What a rubbish place, food was incredibly overpriced set menu was just expensive and full of veg i was shocked. 3 people 150 was soft drinks. One person service 10 with no customer.service skills. Burnt noodles. AVOID

Unfortunately not recommended. We ordered the chicken fried rice, which had virtually no seasoning, three peas and tough meat. Plus the dumplings with pork and chicken, which were pretty much the most unappetizing thing we've ever seen. We dared to try it, but regretted it... It was really inedible. But the waiter was very nice and tried hard!

Lemon Chicken tasted actually like „Chicken Nuggets“ dripped in Sprite…. Egg fried rice was tasteless and and not really fried. At least sizzling duck was quiet nice.

Wasn’t great to be honest. Forgot one of our main courses. Chicken King Po must have been cooked in acid. Highway to Heartburn city. Staff stood watching us to finish. Made us feel uncomfortable. Added their own 12-5 survharge and then asked did I want to tip???Walk on by this place. Decor could do with a facelift. By no means a fussy customer but this lacked in everything. Hope you read before you book. Their motto must read get them in and get them out!!!!!

Dinning out in London has become an expensive and uninspiring experience. Sadly this is the case across the board however this was our experience with this restaurant also. I'm not accustomed to giving negative reviews but this is unavoidable. The food was poor quality, the chicken tough as old boots, no flavour but soy sauce and incredibly expensive for what little we had. Disappointed and shocked at how awful the whole experience was it's given us the feeling we are better off 'Dinning Out' at home and then going to the theatre or other entertainment. So save your hard earned money and use it for something that will give you greater satisfaction.

Awful dining experience. Tables were cramped, staff inattentive, toilets were disgusting, food was terrible and overpriced, and then they tried to charge a service fee on top!

I honestly don’t even know where to start. My experience at One Plus in Chinatown, London, was absolutely terrible. I had high hopes, but I deeply regret ever stepping foot in this place. First off, the food was disgusting. Everything—literally everything—was drowning in vinegar. It was as if someone mistook vinegar for seasoning and just poured it over every single dish. There was no balance, no flavor, just an overwhelming acidic mess. Then there was the sake. I don’t know what they served us, but it tasted so off that I genuinely wondered if it had gone bad. It was beyond unpleasant—just downright disgusting. And if that wasn’t bad enough, after eating the food, my tongue started burning. It was the weirdest, most uncomfortable sensation, like something in the food had irritated it. I’ve never experienced anything like that before, and honestly, it was concerning. To top it all off, this disaster of a meal cost us £85 for just two meals. For that price, you’d expect at least decent food, but instead, we got one of the worst dining experiences ever. The service wasn’t anything special either—not rude, but definitely not making any effort to improve the experience. Save your money and go anywhere else. I wouldn’t wish this meal on anyone. PS: Don’t go on the looks of the food .

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:50pm and the place closed at 10:00pm. The food didn't take 10 minutes to arrive at the table and at 9:30pm we were already out. I forgot a hat that I took off to eat and when I went back to get it it was already closed and they were cleaning everything. There were still 20 minutes left until 10:00 pm I would return for the food but if they treat me the same way again, I will make a formal complaint.

They leave the food quite bland and you have to season it with soy. The place is not very big in case you decide to go in a group. They charge a lot for the service.

We went in to eat because we didn't know where to go, we ordered the drink and seeing the menu didn't convince us, so we politely asked for the bill. They overcharged us for not ordering food, apart from treating us badly, without even looking at our faces. They were very unpleasant to attend to.

Went to One Plus 2/1/2025 with family of 5 as pre theatre meal. I have previously been for lunchtime with business colleagues. I have always found the quality of the food & portions to be of a high standard. I was therefore surprised to see several negative reviews. Both the food & service was exemplary last night despite the restaurant being full. The service was quick & efficient & the food was delicious, especially the dim sum. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant

Minimum consumption €15 at lunchtime, food very unseasoned

We were hesitant about this given the other ratings, but decided to try it anyway. Pleasantly surprised! Staff were very friendly and warm. The food was good, not the greatest meal I've had, but it was tasty. Service was quick - server came by for bills rather fast, but I understand as there was a lineup out the door. Overall, not a 'must try' but great if you're looking for a solid choice among all the other restaurants in the area.

All food prices doubled on Christmas, and five friends and I ate for more than 300 euros for five dishes... Although the waiter informed us in advance that the price would increase by 1.8 times, the service attitude was also very good. But when you eat, you eat every dish. We were looking for a place to have dinner and came across this restaurant. The set meal options displayed outside caught our attention. However, when we were seated, the staff informed us that the prices listed were per person, with a minimum of two people required for the set meals. This detail was not clearly stated on the menu outside, making it feel a bit misleading. Despite this, we decided to stay and ordered the Set A, which was about £21 per person. The meal itself was enjoyable, and the service was decent. However, one thing missing from the service was follow-up feedback after the meals were served, which could have improved the experience. Another point to note is the 12.5% service charge, which is already included in the bill. Despite this, when paying by card, there’s still an option to leave an additional tip. This feels unnecessary unless the service charge isn’t going to the staff, which I hope isn’t the case. I suggest they make it clearer on the menu that the set meal prices are per person to avoid confusion for future diners.

The food was very tasty. Lots of restaurants next to each other... But we clearly made the best choice. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

I am a Chinese and it's safe to say that the lunch menu is a disaster. I ordered braised chicken on rice, it came unusually fast (within 5 minute after ordering) which makes me think it's pre-made. What I received was not braised chicken at all but some fried chicken with the crust on, but then soften with some source. This look like they are reheating the leftovers from the day before and brand it as a cheap lunch special. The chicken itself is extremely salty and dry, I had to leave more than half of it even though I was really hungry. Will never come again.

