Ordered Chicken with vegetables and fried rice. Food was good. Order was made quickly. I should have asked for a fork or chopsticks. Recommended.

Small portions. Should be at least double, considering the price. They take advantage there is nothing else around.

The app is so bad and they don't even deliver to you. It is so inconvenient that the website is not even stable and it doesn't even let me pay for it. Worst unprofessional food business ever.

The taste of the food is below average and needs a lot of improvement. The meal deals at Morrisons are way better.. This place definitely has a huge scope for improvement.

Some items are great such as deep fried pepper chicken. Good service. However lot of the items are not close to authentic. For example kung pao chicken and several others. I have tasted yummy Chinese food on several occasions in USA and other countries which I loved. The one I have here, is super sub optimal. Sweet and no flavours. Can do better. No offence. Thanks

This Chinese place is the best place iv been to for Chinese, it's out of this world with amazing flavours and it's always hot and tasty. The staff here are brilliant,chatty, professional.

We recently started to come here. We enjoy the food so we keep going back. This is not a restaurant it is a takeaway only. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Prices are not over expensive but not the cheapest. The quality however is good. There are a few chairs to sit on while you wait. We normally park in Morrisons and walk round.

The sweetness is to the extent that you feel like you are eating a dessert not a dinner! I can’t comment on their other foods since I only tested Set Menu For Two, extremely sweet, we had to throw it away

Special Fried rice was not special- nothing tasty about it. Sauce around Spare ribs was scarce of taste. Quantity instead of quality! Disappointed because we had high expectations

I have lived here for 4 years, and today I made an order for the first time. I ordered - 1. Deep Fried Chicken with Salt and Pepper - The chicken was very dry, but I know I won't order it anymore 2. Chicken Chow Mein - It was tasty and very hot when picked up, but I think that the portion for this price is very small compared to others. And I've tried a lot to the area where I live 3. Roast Duck with Mushroom - I am not a fan of duck but this was for my partner who loves this dish, He was a little disappointed because the portion of the duck was very small compared to the mushrooms, There were 4 very small pieces of duck to 8 pieces of mushrooms So unfortunately we will not order it again 4.Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style- Option: Extra Hot - It was the best sweet and sour sauce I have tried, the chicken was also good and I think that thanks to this dish alone our dinner was saved, I recommend it and I will order it every time

Food ok...ish. more concerned about the chef in a really dirty tee shirt who was picking noodles out of the dish he was preparing with his hands. The girl serving was wearing her out door coat, and dirty clothes on the countertops used by them all for wiping hands, surfaces and the bottom of containers. The hygiene standards made me feel slightly queasy, flip side that, at least you could see what they were doing, unlike other take aways. I'm not OCD by any means, but if anything would stop me from going back, it would be that chef with no apron, in dirty looking clothes with a stained tee shirt! (*shudders at the thought*)

The best Chinese food in the world

Do not be tempted by this being the only Chinese in cambourne, absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. Chips were barely cooked and chicken was raw and could not be eaten. Ribs were dry and next to no meat on them. No email address to write a written complaint to either.

I ordered from cambourne Chinese tonight for the first time in a long time, since having a bad takeaway. Chicken Curry- was very thick and tasteless Chips - 100% reheated Chicken balls- over cooked and cold Veg Spring rolls- nice Chicken chow main- very nice Beef and mushroom- Very nice

Love this takeaway reasonable prices, food is always amazing. Try the muscles they are delicious and the biggest things i have ever seen!! The squid is also really tasty never over cooked!! 😋

What a disappointment for a birthday treat!! Everything had an awful taste, shredded beef looked like a dog treat!! I would give no stars if I could! Never ever again!!!!!!

Never again. We used to go to this place but never again. Twice in a row we ordered food and the containers were half full. Only the chow mein actually filled the containers. Talk about trying to increase profit margins!!! This is not the way to do business... just increase your prices? Otherwise your customers come home expecting to be able to feed x number of people only to find that everyone's left hungry. Furthermore the quality is terrible. Avoid...

