very rude and abrupt driver, my lounge on middle floor so didn't hear knocking.....

Great food and hot,highly recomend.

2 hours after ordering and I still have no food. The status says delivered but it hasn't been delivered to me. Restaurant are not interested in helping.

Originally Ordered to wrong address phoned restaurant and let them know and it was sorted straight away. Food at Mandarin restaurant is 5 star every time we have never had a bad meal from here. Highly recommend this take away.

Given a long estimated delivery but I find this acceptable because it was 6:30 on a Friday night and was delivered far ahead of time, food was piping hot and very very tasty best Chinese I’ve had in Worksop for some time, will be ordering again and will be going to check out the sit down menu too

Mandarin Palace for me personally is the best Chinese restaurant in worksop by far. The quality of the food is way better than other restaurants I've visited in the past & would very much recommend.

chicken balls were great! crispy and sweet and sour was a good consistency! chow mein and rice was okay, average. both beef dishes we had was chewy and a bit bland. delivery was about 30 minutes late. was supposed to be between 19:50 and 20:10 but arrived at 20:40. ordered at 6:15pm...

I wasn't expecting be 30mins early with it being a Friday. Was shocked and surprised good was lovely

Said it was on its way for 25 minutes for me to call up and say they’ve not even got a driver yet and it’ll be a further 15+ mins. Ordered at 18:00 and still no food by 20:00. Not the first time it has been this poor and the food always arrives cold when this happens.

Food was late, item missing. Called to complain and told that we could wait for missing item to be cooked. Pointless as everything else would be cold as had waited a lot longer than the time initially quoted. Had to phone and check on order a couple of times. The actual food wasn’t too bad, but the delivery of (part of) it was the main problem.

Food ordered at 715pm not received until 925pm. Estimated deliver ended up showing as 835 to 855pm.

30 minutes late, at the latest point, 2 hours from ordering , food was just warm, and the pancakes for half a duck were missing, only £13, I don't usually post any negative comments but, I will not be back

2 hours and I cant even say it was late because - After Ordering - this sad excuse for a app informed me I could expect delivery one and a half to two hours later. Remember when you got your food for free if it was more than half an hour? Nowadays I can get a GP appointment sooner than an estimated delivery time. When it got here the food was good as always.

Called in as 3 people for a sit down meal, someone on the phone ... obviously no problem sorting other customers out, waited and waited eventually sat down to be told in an 'empty'!!!! Restaurant we not doing food because too busy delivery... it was a disgusting state in the toilets and 1 table still had plates on, I wonder when from? Today? Yesterday? Or when someone had manners!!!!! Absolutely rubbish ... wish could score a minus on the place

Ordered a C Two for Two people which states on the menu it includes 4 spring rolls .When the order arrived there were no spring rolls. We rang them & was told the spring rolls are not included though it clearly states on the menu. At £30 not happy

Portion sizes are good. Overall taste was mediocre, the chicken chowmien was flavourless and not worth £8.10. Part of order stated we got spring rolls, on delivery none were included. We rang up the restaurant to let them know, and they stated they were no longer included. Well unfortunately, when it says on the menu they are, you can't just say they aren't. We got a feeble sorry and basically didn't get what we paid for. May seem petty, but at the end of the day it's the restaurants responsibility to ensure the menu is updated on all platforms and no one likes paying for something to not receive it.

Took 2 hours to receive my food - 15 mins later than the latest time they said it would take. It took 40 mins from leaving the restaurant to get to my house (10 mins drive) and food was cold when it arrived but why would I complain when JustEat don’t care.

The fried rice looked and tasted like it was boiled and had no colour or taste, the satay chicking was so dry and we couldnt eat it. £15 for the chicken was such a waste and i may as well burnt the £40 we spent on that meal as 95% went in the bin

asked for 19:15 delivery - arrived at 18:40 - wasn't hot when daughter arrives from work - if going to give delivery times slots rather than asap - there is usually a good reason for the time put in - pls aim for it - had to re heat meal - less than ideal

Long wait from placing order. We didn’t get the 20% Tuesday special offer. Crispy beef wasn’t crispy more rock hard. Portion sizes are small versus price you pay. Rather disappointing tbh.

Had a takeaway for the 3rd year when staying at clumber Park, this year's was the best, I really think it's actually the best I've ever had from any take away, it was so good we had takeaway on the Tuesday and Thursday. Cannot wait to order again on our next trip.

