Had loads of takeaways over the past few years. Always on time, foods good. Wife is gluten free and they always accommodate.

Ordered mushroom foo yung got bog standard omelette was like rubber bad stomach ever since won’t be going there again rather pay delivery from Retford

Ordered some egg fired rice and BBQ spare ribs a few nights ago the rice was delicious and cooked to perfection. Well done chef! and the ribs are always good with a generous amount of sauce in there.

Most enjoyable meal tonight. The duck was done to perfection. Compliments to the chef. Thank u all.

Waited over 2 hours for warm! (Not hot) food, they forgot an item, when we called, said they had put it in, no they didn't.. they did deliver the missing item, but all in all, I will not order again! I could have brought a weeks shop with what it cost. Waste of time and money.

We live in low marnham and this is the only Chineese that will deliver to us, it’s absolutely terrible no flavour at all. God knows how they stay in business by far the worse Chinese I’ve ever had. Definitely 100% all just cooked at the beginning of the week and warmed up

Absolute garbage. Delivery time stated 1 HR hadn't arrived after nearly 2 hrs so rang to make sure my order had gone through. Was told it would be 10 minutes. 30 minutes after my phone call the food arrived and was barely warm. Chicken in the sweet and sour was dry and stringy. Crispy beef was missing the beef and the batter tasted greasy and fishy. Needless to say a complete waste of £32.90 Would definitely not recommend and will never use again. In fact my husband even said after eating this rammal he will never order a Chinese again!

The best takeaway we have had in Nottinghamshire since we moved up to Newark 7 years ago, well cooked chips and a perfect chicken curry with egg fried rice. Delivery was under the hour we were told. First class will order from you again.

The worst chinese take away I have had. No flavour, very little ingredients. Will not return even though this is our most local Chinese.

A tasty takeaway, friendly staff and reasonable price

We've had takeaway from here a couple of times recently. The food was hot and fresh and really tasty. Good portions and definitely worth the money

Good food but cash-only is limiting in these days where contactless is king.

Disappointed. We had set meal B for 2 ppl. We were charged an extra £1 to change a dish as I'm allergic to mushrooms but the dish we got instead also contained mushrooms even though we told the girl on the phone I was allergic. The meal for 2 was so small! We normally get set meals for 1 (elsewhere) and just order some ribs on the side and we usually have loads left for the next day but I think one person could easily eat this meal for two! So portions are way too small! The sweet and sour container was actually only half full! I am curious how big the dinner for One is??? The beef in oyster sauce smelt like urine, so we didn't finish, the other dishes were just ok. Won't be returning, sad to see the Indian is now closed here so will have to stick with the fish and chips from next door.

Ordered online to pick-up @ 18:45, stood waiting until 19:10 for food to arrive. On the upside, food was great.

I've been to China many times and the food there is fantastic. I didn't expect much from this establishment but I do wish that I could find something more authentic. I often wonder whether it is the clientele that drive the need for the tasteless, monotonic dishes or are the proprietors too afraid to stray from the well beaten path of the familiar menu and create something great. When I find a place that dares to do better I'll be the first to give it a 5 star rating.

I have been to far better chinese takeaways but I have also been to many much worse. Its average at best. You can order and pay online, but if you pay at the counter its cash only, no card! The menu is good and varied as you'd expect, the portion sizes are good too, but the food is just average.

Halved the portion sizes due to the cost of living going up. I'm sorry, but I would rather have a price increase then this. Look at the pictures. That's a chicken fried rice.... Pathetic! This is there new 'large' size. I'll have to find somewhere else now.

We had king prawn satay sauce last night and found it a little too sweet for our tasting other than that the meal was very good would have another meal from them

Shockingly bad. Ordered at 19:24 finally arrived at 21:08 questionably warm. When we rang to question why we were told 45 minutes the female on the other end of the phone said “it’s just what I get told”. This was our first time using this chinese as there are two other very good Chinese restaurants in the area. But we thought we’d give them a try as geographically it’s closer. Sadly never again.

The food was plain and tasteless. Squid was rubbery. Worst chinese I think I have ever had. First & last time ordering from here - definitely won't be ordering again. Was not worth £36.