I do really love the food from here. I've been coming for years and always have been served great food. I knocked off a star because the interior where you order and collect looks very rundown and not appealing.

Hit and miss We go here because there isn't much choice in Cambourne. I would recommend the noodles. (Duck noodles were excellent.) Sweet and sour chicken balls were also very good. Don't get anything with 'fresh' prawns. They always taste stale. Definitely not fresh. We brought prawn toast and prawn balls. These were a bit questionable and I didn't allow the kids to eat in case of tummy ache.

Every time I get a takeaway from Wokswagon I'm always planning my next 1. Foods amazing and they are good people. Would recommend

Not sure what has happened here. Been visiting for over 6 years. It used to be consistently 'OK' takeaway but the last 3 visits have had to go in the bin. Soaking in oil, not fresh and just not the right recipe. The lemon chicken itself is ok but the sauce is closer to lemon flavoured medicine. The vegetable noodles smell and look like they are made with decomposing veg and also swimming in oil. The egg fried rice is such a simple thing to cook, how come it is brown and tasteless these days? Is it under new ownership? Please fix it.

Very good. First take away in months. Definitely will have again. The shredded beef was awesome and the Singapore noodles.

Good food Update.... This place has seriously upped it's game... Blown away by the quality... Definitely recommend. Last 4 takeaways have been amazing... Dishes saying crispy are actually crispy!! Good potions, no grease... lots of flavour.... Brilliant

Ok food, large portions. I very much do not like that its cash only, its unrealistic with a family order that comes to say £40 to have the cash. Everyone has to pay tax and I hope cash sales are not an avoidance.

Ordered food tonight, the food was late when picking it up. This was not a problem, the problems started once we realised food was missing. Mistakes happen, so I called up and said there was some of the order missing. We order the same each time, so know the price etc. At this point the staff became rude, hung up after saying 'I'm too busy for this sh#t' (there was only me and another chap in there). Called them up again and the lady answered, saying she checked the receipt and it wasn't ordered but would get the manager to call back. The manager called back, didn't listen to our query with an already made answer. Then sent a rude text. It was only 6 quids worth of food, but it is the principle. Trying to support local business and this is what you get! I'll be ordering from Papworth in the future.

Very poor service. Some of the order was missing, when I called to query the staff member hung up on me. Will not go back aagain. The Chinese in papworth is better.

Without a doubt the best Chinese in this part of UK, reasonable pricing,good staff, and the food awesome 2 years ago this was by far the best Chinese In the area. Recently I have noticed a staff change maybe new owners but the prices have increased and the portions have taken a huge dive my last few orders of salt and pepper squid were bulked out with onions and red chillies with the smallest amount of squid bearly enough to cover the bottom of the container. Very unimpressed. Shame to take on such a good going concern then try to change it.. look at the reviews gone from 5* to very low, wonder if they care.

Have used ever since first opened, will not be using again as girl on desk rude put phone down on my son and me and would not believe Booth was our name even when spelling phonetically. Even when popped in would not believe Booth was correct name. So until change will not be using...

Absolutely disgusting. Not a single thing we ordered was even good (5 adults with 2 to 5 things each). We threw over half of it in the bin. The prawn crackers were tinged yellow with how much oil was in them. Everything was coated. The meat was clearly old and just heated from a freezer. Tough and bland with dishes so deep in oil I felt sick just looking at it. We ordered online with 2 hours or so until pickup and it was still 15 minutes late too with no apology. Never go here.

The food is great here and they are really quick. You have to phone in the order and collect. The peking spare ribs are really nice. Best days to order are tuesdays/wednesdays.

Great helpful staff. Quick service. Food was good and worth the money. We ordered dry salt and chilli chicken, chicken and sweetcorn soup, blackbean udon noodles and Singapore noodles.

Excellent customer service. Speedy transactions. Last Saturday night I needed a super quick takeaway service. They made it happen!! Food was excellent. As my daughter and I are vegetarians we are well catered for. They take cash only but with several cash machines literally around the corner if you don’t have cash this lack is a non-issue for this business. I like the open kitchen situation and the professional approach to each customer. I highly recommend them! Keep up the good work Woks Wagon!!

