Beautiful food. Best chicken and sweet corn soup I’ve ever had. Friendly service! Would definitely come back to this Chinese!

Went before pandemic & was impressed, returned last night & was awful, service staff were impatient taking orders, then started clearing plates across me whilst still eating. Menu online is not the menu in the restaurant, fewer options & increased prices. We had a mixed seafood platter as starter, all heavily fried, presentation was pathetic, don’t waste your money better value in our local take-away!

Don't understand the poor reviews. Been visiting for several years though not in evening so can't comment on that but always have great service from friendly staff. Food excellent quality, piping hot, but unlike other places the individual dishes are very large, basically a meal in itself or to share. True, it's not cheap, more like value for money if you enjoy quality. The environment is very pleasant in a modern but still traditional decorations. We are always pleased to see a restaurant own nationality eating there as it can't be bad. And the bonus of having its own car park is the cherry.

To say this was disappointing is a huge understatement how you can call this Chinese food is blasphemy. I suggest you get new chefs and dont charge as much for the garbage I received.

On the 11th Feburary I ordered the "Set meal C for 2 persons" for £78.60, delivery &service charge taking it to £87.75. The seafood meal was not what we expected. Not only was it waiting to be picked up for 15-20 minutes before the driver turned up, he then had another drop off before delivering. I ended up waiting well over an hour for food at this restaurant which is an 8, yes 8 minute drive away. You would think that the most expensive set meal would be quality, but you would be wrong. Cheap supermarket microwave meals would have been of a better quality than this. The restaurant really let themselves down. The seafood mixed starter made up of the following was disgusting: satay prawns, squid, "cripsy" seaweed, prawn toast, butterfly king prawns. Everything was soggy, including the seaweed! It mostly ended up in the bin. We didn't eat the friend king prawns with brocoli - they tasted as if they had been boiler in water for 30 minutes. Completely vile. Straight to the bin. The mixed vegetables were wattery and flavourless. The egg fried rice was good. Surprisingly the mussles in black bean sauce were very good, still hot and not overcooked! This was the only part of the meal I was happy about. The lobster was clearly overcooked but still mostly edible. I have ordered from JinLi 3-4 times and it was normally good, this time however it was completely terrible. Had I been in the restaurant the food would have been sent back. Having paid £87 for the meal, I feel completely let down by this restaurant and ripped off. I don't think I'll ever be ordering from them again.

Unwelcoming, rude and food overpriced. I Was at Hillingdon hospital for treatment and wanted something to eat before I went back in. This is a dark miserable place that makes you feel like dirt on their shoes (apart from one young waiter) food I ordered: mixed starters (£15!) which were unappetising and egg fried rice and chicken in oyster sauce - total: £33 for one person! Totally overpriced and a horrible experience in a miserable place

Ordered online some traditional dishes, when food came I was very disappointed. I payed £10 got a meal and received it with out any sides, no salad, nothing! And the meat was dry. It recommend at all. Very upset and disappointed!

Spent nearly £300 and fish was so salty when complained was told it’s the recipe? I think its not the value for money at all.on the worst side asked for main plates and been told they run out so they gave us saucers very poor.

What a shambles! This restaurant seems to be taking full advantage of the Government’s Eat Out scheme, to the point of cramming more customers in than they should. We arrived on time for our reservation that had been made several days before, to be shown to a table that had clearly been wedged in as an afterthought. Jutting out into the aisle, with staff and customers walking past at close range, and one of the chairs less than a metre from the person sitting at the next table. Social distancing? I don’t think so! We asked to take another table, set back from the aisle, but was told it was booked (well, didn’t we book?). There was no way we could feel comfortable sitting at the table allocated, and after some unsympathetic words from the manager, we left in disgust. I’m not sure the management of this restaurant realise there’s been a pandemic. The seating arrangements looked just the same as when we were here pre-lockdown, apart from the table in the aisle offered to us. After a number of visits to the JinLi over the past few years, we will not be setting foot in the place again.

Great Chinese food but vastly overpriced. Delivery is dreadfully slow. We always add two hours to the expected delivery time. When you call the restaurant you are met with nonsense excuses that they are busy. They are seemingly always busy!

