we wanted 🐟&🍟) but Busy Bee came to the rescue with delicious fish, sausages and chips 😋. We also got a bag of prawn crackers as an unexpected bonus! 😁👍🏻

From the app food hub it was so easy, the,They do pay by my card and their online too. The amazing thing only a £1.50 delivery fee others are £5.00 and I live in a village, the approx time 45minutes 4 delevery 20 minutes i had it, i worried it would be cold it was pipping hot!! good portion sizes like the chips free lots of choice I saw after, the veg option too, roast duck etc Japanese &English! I had Chinese mushroom chowmien was lovely I filled up i order a chicken and beef in sauce the beef tasted great but the chicken almost tasted like it's boiled it needed more flavour!!then all dishes would have been 👍

Having had busy bees takeaway numerous times in the past, I was very disappointed by the meal we received today, the majority of the food was bland and required more seasoning, the spring rolls were flavourless bar that of the deep frier oil, stuffed with a white mush and no other veg in sight. The fried rice was greasy but tasted pleasant. The red curry was an enormous let down, such a simple dish done so poorly. And unfortunately it appeared to have been microwaved due to the texture of the chicken varying from tender at one end to rubber at the other. Don’t know what’s changed here, but it’s definitely for the worse.

Was treated to a birthday takeaway from here yesterday food was delicious very well cooked quick delivery driver was very good with social distancing even my fussy eating children enjoyed the food 10/10 will be returning

Weve been to this place 4 times and 3 of the times the food was great but the 1 time as they were busy the food was horrible.it tasted dry and like it had been cooked in the morning and left out to dry

We used to use this Chinese all the time and it was nice, now its gone down hill quite badly over the lsat 6 months. We have not been there for a few months so though we would like a take away so I bought two vegetarian dishes, plain rice and some chips. The curry and Hong Kong style dishes looked and tasted of dish water, there was no flavour and it was watered down. The plain rice was cold and a mush and even the chips were reheated. We had four mouthfuls and it all went in the bin.

Had an order of fish and chips oh my god yuk ,fish was slimey and skin was horrid ,batter was hard and so was the chips whole lot went in the bin ,expensive error on my part never again

We always use Busy Bees for our chinese delivery. They are slightly more expensive than a lot of takeaways but you get what you pay for. They always arrive quicker than they state on their website & the food is always piping hot, delicious & moreish. I would highly recommend them.

Completely tasteless crispy chilli chicken. It was not hot whatsoever even though the menu stated it was a hot dish. The chicken tasted off and was £5.50 and you didn't even get rice or chips with it. The worst Chinese I have ever had. Avoid if you don't want a meal time destroyed.

UM NO. The rice is cooked horribly and the meat tastes like rubber. when in store the customer service is terrible. Highly recommend not going here, maybe try chois kitchen or the rising sun.

Great Fish and chips! Also the battered sausages and curry sauce are amazing! Ordered a few times and never been disappointed.

Ordered for 9.15pm, delivered 8.45pm. Stated NO PRAWN CRACKERS ! but bag of prawn crackers on top of order. Chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts bland and completely tasteless, pancake rolls were white, no colour at all, thought they were supposed to be deep fried. If I had realised my dinner would be inedible I would not have accepted delivery. I am 80 yr old pensioner and cannot afford to throw away good money on inedible food.

Our food was suppose to arrive at 7.15pm, I phoned the restaurant at 7.45pm as the food hasn't arrived. The man on the phone was helpful and quickly told me my food was out for deluvery however could not tell me when it had left the restaurant. Food arrived shortly after still warm and yummy. So we are happy ♡

When ordering was messaged that it was going to be an hour. After the hour went by we eventually rang the takeaway and was told it was on the way. After 2 hours of ordering my food turned up. Fast food it certainly wasnt. Wont use Busy Bee again

Delivery tine came, ten mins later Called restaurant and they were very sorry and gave me 20% off next order they was only 15mins late so not a big problem. Food was lovely so will definitely order from them again.

Rather greasy,, would not order the special chow mein again the spring onion only being cut in to 3-4 large chunks was very off putting. Sorry won't be ordering again

Excellent. The meat was perfect, very well cooked so it was hard yet moist at the same time. It was a lovely big portion too and I struggled to get it all in but I managed to. It was very moreish and the sauce from the meat was still warm. I was very satisfied, it really wet my appetite and will definitely be having more of this.

Excellent Chinese, would definitely order from here again. Portion sizes are large so good value for money. Delivered a little later than expected but not by much and worth the wait! We were looking for a new Chinese takeaway after one or two disappointments, think we may have found it!

I was introduced to this Chinese takeaway by some friends of mine. I have to say it's one of the best I have ever had. The menu is easy to understand and their fish and chips are good also. My family said it's the best they have also had and their portions are very generous. Some of my favourite dishes are chicken curry , chilli beef and their sweet and sour dishes. I highly recommend this place and every time the food has been excellent.

I really enjoyed the food, although my order was mixed up. I ordered duck in plum sauce but received duck in pineapple. I ate it because I was hungry and couldn't bother to return and wait for another order to be cooked. The meal was tasty nevertheless and the delivery was early.

The noodles on my dish were still uncooked and I couldn’t eat them as they were not edible, £6.80 on unedible food. Shame really as I always order from here and it is usually good quality
