Excellent food only thing I ordered a duck chow mein but got a beef chow mein aswell but can’t complain it was very nice.

What a poor service what good is a duck curry with no rice then have a cheek to charge to bring it out to us. What food is a curry with no rice now I have cold curry and hot rice thanks for spoiling my dinner won’t be using again. Staff are rude and don’t even speak good English have to repeat self on phone until they understand. Poor service

Always friendly on the phone and delivery is in good time and arrives hot. Used Golden Bowl for years, don’t recall ever being dissatisfied.

Honestly refreshing to see a take out that doesn't needlessly adds peas and mushrooms to their dishes. And its nice to see free crackers included. 4/5 on service purely for the lack of delivery tracking, But does arrive sooner than expected. Ordered: Chicken Chow-main, Chicken Fried Rice.

pork fried rice was really good, had a sizeable amount of pork within. Curry sauce was very nice with that classic style. chips were also very nice, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. crispy seaweed/cabbage was also very good. ribs didn't have that much meat on them, prawn toast was overcooked, besides those two issues, the rest of the meal was really nice.

We were disappointed no real flavour apart from too much garlic! Fried rice dry and bland.

The order was cold. I asked for cutlery and I did not get any. I asked the driver and he said he was just the delivery guy so he can’t do anything about it. Is he not meant to make sure I have my complete order along with the restaurant. Really ruined my dinner and I’m surprised because I like ordering from here.

The sweet and sour King prawn Hong Kong style batter was underdone which meant that the prawns were chewy as opposed to light and crispy.

food was greasy, flavourless and over priced, not worth the £4.50 delivery fee. portions were good and food was hot.

my order was due between 7.40pm and 8pm. I called the restaurant 3 times and they said the driver was stuck in traffic. I have asked the driver and he said he collected the food 5 minutes ago so he was not stuck in traffic I was lied too.

they are not delivering out my order as they just realised after closing there was one more so I lost over 20pounds

I was starving, so the food being early was brilliant. food was delicious too.

Food arrived cold however, it did taste nice but we had to warm it up so it changed the mood of the dinner and we weren’t impressed since we’d heard good things about Golden Bowl

The chicken balls and rice were lovely but the chips were rock hard, they tasted like they had been reheated a few times, I only had one or two of them and tipped the rest away, which was a shame. Otherwise, the meal was nice enough.

20 minutes early and the food was perfect. Beef curry was spot on and the sweet and sour Hong Kong style was incredible.

This is our first delivery from the Golden Bowl, I specified 7pm which they adhered to, they popped in some prawn crackers free which was a lovely touch, and the food we ordered was set dinner S2 for 2 people it came very hot and plenty of it, the taste was awesome no dish was disappointing they were all delicious and very enjoyable so yes a huge thumbs up from me and hubby, well done Golden Bowl you will definitely be delivering to us again. A huge thank you. Give these a shot as they seem to care they have great customer service, the food is great very hot and they come on time. The Honey moon is over!!! The lady that brought the food was very nice and I liked that she asked the name so that she can give the order yo the right person as the address was at the block of flats!

Loverly food but a bit too much MSG, almost spicy it was that salty but you kind of expect that with Chinese cuisine.

We have ordered from here quite a few times now, and we all love it. The portion sizes are good, the food is always hot, it’s a little pricy but really nice. Highly recommend the chicken curry and chicken chow mein. Our favourite Chinese in Northampton and we will continue ordering!! :)

Quality of dumplings wasn't good, rest of meal was okay but much better chinese takeaways in area so won't be coming here again.