Bad experience from jinli uxbridge for delivery. We use to order from here before. This time they sent soup with pork. I used their website and ordered hot and sour soup normally it always come veg and charge 3.90 gbp. They charged 6.20 per soup. So 12.40 for two soups which had chicken and pork. I rechecked their website, it is £3.90. And manager was rudely arguing with me. Never going to order from again. The bill doesn’t mention either veg or pork. And why am I charged almost double for the item?

Ordered takeaway from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Phoned the restaurant first to ask about vegan options-they were so helpful and accommodating! The food was delicious. So good. I’m so happy. I had a vegan aubergine potato dish with vegan mushroom rice with peas. It was mouth wateringly good. The rice was perfection and they packed out the Tupperware box full to bursting. My fellas food was “lovely, really tasty” I’m so pleased to have found a decent chinese takeaway that does fresh and yummy vegan food. I highly recommend

Used to go as lunch menu very reasonable and good food, no lunch menu now, overpriced and not worth a visit to an empty restaurant with no atmosphere. Sad really as within walking distance from hospital so used to be brilliant for a treat lunch.

Reasonable service and the main courses were very tasty. The menu has a wide range of authentic dishes if you are adventurous!

We have been here several times for lunch and the lunch menu was good and fairly priced. We went today to find that they no longer did the lunch menu. When I asked why I got a wishy explanation about no time to cook it as they were busy and not worth it to them.We ordered from the main menu and after 25 minutes prawn crackers arrived. Then 5 minutes later the starters arrived. The restaurant was almost empty,I hate to think how long we would have waited if they had been busy. I asked for black pepper and was brought white pepper which I pointed out to be then told that is all they had. The main meal arrived and although quite nice was far to much for lunch so we ended up taking half of it home. When the bill arrived it had added 10% optional service charge. As the service was non existent I elected not to pay this. If you want to pop in for your lunch hour forget it, you will not have time to finish your meal. This food is just not worth the extortionate price they are charging. We shall not go there again

We arrived for lunch to find that they no longer did the lunch menu, with a long explanation why. Basically because it was quicker to not have it. So we ordered off the expensive menu and waited. After 25 minutes were were brought some prawn crackers.Then followed our starters and eventually our main course. The food was lovely but for a lunchtime meal we were there for about 80 minutes. The service was dreadful and the staff not that friendly. We will not be returning here.

Found this restaurant by chance and thought it was worth trying after looking at the menu on the website.Staff very friendly and attentive without being intrusive.All the dishes were good sized portions and very tasty. I was pleased to see a number of traditional dishes you would not normally find in restaurants outside of London.Keep up the good work JiLi , we hope to return soon .

Jinli is situated near the Hillingdon hospital and has lots of parking (no lights in the evening so be careful) . We happened to drive past it during the day and decided to come back in the evening. (It was quiet but we went on a Monday) It was nice and clean inside, big comfy chairs. We ordered the mixed salt and pepper starter to share... It was the best starter I've had in a long time! Prawns, ribs, chicken bites, chips and squid. For mains we ordered a variety of chicken and beef dishes. Again, these were tasty although I would have preferred a bit more chilli. Drinks were a bit pricey so we decided not to have them this time. All in all I would definitely recommend this place.

Finally found a great local Chinese restaurant with good quality Chinese food, decent portions and good service. Parking round the back also helps. Visited here three times already this month and we love it. See you soon!

Food was inedible and so overpriced it was a joke! Just shy of £100 for two and I only had two bottled beers as they had nothing on draught. Have been meaning to try the place for a while now but first and last time for me!!

Went on Saturday after going to twickenham for the army navy game. First time visit and we all enjoyed the food and the service. Attentive staff.

Ordered first time found food very average and very expensive too for Hillingdon restaurants ... and surprised they charged 2/3 pounds for delivery too ... NOT WORTH THE MONEY . SORRY 😐

Went as a party of eight , service and food was excellent. Nice relaxed atmosphere plenty of parking , portions large , will definitely be back

I travel a lot and eat out in restaurants a lot and was really but my latest experience at this restaurant left me so upset.

