Real Beijing in City of London, Westminster

He estado visitando restaurantes durante más de 40 años y el servicio en este lugar es el peor que he experimentado. Tuvimos 2 platos de entrada bien, pero para la principal habíamos pedido 3 platos más arroz. Solo llegó 1 plato así que le pregunté a uno del personal si podía perseguir a los demás, ella no volvió a nosotros y un par de minutos después estaba sirviendo en el otro extremo de la habitación, así que le pregunté a una segunda chica, los mismos resultados , no llegó comida, no nos actualizó. Probé uno de 3o, con una placa y máscara facial que sugería que era supervisora, lo mismo de nuevo que literalmente fue al otro extremo de la habitación, sin comida ni actualización. Esta vez caminé y pregunté quién estaba a cargo, eventualmente dijo que hablaría con el chef y rehacería nuestro pedido ya que el plato de 1 calle ahora estaba frío. Como los otros 3 estaban de pie en realidad les pregunté directamente por qué no volvieron a nosotros con ninguna información o comida. Los 3 de repente no podían hablar inglés. Hubo un retraso de 15 minutos antes de que llegaran los 3 platos y el arroz. En un momento dado el tipo a cargo preguntó si solo queríamos cancelar! no ofrecieron nada en respuesta hasta que nos quejamos enérgicamente y luego sacaron el precio de 2 de los platos de la factura. Nunca he encontrado un servicio tan malo como este y realmente no sé si fue falta de cuidado / estupidez o incluso (y no soy en absoluto políticamente correcto) racista, pero no pudimos evitar notar que varios chinos habían entrado después de nosotros, pero habían conseguido su comida antes que nosotros. No dejaría que nuestros gatos comieran aquí, y mucho menos que volvieran yo.

La comida estaba bien una vez que finalmente salió, pero he tenido mucho mejor... El caldo picante era bastante sabroso, pero el de pollo era horrible. El servicio, sin embargo, fue terrible y arruinó completamente la experiencia. Fuimos ignorados por el personal durante largos períodos, como hasta 15 minutos a la vez mientras saludamos y finalmente gritamos, continuamente se olvidaron de los artículos que pedimos, tuvimos que pedir cuatro veces los mismos fideos. . . Se sentaron en nuestra fiesta de ocho en una mesa con un cazo compartido (2 bases de sopa) mientras que una fiesta cercana de cinco tenía dos (cuatro bases) y solo nos dio dos cucharas, así que fue todo muy molesto e inconveniente para tratar de comer en lugar de una experiencia agradable para compartir. Me ondearon el cargo por servicio que es algo que nunca he pedido en mi vida. Esto fue una pena, ya que era mi cumpleaños y realmente había estado deseando la experiencia. Visitado después de ir a un espectáculo de teatro en el último fin de semana antes de Navidad. El personal era amable y nos acomodó en una noche muy ocupada y a pesar de que llegamos temprano para nuestra reserva. La comida era excelente en todos los aspectos y el precio era muy razonable.

Siempre vamos aquí cuando estamos en Londres. Es auténtico, no aceptamos sustitutos. Buenas opciones para vegetarianos. Es posible que tengas que esperar, ya que es tan popular, pero bien vale la pena esperar. El personal es amable y el servicio es rápido, pero nunca se apresura a salir.

Teníamos entradas para el teatro y elegimos este restaurante para una cena temprana. Está clasificado por muchos como el restaurante número 1 en Chinatown y descubrimos por qué es anoche. Es un restaurante sin lujos que sirve fabulosa comida china en un ambiente encantador y relajado. El servicio es excelente y la comida es de primera clase. Éramos 6 y tres elegimos menú fijo y 3 al a carta. Cada plato era excelente y todo cocinado delante de nosotros. No tendría ninguna duda en recomendar esta joya de un restaurante. El precio era muy razonable también.

Never go here. The costumer service is so bad. The meat is full of fat. Worst thing ever 😡😡. I take my little niece cause she really wanted to try. They charged us £78 pounds themenu is confusing. The meat was basically fat. Worst experience ever

1. The worst customer service but still got the nerves to charge ‘service charge’, here ain’t the US and on the receipt, there is no words telling ‘discretional’ referring to service charge. 2. We ordered egg fried rice and did not serve it to our table at all, when I tried to ask the staff to check it for me because we are hungry waiting for it, the girl turned around chic-chatting with other staff and threw the responsibility to others and the male staff came to me saying ‘everything’s served, what else you want to ask for?’, what the hell is wrong with that attitude??????? I need food and I am wrong to ask for that????????? It turned out that there is no rice coming to our table and even not a single apology from any of them staff, the man didn’t update us with any information about if the rice is in the process or they forgot, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys better change your fxxking attitudes and do your job, there’s nothing free for you if you don’t do your jobs properly. SHAME!!!