Shoddy Delivery Servce,and they have the cheek to charge for it !!! Ordered from here purely for convenience and supporting local businesses,Don’t Bother,average food once again and had to chase both deliveries up as that were over 30 minutes late and turned up lukewarm,excuse first time was the online ordering system,so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again directly by phone and the food was even later !!!

We ordered from here for our anniversary meal, to try somewhere new and as my husband was working late, we wanted a delivery. The one star is simply because the food was delivered on time. The food was dry and tasteless and the curry sauce appeared to have been made from powder - gelatinous and bland. My husband added sweet chili sauce to his sczechuan because it simply tasted of nothing. Never, ever again.

Prawn toast was barely prawn flavoured, and had the texture of paper. Chicken in chicken chow mein had the texture of frozen chicken and was revolting. Spring rolls had nowhere near enough filling in and outer coating was terribly hard. Chips were alright. Really really would not recommend this place.

Great good, probably the best Chinese I've had for years, never had a bad order and we get it most months.

Had takeaway tonight the best I have every had, prawn in green pepper and black bean sauce, my partner had king po special absolutely fantastic 10out of 10

Delivery was quick to say we are in the middle of nowhere. However the food was bland and dry. Totally tasteless. Curry sauce was watery. Wasn’t worth £52 at all.

One of the best Chinese takeaways that I've been to, very impressed.

The worst chinese ever. Strange tasting food. The satay has never been a satay. Who puts cucumber and pineapple in satay. Noodles swimming in grease. NEVER AGAIN oh and turned up 30minutes late.

Visited 3 times now over last couple of months , on all occasions the food is excellent, well cooked and fresh at a fair price. Portions are large, well worth a visit.

Just ordered beef, green pepper in black bean sauce, chicken schazwan n special fried rice, bland, no taste if you like onions then it's for you because very little meat £21.40 never again

Been using this take away for some time & not had a bad meal yet, worth the 20 mins round trip to pick up & nicer than the Chinese on my doorstep.

Have lived in Tuxford for almost 2 years but hadn't tried here until tonight. Was a little dubious because of some of the reviews, however it was absolutely delicious! I had lemon chicken and plain chew mein and my boyfriend had special fried rice with sweet and sour chicken balls. Loads of food, all arrived hot and fresh. Delivered in the specified time frame, and loads of prawn crackers too. We will be ordering regularly now 👌🏻

Fresh nice food, lovely service and staff, Delivery man is always so friendly and polite always on time! Normally order on a Saturday night always fast and normally get the same guy delivering Lee, makes a refreshing change to be greeted with, good manners and a friendly smile!!

Very bad place back door open rats coming in, not fresh stuff. Bad rude staff. The food went to the bin. It's a disappointing place. And the rats it's turn me off, when I was waiting for the food I see them on the back door

Stopped for a quick carry out while driving north on the A1. Very handy and quick, the dishes we had were tasty and fresh.

I had sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and house special chow mein. All very nice. No complaints. Really busy and seemed organised with all of the orders.

Been eating there for years. Good prices and good portions.

Had our first attempt at a takeaway from here while visiting parents. Food is really nice and very friendly staff as well.

Have been going here for many years. The new owners always serve up lovely food. Cash only is fine for me but I have seen it an issue for others. Young girl serving is not very professional especially when her child is running riot. Sometimes we get large delays and on a phone order it's a little annoying but not a show stopper. I have not had a better Chinese in Nottinghamshire.

Always a good 'go to' when a take away is in order, personally we've never had any issues, always the correct order and handy to be able to order and pay online then collect at your specified time - still had to wait a couple of times when they've been busy - not a problem, nobody died as a result.

Great food, however my order was late and from the outside this place doesn't look great, by good food as said and good value.

Everything was hot and as ordered. We like the chips they serve. The service is quick and cooked to order. Comparative to other take-always the price was reasonable.

Greasy, cheap ingredients and disinterested staff....sort of place you go when living in the village you can't drive and have no choice...

Tenía un ápice de llevar esta Tuxford china. En resumen, el pato crujiente tenía el pepino y Spring onion perdiendo así como la salsa hoy pecado, las tortitas eran todos pegados juntos y inutilizable. Luego tuvimos la comida de yung arroz frito con salsa curry, ambos estaban asqueroso pasada y grasienta. La salsa curry era insípido, que debe ser difícil de lograrlo!! El peor llevar que he tenido.
