Food is absolutely amazing had some sweet sour chicken loved it owners are really kind not great fan off the chips always boiling hot but can’t really say that’s a complaint as most places are often cold

Try'd all the Chinese takeaways in Worksop and I'd probably say this is the best Chinese so far. Reasonable priced. And lovely tasting food. Definitely recommend

Chicken chow mien nearly all bean sprouts hardly any noodles and chicken and very salty…my partner’s meal special curry was disgusting the pork was not cooked very chewy and hard…will not be going back very disappointed

Cash only and then you get shortchanged, I got taken for 50p so never returned.

Although the food is always good the wait is always, always so long. I ordered for collection. I was told the order would take 30 minutes and I arrived 29 minutes later. I waited another 30 minutes before I was handed my food.

A decent little takeaway. The food is pretty good and as good as most other Chinese takeaways I've been to. The service & turn around of food is quick. Every time I've ordered it's ready in 10-15 minutes. One of the major benefits going for it is the parking. It's on Celtic Point so there's lots of it so no driving round trying to find a space at the side of the road like some....

Nice food but expensive and cash only

Tried this place for the first time never again! Delivery was over one and a half hours late so meal was cold. Ordered special chow mein and special fried rice trust me nothing special as hardly anything in them. SHOCKING CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!

Tried this place for the first time and it will be our last! Delivery over a hour and a half late so food was cold. Ordered two specials let me tell you they were nothing special at all Very little content absolutely rubbish. If you want a decent takeaway delivered look elsewhere

Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with the response when I call chinese tonight after my delivery was delivered wrong we asked for no onions of which onions were in both chow main meals of which none of out family like onions in our food I did ask no onions and repeated wen order called back no onions at all the young girl on phone tonight tried saying I didn't say that when the owner who till tonight I thought was lovley didn't want to know she was adamant was my fault tried saying I hadn't said no onions so the 2 meals straight in the bin nothing worse when you don't like onions can definitely taste onions on the food needless to say I'm no wot I said so that unfortunately it for me I will take my £40 plus somewhere else that won't basically call me a lier shame cos till now always enjoyed my food from there but carnt afford to just throw it in the bin cos person on phone couldn't do it right

Good food, come here often. However they could take more care with how they pack their food, a full tray of soy sauce that wasnt sealed properly leaked in my bag that ruined some books and some of my clothes.

Price is very reasonable and the service is efficient. Unfortunately, I found the food greasy and lower quality than I'd hoped. It's not terrible, it's just below average 4 out of 10 at best.

Very disappointed on my Chinese last night ordered sweet sour chicken Cantonese style the chicken pieces came in batter I asked no batter when I rung up they said all their Cantonese comes in batter never heard that before but the dogs enjoyed it

It's a Chinese Takeaway.... The Menu is Vast spoilt for choice really. The meal that was ordered was prepared very quickly and was as expected

One of the best Chinese meals I have had. Asked for an 8pm delivery .... to Shireoaks marina as we are on a boat on the canal. Driver rang me as he left the shop and I walked up to the gate .... Excellent food excellent service ... also girl taking the order very helpful, as we are not from the area and didn't have a menu ...

We ordered the other night sweetcorn soup which was nice but a bit bland. King prawn bamboo shoots and water chestnuts., king prawn with king po sauce. Totally disgusting both dishes cooked in a light gravy, totally tasteless. Throw everything in the bin. Definitely will not waste my money there again.

New to the area & ordered from here tonight for the first & last time. BBQ spare ribs were okay, prawn toast was was a bit hit & miss with some bits being nice & others very overcooked & greasy but the Chicken chow mein was nasty, very dark like it had been cooked in old or overly used oil & didn’t taste very nice at all. Most of my meal ended up in the bin, I certainly won’t be ordering from here again.

Cannot fault, have travelled the world, As far as flavour goes exceptional, service never had a problem, YES they ONLY take cash, but with so much fraud can you blame them? I fell foul but know their reasons why. The owner is also a cook so perhaps why we get a Great / excellent service...

Just had the best Chinese takeaway delivered to night, great flavor and hot which can't often be said when waiting for a delivery, people very nice and professional and prices well within expectations, will definitely have more.

Delighted to find this take-away nearby at Celtic Point! We are fairly new to the area and Aroma was recommended by a neighbour. The food is delicious and the staff are polite and pleasant. Excellent value too!

Great menu, reasonable prices, delivery service if required. We had the crispy starters which were all well presented and very tasty,followed with crispy duck. We ordered extra chicken satay sticks but these were really more than the three of us could manage. Recommended to great take out meal.

My family have frequented Aroma since it opened and they are the most consistent takeaway I’ve ever tried. The food is always excellent and exactly as expected, it’s clear that Aroma take pride in their business. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We visited this take away after many recommendations this was our second visit and to say the least I was astounded by the sheer rudeness of the lady who owns the takeaway...yes it was busy but most takeaways are much the same on a Saturday night I was upset to hear the lady speak with total disrespect to her staff our food took longer than normal and when we asked the girl on the counter how long the food would be she was then shouted at to go away this as confirmed to me that I won’t be visiting here again as it’s the second time I’ve witnessed the rudeness by the same lady it was only after asking staff who she was I learnt it was the owner. Shame the food is really nice just the rude staff that let it down

Very quick and tasty. Nice to get free crackers too. I like the curry best, not the usual powdery stuff you normally get from Chinese.