3rd year we have had delivery whilst staying at Clumber Park Lodges. Every year food is fab but this year the food was absolutely delicious/fantastic/out of this world. We decided to have it on our 2nd night then had to have it again on our 4th night. Can't wait to visit next year and have the best chinese ever.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not only were we served raw prawns, but left us waiting over 2 hours for them then tell us that hadn't even put our order through. The staff were unhelpful and rude when approached. We walked out after the guy spoke to us like crap.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! booker a table to 9 people for parents anniversary. Ordered starters and mains shortly after arriving. Waited a long time for 1st starter to come out, then 20 mins for 2nd lot of starters then an further 10 mins for last started which cane out uncooked with raw prawn inside. Complained to be looked at confused!!! Waited a further 10 mins for a fresh one, to which my dad was very disappointed ans unsure to wether it would be cooked. After being there nearly 2.5 hours we were still waiting for mains. After questions staff how long it would be u was told it had been started yet as the ordered hadn't been put through the till. What business doesn't put an order through the til when placed!!! No apologies or anything so we left. Very disappointed and hungry!!!

Avoid this place!! Booked table for my daughters 12th birthday nearly 2weeks in advance for 6 of us. Got there and was like a store room and freezing cold they had to clear a table to make room for us to sit coz covered in delivery bags and storage items etc it was a mess they wasn't prepared at all considering when we booked Saif it was a birthday. we had to ask for heating to be put on as steam came out when we spoke even staff had coats on it was freezing they laughed when we asked and said they put a radiator on as we was sat in our coats they got a portable gas heater that wouldn't work so they was banging and hitting it and shouting at eachother in their own language it was honestly a joke the menus had multiple prices in each one so couldnt see how much they was as varied menu to.menu and prices wwre ridiculous and when it came to ordering drink they had nothing to offer even beer pumps didn't work then told it was cash only which none of us carry so we ended up walking out of there very angry it had no atmosphere, music, tabkes not prepped just gave us a plate of prawn crackers and asked for our order before we even sat down and looked at menu, the other workers dropping and banging around in the restaurant sorting stuff out like we was sat in a warehouse not restaurant as it literally looked like a store room with a few tables. We booked this nearly 2 week ago and they wasn't even prepared my poor little girl had her birthday ruined she was so excited to eat at a chinese take away for the first time and been counting the days just.to be disappinted and no apology either or anything it was dirty and disgusting and how it's being allowed to operate as a restaurant is beyond me I will be reporting this to health and safety and local council. To not have any heating in this weather then bring in gas heaters which they admitted don't work very well and put it next to our table smelling of gas and to be told if it goes out they reheat it and to have to sit In our coats was awful it was awkward too and then to be told all we can have if coke and a fee select drinks as there pumps for beer etc don't work anymore and the coke was stored jn the corner of restaurant in bottles too it was utter disgusting so please don't waste ur time or money on this place. I just hope something is done when I report it.. thanks for ruining my little girls birthday mandarin palace!!!

First time we’ve ordered from here, definitely won’t be the last! The food arrived bang on time and was piping hot. The Thai Green curries (1 prawn and 1 chicken) were absolutely delicious and the salt and pepper chips were the best we’ve ever had. 100% recommend.

Our go to place for Chinese. First time they have let us down. Nearly 2 hours for delivery. I called the restaurant after 1 hour 20 minutes and was told food was ready and they where just waiting on a driver. Not sure how fresh food was but was hot and just as tasty as any other time except for the duck rolls. They where far too greasy to eat and in fact dropped apart when taken out of the bag.

I placed the order on Wednesday for the evening however due to the shop being shut but the app still taking the money I received the thumbs up for the order being received on the Thursday. Which put ne out as I was in the middle of cooking dinner. So it arrived unexpectedly 24 hours late! I tried to explain to the delivery driver but failed to get my point across. Called the shop but they said it was just arriving

Having waited patiently for 90 minutes for our order ( was aware and accepted the delivery time) we were disappointed to see that 2 items were missing from the order. The spring rolls that were part of a box special and a portion of chips. I’ve requested a refund the chips but unable to request a refund for the spring rolls with them being part of the order. However, the food was delicious! Hence I have only knocked 1 star off. I will reorder but I feel that orders need to be checked.

Did not need to book a table just walk in sit we're you like. The food was very nice and the service was excellent this was my second visit al be going again. There was only a few parking spaces outside and it looks like they do deliver.

Must have been something wrong with the site for said expected delivery time was 20:55 but arrived around 19:55. Ordered a Chow Mien and was plentiful and delicious. ordered a side of chips and there were loads and piping hot. Would easily recommend them and may be next time try something else... really like sweet and sour. Also to make the meal more authentic really need to learn how to use chop sticks..... LOL

Don’t be put off by the negative reviews, the food here is delicious, great portion sizes and the half shredded crispy duck with pancakes is the best we’ve ever had and loads of it. Very tasty and piping hot and ready on time and as promised for collection. Note it’s cash only. We had Mongolian beef which was very tender, crispy shredded chicken in Thai sauce which was like a sweet chilli sauce, and a chicken curry. Free bottle of coke, prawn crackers and fortune cookies :-). Could not fault it, would definitely recommend and would be back if our stay was longer.

Mandarin Palace is the best Chinese, they don’t deliver because I’m out of their radius, so I do the 10 mile round trip because the food is so good it’s worth it, always quick and service with a smile 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
