The best restaurants serving Chinese food in City of London, Westminster London

The food at this place is completely horrendous. It should be closed down for the very bad customer service. I will not be coming back here again since I cant even feed my dog the chicken which comes from this place.... DONT ORDER FROM HERE!

No tengo idea de cómo era este lugar bajo los viejos dueños, pero ahora es muy agradable. Acabo de tomar una comida para llevar muy buena de House Chow Mien in Sauce y Xiu Mai dim sum dumplings. Tómalo de una persona asiática, la comida es decente. Hay comida china absolutamente terrible (como la de Rotherhithe Street), ¡pero esta no es una de ellas! La comida estaba caliente y sabrosa, cocinada a la perfección, y venía con galletas de gambas gratis. ¿Visitaría de nuevo?

Consistently tasty food. Yet to be disappointed.

We visited Royal China after seeing generally good reviews online, but our experience was shockingly poor. First of all, the service was painfully slow — it took 25 minutes just to get two dim sum dishes, and this was on a Monday afternoon when the restaurant was far from busy. There's simply no excuse for such delays with so few tables to serve. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to add a discretionary service charge on top, despite the clearly subpar service. For a restaurant that positions itself as premium, the overall experience felt like a complete rip-off. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and frankly, ripped off. Would not recommend — there are far better dim sum options in London with better food, service, and value for money.

Oh my - how this restaurant has changed! I’ve been going here for 20yrs. Not so much the last couple yrs No wine, decorations and cooking a pale shadow of what it used to be. Sadly I probably won’t return.

the delivery was super quick , the food was piping hot & very tasty. there was very little salt on the fried rice which is how I like it. Will order Again Superb 👌

Very tasty duck and pasta, that's why we came here. Yes, the renovation and furniture are old, but it doesn't affect the taste.

Känner sig i vägen som gäst. Lockerbjudandet på 20pund obegränsat med kött, slutar i en nota på 100pund (föör två), efter tillbehör som lite sallad och ris och sås. Usel service. Beställde även en buljong som inte skulle vara stark. När vi sa ifrån skrattade de nästan åt oss

Empty restaurant. Overpriced. Awful food. Soup was Awful. Ribs were cold. Mains were standard. Prawns smelt of piss. Never again. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

He estado asistiendo al Kung fu por más de 10 años, la comida es deliciosa y el personal es increíble. Especialmente ve que ella recuerde tu orden y vaya más allá por ti.

He estado visitando restaurantes durante más de 40 años y el servicio en este lugar es el peor que he experimentado. Tuvimos 2 platos de entrada bien, pero para la principal habíamos pedido 3 platos más arroz. Solo llegó 1 plato así que le pregunté a uno del personal si podía perseguir a los demás, ella no volvió a nosotros y un par de minutos después estaba sirviendo en el otro extremo de la habitación, así que le pregunté a una segunda chica, los mismos resultados , no llegó comida, no nos actualizó. Probé uno de 3o, con una placa y máscara facial que sugería que era supervisora, lo mismo de nuevo que literalmente fue al otro extremo de la habitación, sin comida ni actualización. Esta vez caminé y pregunté quién estaba a cargo, eventualmente dijo que hablaría con el chef y rehacería nuestro pedido ya que el plato de 1 calle ahora estaba frío. Como los otros 3 estaban de pie en realidad les pregunté directamente por qué no volvieron a nosotros con ninguna información o comida. Los 3 de repente no podían hablar inglés. Hubo un retraso de 15 minutos antes de que llegaran los 3 platos y el arroz. En un momento dado el tipo a cargo preguntó si solo queríamos cancelar! no ofrecieron nada en respuesta hasta que nos quejamos enérgicamente y luego sacaron el precio de 2 de los platos de la factura. Nunca he encontrado un servicio tan malo como este y realmente no sé si fue falta de cuidado / estupidez o incluso (y no soy en absoluto políticamente correcto) racista, pero no pudimos evitar notar que varios chinos habían entrado después de nosotros, pero habían conseguido su comida antes que nosotros. No dejaría que nuestros gatos comieran aquí, y mucho menos que volvieran yo.

We booked for a friend's special birthday dinner, having traveled to London for the weekend to celebrate. We were a table of four booked at 7:45 and the confirmation email said we had the table for 2hours. In reality as Selfridges closes at 9pm we had a little over an hour. Unfortunately no one told us this until we were delivered our bill while we were eating our desserts at 8:45. This was after our dessert order was taken while we were halfway through our mains and our desserts bring brought to our table while my friend, who’s birthday it was, was still eating her main meal! I did contact Adesse after the event to express our dissatisfaction but have been given a half apology and the offer of desserts and drinks on a return trip. Not really much use to me after a rushed and therefore ruined celebration and for a non-local. I was also told I should have said something at the time. I would of, if only we hadn’t been ushered out practically while we were still eating desserts and finishing the one round of drinks we managed to order. I’m surprised someone didn’t offer to doggy bag the lot for us just to get rid.

Purtroppo la cena ci ha deluso. Posto ok situato a chinatown, soho . Abbiamo ordinato tofu in agrodolce e riso gamberi piselli e carne. L’ agrodolce era sgradevole, con ingredienti non specificati nel menù( che se avessimo conosciuto, non avremmo scelto), mentre il riso è arrivato completamente freddo e scondito. Il tutto a fronte di un prezzo elevato e totalmente ingiustificato. Non lo raccomando.

Tuvimos una velada realmente encantadora en el restaurante. Nuestro servidor era Hannah, que era tan bueno! Ella dio consejos sobre acompañamientos al plato principal, y fue muy atento. El restaurante estaba ocupado y las mesas muy juntas, pero eso no le restó valor a la experiencia. La comida era genial. Estamos deseando volver!

Paseamos por Londres buscando un bocado para comer y honestamente cada vez que miramos pensamos que tal vez el próximo será mejor, básicamente hay tanta elección que es una locura. De todos modos, nuestra búsqueda nos encontró caminando por la ciudad de China y nos decidimos por esto porque era estilo buffet autoservicio comiendo y se podía probar cosas que tal vez no suelen pedir. La elección era razonable y se podía volver a visitar la comida tantas veces como quisiera sujeto a comer lo que está en su plato antes de volver. Es un lugar solo en efectivo, así que asegúrate de no depender de tu teléfono o tarjeta para pagar. La comida estaba bien cocinada y el lugar, aunque básico en la disposición, hizo el trabajo para nosotros.
