The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

I be grateful to the staff they are very helpful and supportive and the price are very low from the rest of food place in Derby i would recommend to anyone else

This was rather a surprise, just visiting Lincoln and saying up the road in our caravan, looked at the menu and gave it a try. Wow, great food, Beef in Oyster sauce was superb! salt and pepper prawns excellent. So good we tried it twice, just as good the second time. Highly recommended !

Very tasty, best Chinese in Nottingham. Just wish they were open more reliably because it says open 4-11pm everyday but often they’re not open.

Only used this place due to Golden harvest closed for holidays. This should have been an opportunity for Jumbo to take some business, but the food was really bad. We had family over who agreed with us. To top it off the lady who served us was far from friendly.

Lovely food last Sunday followed by a lot of fun upstairs singing karaoke. Definitely the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Leicestershire so I'm looking forward to going back there for more

Whats the point in being on just eat, you accept the food a nd then cancel 2 hours later, awful service

I work in Derby and went here for food as it was convenient to where i lodge. There are young children running around behind the counter, over priced food (double what i normally pay at home) but that is my fault as i should of questioned it. I asked for extra spicy special curry no mushrooms no onions. I got what could only be described as green gravy with extra onions and extra mushrooms with 50% fat attached to every piece of meat! I also ordered a portion of salt n pepper chicken wings which was almost ineadible. My recommendation is do not go here! Spice hut to the left of wokaholicks Steve's chippy to the right they are both considerably better just don't go here!

Ordered £50s worth of food on valentines night at 8.15 by 10.30 it still wasent and delivery had been pushed back twice via uber. So we called to speak to a really rude and unhelpful bloke who told us it was going to be another 30minutes for the food to be cooked and then we had to wait for uber to collect and deliver. No apology it was well this is the situation!! What an absolute joke!!

Absolutely disgusting CRISPY chicken balls were soggy slimey and RAW. The shredded chicken was also soggy and undercooked. Chips and prawn crackers were stale and the chow mein was slimed and looked like worms absolutely vile.

We had munchy box and my daughter had sweet and sour chicken. Took forever to come and it was not edible. It was stone cold, and the curry sauce had a huge layer of oil on it. The sweet and sour was just like chicken in vinegar. Could not eat any of the order. Had to go out and get a different take out, after spending £33 on this one… Will definitely not be returning

Comida encantadora, servicio al cliente encantador. Entregado a tiempo. Tuvimos un problema pensando que una comida no había sido incluida en nuestra entrega. El restaurante accedió a suministrar una comida de reemplazo a pesar de que sabían que lo habíamos tenido. ¡Encontramos la bolsa en el suelo! Teléfonos para disculparse y eran encantadores. Used this take away twice before as recently moved to the area , ordered tonight at 5.27 and confirmed 65mins to delivery it's saturday so no surprise there . I phoned after 1hr 20mins to be told been on its way for 5mins which is about the distance I live from the shop , when I said that she said he had 3 deliveries , finally arrived another 15mins later ...everything was luke warm at best had to microwave or airfry to reheat .Phoned when delivered to be told it was because its wk end and busy ....I said so I can expect sub standard food because its wk end and have to reheat which defeats the object of a take away ...I dont really want my order to travel around while dropping off elsewhere the bags were all wet so knew it had been in carrier for a while ...we wont be back sorry shame as previously food had been lovely and had no complaints

The food is lovely apart from the chip -always hard chips. The delivery people are thick as thiefs , some addresses they can never find and expect you to walk outside and find them

There are a lot of take aways in Melton this is my personal favourite Quick friendly service and good food.
