One Plus in City of London, Westminster

Food was ok but looked stodgy and bit the same. Different than what menu would suggested. My husband shredded beef was OK.

We come back every year. Super food & fast.

We were 4 persons eating lunch here and nobody liked it or finished the plate. Chicken didn’t taste fresh. Pork was tasteless and had food colouring etc unnatural ingredients. When you asked a question from the staff about food they answered that they don’t know… depends on the chef.

The food was ok -- probably the average of the area but the service was terrible. The waiter was extremely rude with us.

Best in China Town. Our waiter was extremely helpful and understood we were in a bit of a rush and prioritised our food. Everything was extremely tasty, I recommend the veggie dumplings most! We will be back :)

We came for lunch today and were served immediately with great kindness. We had chicken fried rice which was fantastic, grilled dim suns with pork and other dim suns with pork which were wonderful. We were in a hurry as we would soon have a reservation to visit Westminster Abbey, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the speed of the service

Stopped in while visiting London. Braised beef brisket soup was good. Daughter loved the sweet and sour chicken, but the star of the show was the salt and pepper chicken. Great service and friendly staff. Would recommend.

A good place for fried rice chicken/egg they use quality ingredients. The stir fry beef was a little too sweet for my liking and had very little beef in it. Will come back for the fried rice again but not for the stir fry beef. Apart they also have a requirement that every person must order over £10 which is conveyed the minute you enter the restaurant.

Typical fast food the Chinese Job, we came to this restaurant in the Chinatown district, we didn't like it much, moreover we paid a lot, they are all ready-made dishes, it's not worth it and I don't recommend it.

Greasy food as I have never tasted. Expensive considering the quality of food and service. Tourist trap to say the least.

Staff was rude. Wanted to get a drink, they almost forced us to get something otherwise we’d get kicked out. When I paid the bill, they charged 2 lbs more than what it was supposed to be

Lovely staff food was nice and was served hot and quickly. Would recommend if you are out and about for the day for a quick meal.

The food is mediocre at best but the service is appalling.. We were seated right under the a/c on a cold day and asked if they could turn it off. The woman looked at us in the most obnoxious way and told us it was set a 23 degrees. They made such a fuss like they were doing something about it but actually didn’t. We ate our lousy food and got away as fast as we could. I never leave bad reviews but this was such a terrible experience.

Absolutely disgusting place 🤮🤮 went to London the weekend before Christmas looking forward to watching a show which I never got to enjoy thanks to this ‘restaurant’. There was no soap in the bathrooms so couldn’t wash hands when going to the toilet and the toilets were clogged up. I ended getting very bad food poisoning here and was up all night throwing my guts up. The crab tasted like it was off and undercooked. I ended spending two days in bed sick the night after here. Avoid seriously should be shut down immediately

We are not! Poor quality food, very greasy and not very tasty. The bill was excessively expensive for what we "ate" (three starters and a first course + 3 cokes for 70 euros).

The worse chinese food I had in a very long time. The sweet and sour pork and prawn had been left by us and the table next to us, uncooked vegetable, tiny sauce...TO AVOID!

The restaurant or the people working there completely ruined my whole day. I placed an order (dumplings) and said three times that it should be WITHOUT meat, only vegetarian. Three times !!!!! I got a mixture with PORK!!! I went back to the staff to show it, but he didn't want to embarrass himself and tried to make excuses, saying it wasn't meat and asking if I'm a vegetarian. Just IMPUDENCE!, I wish I acted better or more. Poor service, lies over lies. Don't trust them. Never ever again!

We came here for lunch during the first day of the Lunar New Year. It was not a long line to wait in comparison with other restaurants nearby. So we decided to give this place a try. We had pork dumplings as starter. Kailan with garlic was loaded with msg! My husband didn't feel well after eating it. The beef stir fry noodles was lacking in reasoning. Although we got a seat, I rather wait next time for a different restaurant.

The restaraunt does not accept reservations, that means you have to be lucky to find a table. Food is tasty and portion are quite generous. Quality is average as the price.

Second time coming here. Really enjoyable experience. Had set vegetarian menu. Food exceptional and very generous portions. Friendly and attentive staff made it a very pleasant experience.

First time in Chinatown London after little wait for a table we went for the set menu c 33.90 each all this big portions was really nice service was fantastic and really quick would high recommend.

Ate there tonight and the food was amazing. All four of us chose different dishes and enjoyed all of them. Well worth the slightly higher prices.

