Kung Food in City of London, Westminster

I regularly order Kung Food on Deliveroo for my fix of Chinese food and it’s fantastic. Enormous portions, great value for money and extremely tasty. Really recommend the dry ribs, the crispy chilli beef or chicken (which seem to taste identical) and the king prawn Ho Fun noodles. I just wish they had a branch in West London closer to home.

Absolutely sensational!! Best Chinese in London bar none, amazing food and great value for money. £6 for three choices in the buffet and every choice is fantastic, a must go if in the area!

Best Chinese I've had in London. Prawn balls are 10/10 every single time. They got my order wrong once but very quickly replaced the wrong dish. Food is 5 Stars but unfortunately inconsistent service means I can only justify 4 Stars (through gritted teeth). Will absolutely be ordering from here again - the food makes the potentially poor service well worth the risk.

I got tempted on the 3 items for £5.50 which is a cheaper than my local chinese and I knew why afterwards because the food was bland and I won't be going back there.

Great and quick Chinese food, you can go in and out in about 5 min which is really convenient. Will come back definitely.

Hace poco visité Londres y estaba en mi habitación de hotel ansiando comida china. Encontré este lugar en línea y me di cuenta de que estaba muy cerca de mi hotel. Me detuve y pedí rollitos de primavera y udon de carne para ir. Hice mi pedido y lo recibí en tan solo unos minutos. Estaba muy satisfecho con la velocidad y el sabor de los artículos. The place is very nice, has amazing food and vast menu to choose from the staff is very good, and the service is fast.

The food is not really as good as most other places............. It's ok but i'd say lacking in taste and character.

Me encantó la comida de este sitio y no me pareció nada cara. La verdad es que volvería a ir a un sitio como este para degustar de nuevo sus platos. Sitio recomendable. Por cierto si vas con prisa o algo, también vi que tienen para llevar, así que es un buen sitio donde ir :)

Justo abajo de la calle en 88 Middlesex es mi antiguo lugar, uno de los mejores restaurantes chinos en Londres. Si tienes más dinero y más tiempo, ir allí. Pero si estás en su camino a casa desde el trabajo -cansado, comodidad, tranquilidad y televisión anhelando, luego parar en Kung Comida y pillar algo de llevar bien funcionará. No hay revelaciones, pero no tengo quejas (hasta ahora). Yo he recurrido a muchas veces kf, y ha sido bien cada vez. Pruébelo.

Es sólo una llevar: sin lujos, fácil de caminar como se llega pasando en el cruce con Bishopsgate, o introducir el mercado de Petticoat Lane. Hay un montón de restaurantes cerca, pero yo voy a volver a este lugar. No comprar mucho, en realidad sólo el rollo de tortitas, y comer sermones caliente en la acera, a veces cuando está lloviendo ligeramente, ver el tráfico. Una parte de Londres para mí. La señora en el mostrador es robusta, pero llegar a conocerla como ella se convierte el plástico en papel servilletas, cubiertos y ella te mantendrá entretenido mientras te espera. Se puede decir una buena comida para llevar china por cierto los chefs de piedra los aceites e ingredientes en el woks, no imitar, parte de East End.

I occasionally get lunch from here as a treat. Quite often there is a queue leading out onto the pavement. The £5 lunch box is good value, the food tasty and plentiful.

Smaakvol en lekker eten, wel een zeer grote hoeveelheid, en dat voor maar 5 pond. Zeker de moeite waard voor een snelle lunch of iets dergerlijks. Erg veel keus. Voor zover ik kon zien alleen afhaal.

Descubrí este lugar puramente por accidente. No podía creer que el precio cobrado por un generoso almuerzo (5 libras por una gran caja de comida china - huevo frito arroz, sweet&sour; pollo, pollo en salsa alubias negras, barbacoa cerdo, 2 rollos primavera). De hecho, fue demasiado para mí para comer a la hora del almuerzo, pero lo que me comí era realmente muy bueno. Se sirve en 60 segundos, con el mínimo alboroto - muy recomendado.

I ordered the duck with rice-it was congealed skin and fat and ended up in the bin-my colleage had chicken with cashews-slimey slices of chicken in a waxy sauce-suffered the same fate as my duck-truly disgusting and waste of money.

There are 2 branches of this. I haven't tried the one on Clerkenwell Rd so don't take this review as any reflection on that particular branch. Anyway, This branch. What started as a half decent takeaway has now descended into a microwaved, reheated, expensive rush job. I recently ordered by phone and walked in earlier than expected to watch, to my utmost horror, the chicken balls being part microwaved then dipped in hot fat. The curry sauce, the sweet & sour sauce followed, straight into the microwave, followed by the rice which was already cooked then reheated in a wok with a little egg thrown in for good measure.Avoid the "Chicken" Curry. All I got was fat and vegetables. The "Chicken" that was in it was shredded to beyond belief. Also avoid the "Chicken" Teriyaki. Again, all fat and no meat. Avoid the prawn crackers, they must have been stood there weeks. There was a few fresh ones but not many. The chow mein, although had a few pieces of chicken, was incredibly greasy and on emptying the container actually had a pool of grease left in the corner. It's a real shame as when I discovered this place the food was of a very high calibre so I don't know what's gone wrong. Maybe they are under the misapprehension that just because most of the city boys get stupidly drunk they can fob everyone off with substandard goods. Sorry but not all of us work in the city we just pass through and it would be nice to find a half decent takeaway. Not so by the looks of things. Real shame as the food here was decent if a little expensive.
