The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

Really enjoyed our food from here this evening. Everything was hot and delicious. The delivery driver was pleasant also and didn't have to wait long. Never had a problem so far anytime we've ordered here.

Apparently delivering food 2 hours plus after it's ordered is ok. And walk ins jump the queue over already allocated time slots

We always visit this place for a bday or celebration as it's always been great value for money. Service has never been top notch as its always very young teenagers without training but the food has always made up for it. However last night's visit for my sisters bday was disgusting. We ordered our starters to only receive half of them? I received none of mine and had to wait while the rest of the table ate theirs. I had ordered some spring rolls and dumplings? But I was waiting over an hour for them. Everyone else had finished their food even a couple of tables had received their food before I was then told they ate just putting my order in. The servers had to tell the chef 3 times to put my order on as I was waiting. So when I eventually got my food everyone had finished and was ready for the mains so they ordered them to avoid anymore delays. An hour later they came out and were less than satisfactory. My dad's salt and pepper squid wasn't even cooked properly. Everything was less than perfect? I.e the veg was a little undercooked, the sweet and sour tasted like orange chicken. The table next to us had been there since 5pm and left 3 hours later complaining about the delay and missing dishes as well as the way the boss had been shouting at the teenage staff. We could hear him berating the staff regularly from the kitchen. We left about 3 hours after starting as well and none of the previous tables had been cleared. Even our starters dishes were not removed? We ended up doing it ourselves. We will not be returning ever again

This has to be one of the worst takeawys ever. This place has been down before but bounced back. This time there is no-where to go, its a gonner. Hard chewy meat ( not sure what it even was) Could have been chicken beef or duck and it was in a special chow mein. I didn't eat it, can't do that to my tum. No spice, no taste, nothing to recommend it at all and yet they keep putting their prices up. These are two regulars signing off.

We was sadly disappointed as we ordered from here and paid 21.00 for a mega salt and pepper box and when it came it come with mainly chips nothing else, we wouldn’t order again as we might aswell just ordered chips.

Regularly order the chicken/lamb Biriyani and i love it. I especially ask them to cook it spicy 🌶️ because i like it hot . You can even talk to the chef and i love that. Its all freshly cooked!!

First time ordering and it was really tasty, king prawn and that sauce was delicious! I asked for the udon noodles with speical sauce to be minimal as it was for my children and they did it perfectly, sauce, chicken and noodles, kids loved it. Hot and sour soup, I've had more spicy from elsewhere, I do like spicy food but it was still nice, shredded beef, perfect. I'll put a list of what I ordered below. Highly recommend Hot and sour soup King Prawn In Honey And Chilli Sauce Crispy Shredded Beef Egg fried rice Boiled rice Udon With Chicken In Special Sauce

Terrible experience the other day, food was awful, soggy and meat you wouldn't wanna give to your dog. I wouldn't eat from here again no wonder had 3 star reviews at best

Zero customer service! Been many times and enjoyed this restaurant but not this time. Customer service was lacking and looking at reviews from these last few days it is a common theme. We will think twice about returning. There are other all you can eat buffets in the city centre.

Things may have changed but at the time of my visit, the place was terrible. Cold food. Dirt everywhere. Untrained staff. Never again. This visit was before 2023.

Honestly fantastic food, front of house were polite and friendly. Unfortunately been multiple times and despite Google saying there open, they have been closed each time.

Lovely halal Chinese food. Will definitely recommend.