经常去锦里唐人街、今天回国大家一起来到锦里uxbridge分店。距T2才10分钟车程、在也不需要担心伦敦堵车时赶不上飞机的情况。吃饭也能吃得放心，他家后门有个超大停车场️。估计30台没问题的，餐厅环境优美，有风格。与一般中餐厅不同，我喜欢的类型。味道非常棒哦！

Food was tasty ,service was very nice .They have big car park,very very limited in London. I am never worried about parking.

Just had a family trip from Heathrow, it was a bit early to check in, so decided to have a meal, google the map and find this jinli restaurant, I had been to China town branch several times, this is first time find one near Heathrow, want to give it try, i was glad to this decision, food is good, staff is friendly, parking place is big, I was even thinking to have it go when I come back the trip. I highly recommended

The food was tasty (what little I had), but I was unable to order a complete meal due to the massively extortionate prices. Plus, they have some really weird stuff on the menu. Duck's blood? Seriously?

Delicious food though a little expensive. Large portions. I ordered an entree that needed rice to absorb the sauce. I assumed they would come together, but when I asked about it, was told that rice was extra. In the Chinese restaurants I go to in the US, rice is included automatically. Enjoyed the meal.

That big parking lot at the back, suits me so well that I wished I could be there having a luxury banquet! Instead I asked a SICHUAN DanDan noodle. The texture of noodle is soft with substance, slippery with the savoury and spicy minced pork soup. I could eat 2 portions because I didn’t have breakfast, however, it is just right for a taste of Sichuan.

The quantity and quality of food served was terrific. The dishes were beautifully presented and the flavours were excellent. The decor is clean and modern and still comfortable. The staff were attentive without being invasive. What’s not to like?

This is the closest we have found to the food we had in Beijing and Guangzhou in the none tourist alleys and streets the locals would eat in. To the point that it was taking me back to my time there (taste wise anyway) Very good service.

We dined here with friends on a Saturday evening and I strongly recommend that you book to avoid disappointment. The menu was extensive and we went for the set menu at circa £25 per head. What bumped the bill up considerably were the drinks and the wine prices in particular were well OTT.

First time coming here and straight from walking through the door this restaurant showed quality, staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful, they went through the menu and helped with recommending dishes to try yet didn't push you and allowed you to have time to look and have a drink.

Attentive service, good food. Generous portions, which you have surplus bagged up to go. They can cater for gluten-free, although I don't think they have wheat-free soy sauce yet. Great meal, thanks.

Fuimos por primera vez a Pield Heath, Jinli, anoche, (cerca de Hillingdon Hospital) la comida y el servicio era excelente. El personal es muy atento. Tuvimos el plato de mariscos que estaba AMAZZZZING! Y un menú fijo. Toda la comida era fresca y sabrosa. El único cambio que haría que el menú fijo es que tenía un plato de curry. Me - la próxima vez, pregunta si puedo cambiar por un plato de comida china. Aunque la preferencia sólo personal curry era muy sabrosa. Un poco caro, pero vale la pena la visita. Su ventaja para mí en mi ruta de autobús. Hay un montón de autobuses de U1, U3, U5 y varias otras descienda en el Hospital y caminar 3 minutos hasta el restaurante.

This is the best Chinese food that I have ever had. It’s great to have such a good restaurant near home. The food is genuine Chinese food not westernised. Great value fir money with a very good lunch set menu.

I have tried 2 times in China town and 1 time in Uxbridge, which never let me down! Also book a table for family in New Year Eve. Highly recommend Gongbao Chicken and Roast Fish

Muy concurrida en una noche de viernes, pero el menú fijo (no 3) que incluía entrantes mixtos y pato crujiente con era muy buena. La comida estaba fresca y picante y todos los platos eran sabrosos. Las opciones de vinos muy limitado y no opciones estupendas. El servicio era agradable aunque nos sentimos presionados al comienzo y al final de la comida ya que obviamente quería gire la tapa alrededor rápidamente. En general, una buena comida a un precio razonable y sin comer aquí.

Now visited three times. Reception is warm and friendly. The food is excellent with choices for the conservative and adventurous diner.

This is the place to go for Spicy Szechuan Food, many Chinese students rave about Jin Li and I can see why. If you enjoy spicy Chinese styled food, I highly recommend this place. The service could improve, but the food is amazingly spicy without it burning too much.