Very expensive boring food. Very little or no meat in the dish. One dish did only have frihed nuts and no Meat or Rice. Other dish was mostly Boodles with very little meat. Waiter did not care if food was ok.

My hubby and I took a punt on this restaurant after a theatre visit. Wish we had walked on by. Dirty shabby restaurant, long wait times and cold fatty food. We had the beef chilli noodles which arrived cold with just a few chunks of fatty beef. It made me feel nauseous not long after trying it. The restaurant had around 8 other guests yet the service was so slow. It was a really unpleasant experience all round.

Went for meal here and found the food amazing. The wait for a table was only about 15 minutes and the service was quite quick. We ordered four dishes and the dishes came out as they were ready. The only negative thing was the last dish came out as we had nearly finished the other dishes. The flavours seemed fresh and food piping hot. Would definitely go back again.

Dopo aver discusso con un altro ristorante (vedi altra recensione, de evitare) siamo arrivato a questo ed è stato come passare dalla notte al giorno. Servizio gentile e veloce (il cameriere si è messo con pazienza ad aiutarci a capire come si chiamavano in inglese i ravioli a vapore, Dumplings) cibo veramente buono. Provati i fried noodles with prawn (in Italia spaghetti alla piastra con gamberetti) e i dumplings di cui sopra. Prezzo un po'... londinese, niente a che vedere con i costi di un ristorante cinese in Italia, ma comunque contenuto rispetto ad altri intorno. Porzioni generose, ci si può sfamare anche con un solo piatto principale. Se riusciamo nei giorni rimanenti di permanenza ci torneremo.

We've been to this restaurant quite a few times over the years and it's always surprising. The food is tailored for people who are not afraid to try real northern Chinese food. The spicy food is really spicy (which is great). The food might taste and smell very differently from food you might have tried in Chinese Restaurants, that cater to the western palate. If you go in the evening there might be a queue, and service is very fast. The only downside is that it's quite obvious that the ingredients are not all fresh...

Walked in the place doesn’t seem very clean, when we walked in we weren’t greeted we had to find our friends who were already in there. It was really cramped the whole time I was trying to eat my elbow was banging against the person at the table next to me. The meat was frozen (although it didn’t taste bad) would expect the meat to be fresh. Also the chicken was not very nice and was served to us as raw chicken on the same plate as the prawns and vegetables which didn’t make sense. The broths we had were average. The spicy one was full of chillis and peppercorns which weren’t very nice as we also wanted to drink the broth but it wasn’t very pleasant. Furthermore we had to ask twice for them to bring bowls and my friend wanted a fork we had to ask twice. Really disappointed.

The hotpot was terrible, the meats seemed frozen and judging by the texture, they seemed old and borderline past expiration date and to add insult to injury the service was also quite slow.

A friend had visited previously and recommended that the three of us eat here and we were really pleased that we did. When Asians are eating in the restaurant you know you are going to get good food and we were not disappointed. He asked the waiter to choose so I don’t have a clue what we ate but it was all good. There was a pork dish, an aubergine dish, chicken and lamb on skewers. I love trying new dishes so this was perfect for me. The service was quick and efficient and we will definitely return.

Saw this new addition to Gerrard street for some time, tried it for dinner last night. What a pleasant surprise! Amazing Northern Chinese cuisine, so pleased to find real and very authentic food in Gerrard Street. Most enjoyable. Thank you.

Service was horrible, staff did not even talk to us, just took orders without saying a word back and took them over 45 mins for them to bring frozen meats! They then took another 30mins to bring the base. Whenever we asked for anything they didn’t do it, they started just chatting with other staff without any urgency. The food was decent but the service let down the whole vibe and I don’t think we will return

Typical Northern Chinese food, as authentic as what you can eat in Beijing. The grilled lamb is a must-try!

We had hot pot buffet but the waiter and waitress were reluctant to give us top up food and rolled eyes on us after a few asks. Awful services and extremely unfriendly environment. You wouldn’t feel like customers here but feel like you even owe their money! They didn’t even take cards payment - cash only suspicious business.

There are two levels of quite a normal looking restaurant but a Taiwanese friend took us to the third floor, that looked a bit bare. However the quality of the food was out of this world. The menu has loads of great choices and I got to try duck blood with tripe, which was delicious, much nicer tripe that I've had elsewhere, not chewy at all. Definitely come if you are a full on foodie, very, very worth it.
