We moved to the area last year and still haven’t found a Chinese takeaway that we all love. Tonight, We wanted to try out a new one. We chose wing li - and WHAT A MISTAKE! We ordered £47 worth of food for the family, which included sweet and sour chicken balls, two lots of chicken fried rice, satay chicken, chips, egg fried rice, bbq sauce, and a pancake roll. The satay chicken was just a bunch of chicken in a sweet and sour like sauce with lots of veg and little bits of peanut - only had hints of a real satay chicken. The chips were like fries, not proper Chinese chips, while the sweet and sour sauce itself looked curdled with little bits (not sure what they are) floating around in it. The “egg” fried rice tasted like just boiled rice fried for a couple of seconds. The quotation marks on the egg in the previous sentence was because the egg fried rice didn’t have any egg in it. The pancake roll was mushy as well as very very salty. And finally the bbq sauce was like a thick balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Nothing like bbq sauce whatsoever. To us, it was an absolute waste of almost £50 and I would not recommend whatsoever. I ended up giving the dog the egg fried rice and even he didn’t eat it - so that’s really saying something! However, if you do order from here, I hope your food was better than ours, or you’ll be going really hungry! Ps: the pic is of the sweet and sour sauce 🤮

My night at the dragon king. Well first off, I entered to a fairly empty restaurant with little to no ambiance. A restaurant void of customers shows something about the place. I grab some slimy, sloppy wet chicken and tuck into my dinner. The food was decent other than the chicken, however, my dragon king experience was ruined by some teenage boys. I look up after hearing a crash of cutlery and see a block of jelly on my table, presumably coming from some teenage boys sat in the corner. Would recommend for a quick meal. :)

Booked for a large group celebration. Good selection of food. Buffet style but you order what you want from the menu. Lots of choices and all arrived hot, with plenty to choose from. Staff were friendly and attentive. We took our own birthday cake and they were happy to provide knife, plates, forks etc. First time coming, but would definitely return.

Food was good, service not so great which is why we chose not to pay the full service charge they had already added to the bill! My daughter was our taxi driver for the evening and as there was a small portion left we thought it might be nice for her to have a little treat once she had dropped everyone off but we were refused a takeaway box which is the first time I have been anywhere that does that! Apparently prefer to throw it in the bin! Won’t be going back as staff were not very pleasant

I think this was the owner but not 100% sure he was so rude, we parked on their very large forecourt, as soon as we walked in he said you can’t park there, we said we have not blocked anyone in, if he wanted to keep it clear for delivery driver that was fine as there was enough space, he didn’t even look at us he just said move your car now and park somewhere else, this restaurant is never busy reviews are really bad and that is definitely down to the staff they definitely need training on customer service, anyway walked out of the restaurant with probably 10 people eating and went to a marvellous Chinese not to far away at Warley golf range. and had a fabulous meal .