I ordered king prawns without shell with black paper pepper. The menu show a nice picture with dry food . I got a kind of soup. I asked explanation. First she say the that picture was with shell, then after my pushback she show me a fine line in the menu that the picture are just illustrative and may not be the final dish. Everyone had a bad experience

While spending time in China Town before theatre this is a nice place perfect for lunch. The area is busy and a great place to discover new restaurants. This one had lunch offers as well as a la carte and we tried a bit of both. Good choice.

unpleasant waiter, we asked for water and we never saw the color, the dishes were non-contractual, and lacked taste, the noodles were very spicy even though the opposite was written. The setting is nice but nothing more, I don't recommend it.

We ate here on Christmas Day because the rest of the restaurants were packed. Very bad experience. They charged us for all the dishes at double the menu price plus a 12% tip. The rice dishes cost more than €30..... a scam. The food was just normal. I wouldn't repeat.

I’m not commenting on the 1.8 times price on Christmas Eve as it was communicated before hand and it costs a fortune to eat outside on Christmas Days. The food we ordered was extremely salty and made us drink so much water afterwards and our mounts feel dry for a long time.

We came at 12pm to have lunch. We were the first customers, the food was brilliant same as the service. The food came in the right order and the waiter was very polite and welcoming.

Most enjoyable evening with a bunch of mates. Too noisy in All Bar One, we took a gamble on a wander around China Town, on a cold Friday night in December. Quite a few places couldn't take 5 people at short notice, but the lovely, helpful lady at the front of house asked for 10 minutes, then came up trumps within 5! Comfortably sat, menu perused and questions answered, we ended up eating like Kings and laughing like fools. Great food, great atmosphere, great people.

Lovely food. Had to ask for the Set menu as they only give you the main one. Decided on set meal B, so much food which was nice and hot, good value for money. Staff polite and friendly.

Essen so naja hat an Geschmack gefehlt. Außerdem sehr teuer. Geschirr dreckig. Kellner bringen Rechung ohne zu fragen und wollen dass man bezahlt. Touristenfalle besser woanders hin.

Delicious food and great service

A very mediocre experience but what stood out, in a bad way, was the cost of the meal. Almost £115 for a few dishes and the cheapest bottle of wine - which was just average. We had a couple of starters, a bok choy and one main fish course and the special fried rice ( lacklustre- had to request soy sauce to give it a bit of flavour) I know London prices can make your eyes water but this just felt out of the box diabolical. We only went in because there wasn't a queue and we were too lazy to wait to get into our original choice. Lesson learned. You can learn from ours!

Fabulous meal, we really struck lucky finding this restaurant. Food was hot, very tasty, and served at a nice pace. Very discreet service. Will be back, next time in London. Don't believe the iffy reviews, they are incorrect ! Would recommend.

Very bad service. the waitress was unfriendly. my food was plain no spices or anything …i ordered fried rice with fried chicken but all was just plain cooked.they fergot the second orderer and when the waitress realized they brought the food with no apologies but the dish was all burned…

Best Chinese I've tried in London, original and very flavourful. Not your standard Chinese menu. Really good quality, really friendly staff, and pretty reasonable price for the location. Recommend strongly, get a few dishes and try a few different things.

Horrible, les toilettes dégueulasses. Des gyozas mal cuits, sans goûts. Les ribs de porc immangeables. Poulet aux citrons, je dirais plutôt du citron au poulet.Bref, à fuir.

Also wo fang ich an es war das schlechteste asiatische Restaurant in dem ich je war. Das Sweet and Sour Chicken war ungenießbar durch die schleimige dicke Sweet and Sour Sauce. Die Musik in dem Laden war viel zu laut und hat garnicht in das Restaurant gepasst. Es war viel zu teuer und ich hätte wenigstens ein bisschen Qualität erwartet vor allem da wir in London sind. Die Bedienungen waren manchmal freundlich und dann wieder total abweisend bis hin zu unhöflich. Insgesamt ist es nur 1 Stern geworden ich würde lieber sogar 0 Sterne vergeben. Es ist eine Touristenfalle auf die viele reinfallen.

Hele leuke plek om te eten. Goed en lekker eten. Pas op dat je niet te veel besteld porties zijn behoorlijk groot. Toilet bovenaan een steile trap.

This was our third visit here in the last 2 years. We found it the first time and whilst basic to say the least the food was good for the price. After tonight we won't bother again. The staff can't be bothered to speak to you for a start. Menus are battered and dirty and the prices are ridiculous. We ordered exactly the same dishes as we had last year and the price has Increased by £10. We all.expect the price to have gone up but the quality has gone down in a big way. The sweet and sour King prawns were still.good but the dim sum were awful. We slept them as when I cut into them the pork looked to be nothing but fat. No point in complaining because they clearly don't care. They didn't even ask if there was something wrong when they cleared the table and saw we hadn't eaten them. Clearly there is no pride in what they do. You know there are issues when you sit down at a table with no tablecloths, melamine plates and old fashioned glasses. Be warned the menu carries a statement that says the pictures if the food are not necessarily what you will be served and are for illustration only. Don't get caught out when paying by card either as the machine will.asknif you want to.leave a tip. You have already had it added to your bill

A place in the heart of Chinatown. They have set menus which are reasonable value … but they do not give them to you when you sit down & you will have to ask for them. It is well worth doing so because the set menus are much cheaper. Soup, seaweed, duck + 3 pancakes each; a large main each and a share of rice for £20.50. The same is going to cost you more like £40 a La carte. Food was good, generous portions and service was ok too but I can see why other reviews are less positive as the table next to us seemed to get all their food at once.