We were visiting family and friends in London. Four of us shared a love for good Chinese food and we made a reservation to go there on the evening of 24th August. We ordered five dishes and the only good one was the crispy duck. It was great. The rest of the food was inedible. It was super spicey and very salty. I know that Szechwan food is hot but this was overly spicey and salty. We did not eat it and complained to the waiter who didn't seem to care. He took the tip off the bill but still charged us for bead food we could not eat. We were at table 20.

Went in for a dinner service after dropping off relatives at Heathrow. It is a 15 minute drive from Heathrow. The ambience and the service at this restaurant was flawless. Food, even though the taste was very good, a bit more effort needs to be made on enabling the hotpot to retain the heat. the dish started to get cold very soon and hence lost its authentic flavours. Very easy to rectify this and hopefully they look into this. otherwise it is a very good establishment and can recommend for authentic Sichuan cuisine. £50 for two. Without drinks.

Third time i've been to this reztaurant and it really is the best chinese food i have ever had. Proper food, not e-number-and-msg-laden westernized chinese. Real authentic and tasty. My favourite is the salt and pepper squid. Sea bass also delicious. Not cheap but good food isn't!

Went to lunch should have realised something was wrong , we were the only customers.All we can say is the food was terrible absolutely tasteless.No flavour what so ever we left the meals because they were inedible they apologised and gave us 10% off the bill when really they shouldn't have charged for this very poor Chinese.We will never go again.They really didn't care that they were serving awful food .I would avoid this restaurant like the plague.

Every time when we want to have Sichuan food, we would go to Jin Li. We had visited many Sichuan restaurants in London but Jin Li does the best Sichuan food. We often order the same traditional Sichuan dishes - Chilli spicy sliced beef, Hot and Spicy fish filet and Sichuan Pork Loin in hot bean sauce. They were always delicious and the chefs have never let us down. (According to the manager, their chefs were originally from Sichuan province) The downside of this restaurants are the long queuing time and they don't serve cold drinks. There is always a long queue outside during school terms (majority of the people queuing are Chinese students) as it is possibly one of the most popular Chinese restaurant for Chinese students. If you don't reserve a table in advance, you might have to wait for hours to get a table. In addition, for some reason, their beer & coke are never cold. They always served warm beer and coke which I think is a bit of a joke!Highly recommended if you fancy hot and spicy Chinese food in London China Town.

We visited their new branch in Hillingdon which only opened three weeks ago. Very disappointed. Food was lovely but not the price. This is Hillingdon not China Town price was too expensive we paid for three people £77 and then they added service of £7. We left without paying it and left a cash tip instead. They ran outside ranting that it was illegal not to pay service unless agreed by the manager and it can not be removed. They forced us to pay for it! wont ever return avoid!!!!!

My fiancé and I ate at the restaurant last night. I'm originally from Sichuan and I was attracted by the fragrants coming from the restaurant. We ordered the 干锅, as many customers seem to have ordered it and that's where the problems started.The waiter served our order to the table behind us, then after a few minutes when that table had already started mixing and eating from our dish, he took it back to the counter and after half a minute brought it to us. The dish which had been beautifully piled was mixed around and I said to him 'but you've already served it to the table behind us' and he replied with a sheepish 'no'. My fiancé and I looked at the table behind us, their table was empty, and the waiter promptly took our dish away having realised he can't fool us. Then this was returned to the kitchen, the chef clearly wondered about the dish and came up to check with the staff. I presume the staff told him to the problem and he went downstairs. After 10-15minutes the dish returned, Luke warm and obviously had been cooked again, as the 干锅 was soggy rather than crisp as it should have been. They did make an effort to look like it's been cooked new. We ate it anyways as after the debacle we were starving. But thinking back we should have just walked out.I find this lack of integrity by the waitoring and the kitchen staff is absolutely unacceptable in this day and age. This is not China, I know people sometimes make mistakes, I wouldn't have mind if the other table had not touched our dish, but they clearly ate from it. How much would it have cost to just cook a new one? Profit should not go above professional decency and this lack of integrity and honestly is completely disgusting. As the dish was twice cooked, the food taste was poor, also the waiters forgot to get us water so we had a serve ourselves from the front.Needless to say, no matter how good the spices may have been, there are plenty of Sichuan restaurants which I have no encountered such a poor service at we will not be visiting again. It is places like this that bring shame on the Chinese people. It's a disgrace.

