The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

You need Gordon Ramsay to sort your cooking skills out the curry was like water the ribs was dry and watery the chips was burnt never in my life have I experienced such un loved cooking skills

The crispy shredded beef is very nice, but pretty much everything else we had was absolutely vile. The salt and chilli chips weren't seasoned whatsoever, and neither were the chicken wings, which tasted like something you'd buy from Iceland. The curry was like a tasteless ready meal and wasn't advertised to contain mushrooms. If I had known how vile the curry was going to be, I wouldn't have bothered wasting the time picking out the mushrooms that were more numerous than the meat. But the worst thing had to be the sesame prawn toast, which was simply very greasy fried bread with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. This place came highly recommended but I'd say it's the worst chinese food I've ever had, to the point 90% of it went in the bin.

If I could give this no stars I would! My wife ordered food they took the money and never got the food! She was told she would get a refund but never did! She's tried ringing them back but no one will answer anymore.. fuming 😡

Order 15 minutes early not overly hot. Expensive but cheap ingredients

Food was tastless and over cooked.... hard chick balls, hard chips, rice was stuck together from being heated in a microwave... found a chunk of plastic in my rice.. will not be ordering from here again!!

Had loads of takeaways over the past few years. Always on time, foods good. Wife is gluten free and they always accommodate.

Used to order delivery many times for three of us and always no complaints, we loved the food. However today, we placed the order for home delivery as usual, and an hour and a half later they changed status to denied due to "TOO_BUSY"!!! OK, we placed another order two hours later and after one hour waiting they again denied!!! 😡😡😡 No message sent, we knew that after checking the account and status update!!! Really bad service and bad customers treating!! We will think twice before ordering another time!!

A fantastic take-away! I use Magic Valley at least twice a month and the food is always great. I collect so can't comment on what the delivery service is like. The food is always prepared quickly. Have had a couple of issues over the 3 years I've been using them but they've sorted the problem straight away so I'm happy to continue using and recommending them.

Food was very nice and good quality great selection lots to choose from will definitely visit again. Really enjoyed the dumplings and the chicken curry good flavour the Thai green curry had just the right amount of spice.

Tried this for the first time and it’s amazing! Best Chinese in long Eaton. Everything was hot, the rice was fresh and fluffy. The chicken was good quality. Got a few dishes and the quality was consistent with all of them.
