Had the house special rice and Pancake roll, the rice was tasteless, the Pancake rolls were over cooked, I just scooped out the filling, I went there as it had good reviews, but would never return.

As it's a takeaway atmosphere isn't relevant but the food is, but sadly this fell far from expectations. Poorly prepared and small portions.

A great takeaway. We always enjoy pur meals from here. We tend to order in advance by phone then collect but they're always very quick. We have found the food really good and consistent. Service efficient and friendly, we have used them for the last 9 years and will continue to! Thanks Unicorn House :)

Food here is always good. Would definitely recommend. Normally come for lunch on a Friday. Served quickly and always had enjoyable

Food is exactly what you'd expect in quality and price for a standard local chinese takeaway. Perfectly acceptable. Food was hot. They gave us free prawn crackers which was a nice little bonus.

Its 2022 and they still dont accept card payments. Something very odd going on. No one carries cash anymore so having to go to a cash machine purely to have a Chinese is ridicolous

Omg!! Totally the worst ever takeaway . The food are cold and greasy. No customer service at all. Used to be excellent when the young chap was there before they changed hand.

Best chips in the local area, happily drive an extra 10 mins just to get them from here

I quite disappointed with the food. I order only 3 dish. When got home only take 5 minutes. The food all cold. I think this takes away had already fried rice sometimes before hand. When customers order he or she just put in the containers. Instead to do fresh fried every time when customers order. To keep the food hot and fresh. But unfortunately he or she just wants quickly and easy for them. They don’t really care what the customers satisfaction. The chicken also had fried before then just do the sauce fresh. I would not recommend this take away at all.

Have been coming to Unicorn House since it first opened, probably 40 years plus. It's had its ups and downs but tonight was just awful. The worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Unless I hear of a marked improvement I will not be using again.

Ordered a couple stir fries and egg fried rice, stir fries were lacking flavour unfortunately.

Well ,what can I say ,,the interior inside is bland and scruffy ,dirty as well ,, the lady that served me was not very welcoming at all ,,,quick service,,when I asked politely for a fork the lady just walked away, she heard me ,,then after my persistence she gave me one ,not a polite person ,,food ok ,,won’t be going back there again, EVER !!!

Not very good these days which is a shame because it used to be very good. All the food seems to be processed.

A great Chinese takeaway. The food is always spot on. So good that we often take it to my family in Cottenham in preference to ordering from the Cottenham takeaway. Be aware: Cash only, but there's a free cash machine at the nearby Tescos.

Went since new lockdown started and it's the safest indoor takeaway I've seen with the full screen up compared to the lacking ones of other venues. Bring cash though.

This Chinese take away is horrendous. Food ordered was dry and chewy. Chicken inside chicken balls was burnt inside. Shredded beef was chewy and I nearly chocked on one piece. I gathered that it must have been reheated. I also thought I might get food poisoning and stopped eating. Called them not happy about the quality of the food which ended up being £25 paid in cash. They have very poor customer service as they questioned as to whether we perhaps waited a long time to eat (therefore dry), then they asked whether this is the first time we eat Chinese (course not!), when we told them that the food wasn't edible they made us come all the way back to show them, just to question some more to which point we have felt to have to justify ourselves and what we were doing at the time...(The Chef was getting everything translated and was not friendly at all, his facial expression was very arrogant as if we needed this on a fine Saturday evening before Christmas!!!)...... only to turn round and say that they won't refund any of the money back. Waste of money waste of time, this people should close down!

Usual Chinese menu, but done well. Nice food and looks clean and well maintained. Quick and pleasant service.

Friendly staff, clean shop and tasty food. They customise the orders even for vegetarian who take no eggs. Highly recommend their aubergines in black bean sauce if made spicy and chow mein. It is a busy take away but we have ordered and got food usually within 20 mins. Easy to locate, this is a popular choice in Milton.

Stopped by Unicorn house in Milton with a friend, he chose to go next store to the fish and chip shop whilst I stuck with my choice and ordered set meal 1. The beef with vegetables was really bad the texture of the beef they had decided to give me was unbearable. The chicken balls and sweet and sour was equally as bad the texture of the meat meant it was clearly very low quality, as I bit into one the chicken wasn’t soft but more rubber like and the meat chose to stay in one piece as it came clean out of the batter. For me this was unedible I threw the whole thing away. Money wasted. I know I shouldn’t have the highest expectations for a Takeaway place and the quality of food served but I this was unbearably bad.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I ever had. Good choice of food at reasonable prices. Cooked to order and still hot when I get home 4 miles away.

Excellent food, ready in 10 minutes and reasonably priced. Pity I live 250 miles away or I would love to order here again. Would recommend kung po prawns and special chowmein

(Lunch Menu) So today i had the crispy chilli beef with Egg Rice. i don't think i have EVER had a dish with so much garlic in. (i have eaten crispy beef from numerous places i'd like to add) My colleagues at work were commenting on the smell. I was dragging so much of it to the side of the plate and my colleague said... i think they may have gone a little over the top. i WILL use this Chinese again, but will never order that dish from there again. Better Luck next time........