We always go for Chinese when we visit London. With so many it's difficult to pick. We chose this one because it was full of Chinese people eating. They kinda know their food way better than me so we went in. The staff speak a reasonable English and I would say don't have a great deal of other nationalities there but we managed to order what we wanted and weren't disappointed. I can honestly say it was the best Chinese food we have ever had. Exceptional quality. The simple beanshoots and noodles were oozing flavour. Crispy beef was outstanding. I can't rate the place enough. They have been open a year apparently and deserve better. We won't go anywhere else in future. EXCELLENT

Genuine Sichuan food if u like genuine chinese sichuan hot or spicy food, I would like to recommend this restaurant, Mala roast fish denfinetly need try, chef there has 30yrs experience. yummy yummy^^ staff is friendly and sweet, highly recommended ..

We booked this place with a group of friends, we did Karaoke for 4 hours and ordered plenty of food and drinks which costed us 25 pounds each.Food was quite good but the service can be improved! There was no telephone in the Karaoke room so you have to go down too the main restaurant floor to order food every time.The Karaoke machine had no English, so unless you go with Chinese speaking friends it might be a bit hard. The songs selection was good for Mandarin and Cantonese but not so much for English songs.The fire exit was blocked with stuff which needs to be sorted out soon I think!

The food was ok at best. The service by the staff was ok at best. The attitude of the boss was disinterested at best. Thankfully our evening did not hinge on our meal here. If it had we would have been very disappointed. At best.

We were a group of 11 on a Friday evening and overall we had a bit of a mixed experience. Food - We had the set menu (3) which had generous portions of tasty food, but pancakes were cold and a couple of dishes were too salty.Service - Polite and well timed, but very little English spoken which made booking the meal and then ordering a tad tricky.Ambiance - We were on the first floor and this room was in dire need of a refurb. Table cloths were clean but dragged onto the floor and under seats, heating was minimal and a door to the room kept banging.Overall with the set menu and 4 Bottles of well priced and pleasant wine, especially the Merlot, it came to £30 a head with service. Would eat here again if in a large party but for smaller groups and couples will stick to Y Ming in Greek street.

It was a great meal and was on offer so that made it good value, although I did pay for 2 adults when in fact it was me and my 6 year old daughter. You can chose which items you would like to put in the pot and order more as needed. I recommend this dish especially if there is a group.

Normally we eat next door which is excellent but tried this place for a change. Aromatic crispy duck was dry and bland. Beef with green peppers was fine but the special fried rice was made with what looked like luncheon meat and a few tiny prawns. Would not come again.

I went there to do hot pot because the weather turned a bit chilly. I was happy with the soup but I wish the place can work on their selections especially when they charged 27 pounds for each person. The workers are polite.

On the hottest night in July, some friends and I gathered here for a meal and to our surprise, there is a name change and menu change. The management is still the same so our booking was still ok. We probably would not have chosen sichuanese cuisine on such a hot day but we decided to go with it.Ok, these things happen but perhaps the situation could have been better managed by the staff. They were quite indifferent and insisted we were pre-informed of the change. This was not true. And considering that we were their first customers for this first week of change, nothing special was done for us, even though we were returning customers of their former China City. Never mind.We were handed a small new Sichuanese menu and advised that it is a working menu and it will improve. There were lacking of starters and set menus. There is still a small selection of lunchtime dishes. It is very catered for oriental people as the food included a lot of offal. Most of us have been to China so that was not a problem, but we chose to avoid these dishes that night.The food was good and not too hot. The hot dishes contained pieces of chillies so we could pick them out. Some dishes were unusual and nice, and others I would not want to have again.I understand that it was not busy enough so they made a cuisine and name change. If you ask me, it was not the food that was the problem. The chef can cook. It is the decor that lets the place down. Customer care can be better. It is very 90's and run down and does not look appealing from the street level. The location does not help. Not sure becoming more specialised sichuanese cuisine will help. But GOOD LUCK.