Food was ok but looked stodgy and bit the same. Different than what menu would suggested. My husband shredded beef was OK.

We were 4 persons eating lunch here and nobody liked it or finished the plate. Chicken didn’t taste fresh. Pork was tasteless and had food colouring etc unnatural ingredients. When you asked a question from the staff about food they answered that they don’t know… depends on the chef.

Best in China Town. Our waiter was extremely helpful and understood we were in a bit of a rush and prioritised our food. Everything was extremely tasty, I recommend the veggie dumplings most! We will be back :)

We came for lunch today and were served immediately with great kindness. We had chicken fried rice which was fantastic, grilled dim suns with pork and other dim suns with pork which were wonderful. We were in a hurry as we would soon have a reservation to visit Westminster Abbey, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the speed of the service

Stopped in while visiting London. Braised beef brisket soup was good. Daughter loved the sweet and sour chicken, but the star of the show was the salt and pepper chicken. Great service and friendly staff. Would recommend.

A good place for fried rice chicken/egg they use quality ingredients. The stir fry beef was a little too sweet for my liking and had very little beef in it. Will come back for the fried rice again but not for the stir fry beef. Apart they also have a requirement that every person must order over £10 which is conveyed the minute you enter the restaurant.

Typical fast food the Chinese Job, we came to this restaurant in the Chinatown district, we didn't like it much, moreover we paid a lot, they are all ready-made dishes, it's not worth it and I don't recommend it.

The food is mediocre at best but the service is appalling.. We were seated right under the a/c on a cold day and asked if they could turn it off. The woman looked at us in the most obnoxious way and told us it was set a 23 degrees. They made such a fuss like they were doing something about it but actually didn’t. We ate our lousy food and got away as fast as we could. I never leave bad reviews but this was such a terrible experience.

Absolutely disgusting place 🤮🤮 went to London the weekend before Christmas looking forward to watching a show which I never got to enjoy thanks to this ‘restaurant’. There was no soap in the bathrooms so couldn’t wash hands when going to the toilet and the toilets were clogged up. I ended getting very bad food poisoning here and was up all night throwing my guts up. The crab tasted like it was off and undercooked. I ended spending two days in bed sick the night after here. Avoid seriously should be shut down immediately

We came here for lunch during the first day of the Lunar New Year. It was not a long line to wait in comparison with other restaurants nearby. So we decided to give this place a try. We had pork dumplings as starter. Kailan with garlic was loaded with msg! My husband didn't feel well after eating it. The beef stir fry noodles was lacking in reasoning. Although we got a seat, I rather wait next time for a different restaurant.

The restaraunt does not accept reservations, that means you have to be lucky to find a table. Food is tasty and portion are quite generous. Quality is average as the price.

First time in Chinatown London after little wait for a table we went for the set menu c 33.90 each all this big portions was really nice service was fantastic and really quick would high recommend.

While spending time in China Town before theatre this is a nice place perfect for lunch. The area is busy and a great place to discover new restaurants. This one had lunch offers as well as a la carte and we tried a bit of both. Good choice.

I ordered king prawns without shell with black paper pepper. The menu show a nice picture with dry food . I got a kind of soup. I asked explanation. First she say the that picture was with shell, then after my pushback she show me a fine line in the menu that the picture are just illustrative and may not be the final dish. We ate here on Christmas Day because the rest of the restaurants were packed. Very bad experience. They charged us for all the dishes at double the menu price plus a 12% tip. The rice dishes cost more than €30..... a scam. The food was just normal. I wouldn't repeat.

We came at 12pm to have lunch. We were the first customers, the food was brilliant same as the service. The food came in the right order and the waiter was very polite and welcoming.

Most enjoyable evening with a bunch of mates. Too noisy in All Bar One, we took a gamble on a wander around China Town, on a cold Friday night in December. Quite a few places couldn't take 5 people at short notice, but the lovely, helpful lady at the front of house asked for 10 minutes, then came up trumps within 5! Comfortably sat, menu perused and questions answered, we ended up eating like Kings and laughing like fools. Great food, great atmosphere, great people.

Lovely food. Had to ask for the Set menu as they only give you the main one. Decided on set meal B, so much food which was nice and hot, good value for money. Staff polite and friendly.

Delicious food and great service

A very mediocre experience but what stood out, in a bad way, was the cost of the meal. Almost £115 for a few dishes and the cheapest bottle of wine - which was just average. We had a couple of starters, a bok choy and one main fish course and the special fried rice ( lacklustre- had to request soy sauce to give it a bit of flavour) I know London prices can make your eyes water but this just felt out of the box diabolical. We only went in because there wasn't a queue and we were too lazy to wait to get into our original choice. Lesson learned. You can learn from ours!

Best Chinese I've tried in London, original and very flavourful. Not your standard Chinese menu. Really good quality, really friendly staff, and pretty reasonable price for the location. Recommend strongly, get a few dishes and try a few different things.

Die Musik in dem Laden war viel zu laut und hat garnicht in das Restaurant gepasst. Es war viel zu teuer und ich hätte wenigstens ein bisschen Qualität erwartet vor allem da wir in London sind. Die Bedienungen waren manchmal freundlich und dann wieder total abweisend bis hin zu unhöflich. Insgesamt ist es nur 1 Stern geworden ich würde lieber sogar 0 Sterne vergeben. Es ist eine Touristenfalle auf die viele reinfallen.

Hele leuke plek om te eten. Goed en lekker eten. Pas op dat je niet te veel besteld porties zijn behoorlijk groot. Toilet bovenaan een steile trap.