I like to order hot and sour soup whenever I try a new Chinese takeaway and this was possibly the best I’ve ever had! Really tasty, not too spicy, and loads of meat in it. The main dishes also tasted great and the portion sizes were generous too. Recommended!

Been here a few times and the food is consistently good. The salt and pepper prawns are a particular favourite of ours and the crispy duck is also very good. Only thing to be aware of is it's cash only, no cards accepted which is a bit behind the times.

Great Chinese - food always good and kitchen is open to see

Chinese is my second choice as I prefer Indian but this place is always my first choice for Chinese. The food is cooked fresh to order and directly in view in the open kitchen, its of good quality and very tasty. I would not go anywhere else in Worksop for Chinese, highly recommended.

the food is just gorgeous, everything is so tasty (try the seaweed). the kitchen is clean and the staff is lovely. no long waiting times.

I used to order from this take away a lot both take out and delivery, however the past two times we have had delivery have not been good. The first time they got the order wrong. When I rang them to let them know they wanted us to save the dish that was wrong and they said they would replace it with the correct one. This took a long time and the other food was getting cold so ended up not eating any of them and they did not offer a refund. Tonight, my mum rang up and complained that her dish was chewy and not edible. She again rang up and we were told to save the dish so the driver could collect and we were offered the price to be deducted from our next order. When the driver returned my mum stated that it would be better if we had the money refunded as we did not know when we would be going again. The next thing we get a phone call from them and they were very rude on the phone and said we were not going to get a refund as the chef thought the chicken was 'fine'. Safe to say we will not be ordering from them again and they have lost a very good customer (or not as it stands right now).

Had a takeaway last weekend and was simply the worst takeaway I've had to memory. The crispy beef had never seen crispy and was chewy, the chips were rubbery, the ribs were 90% fat, the chow mein was too salty and the prawn toast was over cooked. The only edible part was the prawn crackers. We were quoted 40 mins for collection and we arrived after 30 mins to find and ready and nearly cold. Stay away.

Very slow service. Didn't look very organised in the kitchen. The food quality has gone down since last time we had food from here. My chicken was overcooked and dry. My partners meal hardly had any meat in at all. Won't be visiting again.

This used to be the best chinese takeaway in Worksop but not any more. The food quality is definately average these days and they appear to be using lower quality ingredients. Maybe it has changed hands.On the plus side it is very clean and with open kitchens you can see your food being cooked.

Aroma is a good take-away with a good choice of basic Chinese Food.The staff are friendly and normally the food is ready in a reasonable time.It is located in Gateford Worksop with ample free parking and situated near other local amenities such as ASDAs Supermarket.The quality of the food is good and as most Chinese Take-aways the portions are large. The vegetarian selection is very good.I would recommend the Chinese Chips which are especially good. Worth a vist"

We think this is the best Chinese takeaway food in the area. It is quickly produced and is always good.

We have been regular customers here for a couple of years and the food is always fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and efficient and the place is really clean. I like the fact that you can see the food being cooked whilst you wait. Have tried other Chinese takeaways in Worksop but we always come back to aroma. Would be even better if they offered local delivery. Overall, highly recommended.

We order from here quite regularly. We have tried many takeaways in Worksop and not many are that good.The food is hot, tasty and freshly prepared in front of you. The portions are of a reasonable size and if you order before you go it is usually ready when you arrive. If you order in the shop then it is usually less than a ten minute wait and this is only because they cook it to order.The only negative and why it doesnt get five stars from me is that they do not deliver. Other than that we would definately recommend this place.

I live locally and have, over the years, used many of the Chinese takeaways in the area. Aroma has consistently provided great tasting, fresh food. They are always very prompt and the customer service is excellent. The first review doesn't even comment on the quality of the food, which I would assume would be at the top of most peoples list.

Just returned from a 40 minute wait on ordering a family meal of simple meal of sweet and sour chicken balls, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, beef curry ane egg fried rice. My two young children were waitng in the car with my mum when I went in at 6.20pm and were very hungry by the time I arrived just after 7pm. What I thought was a quick fix to eat on the go turned into a stressed frenzy. Granted they were busy but does that excuse te fact that people who ordered a good 10minutes after my order were being served their food a good 10 minutes before i Received mine? Especially when they work on a so called first come, first serve basis. I did complain, not only for my sake but for my childrens and received no discontinue, compensation or apology. Not even a free bag of prawn crackers. Definitely won't use again!

Try somewhere else, the food will taste the same if not better and be cheaper. There is nothing actually wrong with this place I just don't see why you should pay over the odds for a mediocre take-away.

This is an excellent Chinese takeaway with full view of the kitchen, the food is always of a good standard and comes with complimentary prawn crackers!!
