The best restaurants serving Chinese food in City of London, Westminster London

Spontaan naar binnen gelopen en niet teleurgesteld. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het proces werd goed uitgelegd, en we we werden prima geholpen met de keuze van ons eten. Hierdoor hadden we een goede balans van verschillende gerechten, en ook niet teveel. We hadden aangegeven dat we niet zulke grote eters zijn. De bouillon was goed gekruid, voor mensen die niet gewend zijn aan pittig eten misschien te pittig, maar er was ook een mogelijkheid om mildere versie te bestellen. Al met al een leuke ervaring

Quality dropped a lot, after dinner then I realised the restaurant is not called Mr Meng anymore but Viet Delight. The food was really bland and terrible, but the service was okay. However, that still didn't save the poor quality of the food. I felt scammed after going there and will never go there again.

Turned up Saturday evening 7pm without a booking. They managed to fit us in we had the £30 a head option. Food was good lots of it and staff were very friendly

We had tickets for the theatre and chose this restaurant for an early dinner. It’s rated by many as the No. 1 restaurant in Chinatown and we discovered why that is last night. It’s a no frills restaurant serving fabulous Chinese food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The service is excellent and the food is first class. We were 6 and three chose set menu and 3 al a carte. Every single course was excellent and all cooked in front of us. Would have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a restaurant. The price was very reasonable too.

Nous sommes arrivés dans ce restaurant par hasard, et ce ne fut pas une excellente décision. Les locaux sont sans charme, le service n'est pas professionnel, nous étions deux et nous n'avons pas été servis en même temps, et lorsque l'un de nous a terminé son repas on lui a directement retiré son assiette, sans même attendre que l'autre termine son repas.Nous avons choisi en entrée un mix de différents plats asiatiques, plutôt réussis quoique les nems nettement moins bons que ceux mangés la veille dans un restaurant thai vers Hammersmith. Les plats principaux que nous avons choisis étaient plutôt quelconques.Nous ne retournerons pas à cette adresse.

The quality of the food was average at best and the wine was overpriced. The service was also overbearing.

Si vas a la orden con ellos, asegúrate de que es por teléfono. Tienen dificultades con el sistema en línea, y a pesar de que confirmó mi orden en que fueron 20 minutos más tarde de la última oportunamente. Good food, not spectacular or memorable. A location you go to for the ambience... to see and be seen. Expect to queue for a seat. Observation: using his cooking gloves, one of the chefs picked his mobile from his back pocket before going straight back to cooking and prepping customer plates a few minutes later.

В общем-то забегаловка, торгующая китайской едой. Есть прямо там - на любителя. Основной контингент берет еду на вынос. За столиками в основном не едят, а ждут заказ - а подождать приходится. . Китайская кухня на любителя, но очень дешевая и порции очень большие.

worst experience at a chinese restaurant ever. My friends and I popped in after having a stroll around central London as we saw there was a queue outside so we assumed the food would be good- also considering the prices. We ordered roast pork, which came to our table stone cold, we then decided we do not want that particular dish anymore as pork served cold seems like a serious health hazard. Our special fried rice came out slimy and with sauce on top that ruined the entire meal. We complained to staff and they were ridiculously rude to all of us, we kindly asked them to remove it of our bill however the woman rudely refused and stated towards me a black woman that ‘I knew you would be like this when you walked through the door,’ which I found profusely horrible. After a while she settled for taking off the rice which was £12 and she only took off £6.80. I am highly upset at the service we received at this disgusting place. No hospitality at that chaotic place whatsoever. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Food was ok but looked stodgy and bit the same. Different than what menu would suggested. My husband shredded beef was OK.

I hadn't ordered from Yum Yum Pimlico for a couple of years so with family from overseas and Yum Yum just around the corner I thought that it would be worth doing a takeaway order as the food would still be hot on arrival and the food was always good. That was a mistake I won't make again. I ordered £56 of food to be delivered, after ordering it I received a call asking if I could collect it instead, which I did. Upon getting home with the order I and my family were appalled with the quality of the food. Three portions of egg fried rice which were completely brown from what I am guessing was soy sauce were inedible, mushy and devoid of anything looking like egg. The spicy garlic chicken was bland and more onions and bamboo shoot, I expected the onions and bamboo just not the lack of spice or flavour. The bbq ribs weren't very good. The meat was dry and the bbq sauce bland and it left my hands stained yellow, rather like turmeric would. The cashew chicken was more onions than chicken but apart from that not particularly objectionable. The sweet and sour chicken was sour. Far too much vinegar and nothing to sweeten the tang with a few token pieces of tinned pineapple for appearances. The spring rolls had been cooked almost to mummification. We threw the lot in the bin. After trying it all, looking for something that might redeem it we chalked the effort and cost up to experience and went out for dinner. Only the cashew chicken put up a gastronomic fight but was clearly not in the running for a happy meal award. I am embarrassed in the eyes of my family and utterly disappointed because I used to love their food, how close it was and quickly delivered. Never again.