We zaten op terras onder een afdak. Perfect om te zitten midden in de namiddag. We hebben de apethisers genomen van de chef en nog wat extra hapjes. Allemaal super lekker en voldoende mee gegeten. Vriendelijk meisje die ons bediende.

Last Saturday we wanted to eat in China Town, and just randomly selected this restaurant as it looked cosy and clean. Usually we don’t have high expectations when eating out like this, so it came as a massive suprise how good the food was. Everyting was tasty, very fresh, staff was lovely, very polite. I had a tea, which was served in a traditional small cup, we had tom yum soup, noodles and my favorite- the enoki mushroom and beancurd with jasmine rice. Honestly we couldn’t get enough, we left the place very full and very happy. For me it was a bonus that all this before they closed. Still good service and still amazing food. Thank you Team, we will be back!

One of the best restaurant in london chinatown! Waiters were friendly as well especially the waiter named “alex” and “James”. Definitely would recommend people to come here often!!

Food was of varying quality, from good to very basic. If I pay £100 for a meal for one adult and two kids, I really expect better.

Le service est rapide, mais le personnel est limite désagréable. Les plats sont très copieux, on peut largement en commander un seul pour deux personnes. Cuisine assez grasse, mais ça restait bon, sans être exceptionnel. Un peu cher, c'est peut- être pour ça qu'il y a de telles quantités dans les plats? Très bruyant...

We arrived at 8:30 on a busy Thursday night in Chinatown and ordered some dim sum to start and two main courses. All the food arrived at the same time and when queried this we were told the kitchen was closing. If we were told this when being seated we would have gone elsewhere. By 9:30 we were being hurried along and by 9:40 tables were being noisily set around us for the next day and bags of rubbish being carried out in front of us, while we still were eating! By 9:50 the bill was dropped at our table with a 10% service charge included! A complaint to the ‘manager’ was met with a shrug. And the food overall was very poor. After leaving all the other restaurants around were still open, busy and serving customers, yet this place was closed and we were the last to leave. Dreadful place, don’t go near it.

This restaurant had terrible customer service. We ordered starters and main course but we were told we had to have it all together as they were closing at 10pm! At 9.40pm they asked us to leave and started clearing up around us and setting tables for the next day. They brought bin bags in and the started clearing up around us. We complained to the manager at the end but he said if we came earlier that would not have happened. We felt complaining to him made no difference really and they are going to continue rushing clients. A lot of other restaurants in Chinatown were still open and full when we left. We regret not looking at the reviews of this place before we went in.. Avoid at all costs !

Me and my friend went to have some Chinese food. The starters were ok. However, the food was served not in the order we asked for. We have been waiting too long for the mains. The mains were awful! Rice was dry, beef was so oily and the noodles were undercooked. The food felt plain and very very fatty and oily, the chicken was mostly bones rather that meat. We complained about it, and the waiter said “okay”. We escalated this complain further and never heard any apologies, another waitress even started to shout on my friend. The worst experience we ever had! Avoid this place!!!

Surprised by how it turned out considering the bad reviews I had read about it. Food was lovely, very big portions. I had the duck pancakes and the sweet and sour pork. My friends had the chicken noodles and meat dumplings. It was all delicious and came very fast. Service could have been better, hard to find a waiter at times but they were all very nice otherwise. Atmosphere is what you would expect of a Chinatown restaurant.

Place looked nice, but the braised chicken had multiple small bones left in it and the chicken was like rubber. The mixed vegans with fried noodles had absolutely no flavor. Service was mediocre. Would definitely not go back.

The food was awful and in addition i had a hair on my plate which was my saving grace bc i could not finish my food. Never ever eat the crispy noodle seafood plate

Sehr lecker und schneller Service

Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante per cena, siamo arrivati verso le 20 e nonostante fosse quasi tutto pieno ci hanno comunque fatti accomodare senza problemi. Abbiamo preso due primi, uno a testa e due bicchieri d'acqua. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e i prezzi sono assolutamenti abbordabili considerando la media di Londra, le porzioni abbondanti.

To Chinatown there are a lot of restaurants but this one in particular it's great, the food it's delicious (a lot of vegetables) the price, service... It's perfect !