We eat takeaway now n again now. Friendly staff, I find if you are a regular the service is good no matter what take away iv been too. The only thing I would say sometimes it's not very hot, the chips don't seem to be very fresh

Having worked at other Chinese takeaways before, I have to say this one is one of the best in town. Recommended dish: special fried rice. Pros: speed: For takeaways, speed is of the essence. The chefs are quick and efficient and they make their food fresh for you Cleanliness: clean, open view kitchen Cons: Doesn't do deliveries

Seems a bit of a weird location, but the food here wasn't too bad. Hearing mixed reviews from local residents did not help me . Not many places to get a Chinese takeaway so kind of just left with this if your local. From my own view, the food was not as bad as some of the locals may suggest. but its not the same as some of the other Chinese's I have had before. Left with being the only option for the area I would say that this is just okay.

We have now got take aways from this place few times. The food is very reasonable and delicious. It is not super amazing quality but it is very decent and I will continue to use them when I fancy Chinese. They have also accommodated my special requests when I have asked them. Generally would gladly recommend.

Wokswagon is my regular chinese takeaway. While not fine dining, it has a good selection of food, is reasonably priced, good sized portions, and reasonably quick- I have been quoted from 10mins (mid week) to 30mins (Saturday night) for pick up after ordering by phone. I have not tried ordering and waiting in person. They do not deliver themselves. Food quality- the main dishes are good- I have had better and worse; but the spring rolls are excellent. Note: they are cash only, but there is an all night cash point just round the corner at Morrisons.

Food here is tasty and well cooked. Portion size is just right and never left hungry. Would recommend phoning order through in advance and generally only have to wait 10-15 mins. No card payments now which is a bit annoying,

One of the best takeaways I've had. Quite a long wait, but worth it. Highly recommended to call in advance to place your order. Cash only!

As the headline states a wait time that was totally unacceptable, no mention was made of the extended wait times when the money was collected for what was essentially a small order. Also communication nothing more than a 'fob off' when trying to chase the order and seek a status update. To make matters worse one of the containers was supplied cracked and damaged containing some of the food (picture uploaded) that clearly highlights a lack of care and professional service. The food quality was no more than average. After this wait time there will be no return visit.

Efficient service, enough chairs to sit whilst you wait for your order.

Huge portions, for reasonable price.

We live in Cambourne and have used Wokswagon once or twice a month. We have always been very satisfied with the food and service. Staff friendly. Will keep using. Free delivery in Cambourne would be good.

The service is brilliant,it's really good value for money.I would recommend this take away. I phoned my order through when I arrived at the time they said my food was ready. The food was really tasty will be going again.

Ordered the food, and when we arrived home we noticed quite a bit was missing. The problem was we were too far away to return. The food was ok, not to their normal standard. We will find another take away to visit when in the area.

We use Wokswagon every now and then and usually it is just about passable but the last couple of times have been poor. The food is greasy now. We'll stick with the Papworth alternative which is much more consistently 'average' than Wokswagon.

Nice food but shop run down but don't let that put you off

Love these guys... food is awesome and service great (yes you have to wait a bit longer at weekends but that is to be expected... telephoning in your order can help speed up process, but bear in mind phone line can be busy too... keep trying though and you’ll get through soon enough) - they work so hard and always have a smile for their customers! (Would also like to add how clean the kitchen and premises are - and as I work in the food industry also this is always something I take note of!)

Most of the time the food is spot on but last visit has put me off for a bit so I’m now using somewhere else in Papworth

We have had very good food from this Chinese takeaway in the past. There is a wide menu. The food is freshly cooked. Last visit was disappointing. We had 2 dishes with Satay sauce which was not what we expected. The chicken was also dodgy. Portions also seem to be getting smaller. They used to give you loads

The food here is always fantastic and the service is good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese.
