New Tung Fong in High Peak

We had munchy box and my daughter had sweet and sour chicken. Took forever to come and it was not edible. It was stone cold, and the curry sauce had a huge layer of oil on it. The sweet and sour was just like chicken in vinegar. Could not eat any of the order. Had to go out and get a different take out, after spending £33 on this one… Will definitely not be returning

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Satay sauce greasy, curry sauce greasy, prawn crackers definitely more than a day old greasy and hard. Chips not fresh rice horrible not much more in the box rotten samosas terrible chicken wings & rib everything went in the bin absolutely disgusting.🤢🤮

Food was inedible. The prawn crackers they gave us were clearly from yesterday as they were so stale and chewy. We order a munch box and it ended up in the bin as it was honestly disgusting. It takes a lot for me to not eat a meal, even if it’s not great, but I couldn’t stomach it :(

Food was greasy and cold not happy atall

Order on the whole was OK, but 12 small pieces of salt and pepper chicken for over 8 quid is not on. It's as if one full portion had been split in half for our order. Won't be ordering again.

Drinks were forgotten from order

The delivery driver was rude and abrupt, food arrived within estimated timeframe however was completely cold upon delivery. It was our first time ordering from here and will sadly be our last. No answer or call back from the restaurant when we called to inform them.

We got the mega box. Great for two people with a selection of food. However - very very spicy. If you like spicy food I think you will enjoy. It took us by surprise. Delivery guy was rushed when delivering food but understandable it’s Christmas Eve and busy. Food was good and would order again.

The food arrived sooner than I expected, I had the Singapore special curry with fried rice and a special chow mein. Both dishes were great! My partner ordered salt and pepper chips and tofu which she also really enjoyed! Thanks guys!

My order arrived 45 minutes earlier than it said it would on the app, which is great! But because of this I wasn't expecting it and wasn't near the door at the time. It took me a whole 30 seconds to get to the door (I've checked the Ring footage). The delivery guy was visibly annoyed by standing outside my house for half a minute and was fairly abrupt when I arrived. The skin of the crispy duck was flaccid, the meat was so dry it was crumbly, the leeks hadn't had the root end chopped off & the cucumber was going yellow. I ordered a bottle of Wolf Blass wine and received a bottle that retails £3 cheaper

Delivery time was good but my food was cold, resembled microwave rice with spring onions slapped on top. Super salty too. Very unpleasant and I barely ate any.

There was only one chicken wing in my munchie box and there was very little meat on the two ribs which is a shame because they tasted nice.

Poor quality food. Cold, stale and tasteless salt & pepper chips. Stale old prawn crackers. Wrong flavour ribs sent. Very expensive for such poor quality.

Chicken was burnt and dry, was only warm when delivered

Absolutely horrendous food! Ordered the munchie box - AVOID!!! Spring rolls were soggy, samosas were bitter, hardly any chicken wings or ribs. Whole thing was so dry because we couldn’t eat the curry sauce it was just this brown runny liquid. So so bad!!

Arrived early which is good considering we were given a delivery time of around 90mins. However the chop suet roll was overly salty, the munchie box was more pepper than salt & pepper & only had 1 chicken wing , the curry tasted fruity and I could make better tasting gravy with bisto. Filled a hole but won’t be back

Food was so salty it was nearly inedible Munch box is definitely not worth £21 considering you only get 3 very small ribs and 2 chicken wings Very disappointed and would never order from here again

Chicken and Sweetcron Soup was like dishwater with hardly anything in it. We ordered a Duck was undercooked and is meant to be crispy! When we rang the restaurant 6 times, no one answered. Most of the food ended up in the bin inc one of the mains. We spent nearly £40 and have asked for a partial refund and won't be back. The delivery was on time but the driver tries to deliver to next door instead of us!.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Ordered tonight with my family, never tried it before. It has made me poorly. The food was bland, some of the items went straight in the bin as looked like they had all black burnt bits in! I would like a FULL refund!

Rubbish service and unbeatable food

Half of our order was missing. Called up straight away to ask for the missing food but they picked up the phone and put it straight down. Tried to call back another 8 times for it to ring out and no one would answer. 2 meals down and no way of getting in touch with them. Awful service.

Ordered the food for 1955 as we needed to put the kids to bed. It arrived at at 1930. When we ate it at 2000 the ribs were soggy and had to re heat the other bits. First time we have used them, not the best

Came far earlier than expected and our order was wrong so we’ve paid for food we hardly ate and what we did eat was absolutely awful! Would much rather have waited the deliver time and had our correct order. Very angry and disappointed never ever again. Couldn’t even contact the place for a refund! Absolutely wasted £20!! Over priced awful food.

Luke warm,prawn curry was gritty and very black in colour, not a nice taste😔

Went for a change tonight, and sorry we did. Beef was chewy, chips were hard and chicken was dry. Ordered pineapple fritters and might as well have ordered batter cubes. Very disappointing and won't be trying again anytime soon, especially as they aren't the cheapest, expected better.

Delivered zero sugar coke instead of original which when hungover wasn’t appreciated at all, food was average nothing stood out but was disappointed the duck the sewers and with the packaging as there was sweet n sour sauce everywhere.

Sorry, hate leaving bad reviews but the food was awful. Delivery was bang on, no complaints there, kids meal was OK, but the mains, wings and "seaweed" we're not good. Stuck them straight back in the box and ordered from elsewhere instead. Might try again sometime as I like to give places another chance, but wouldn't order crispy beef or chicken in OK sauce.

Poor food won’t order there again really disappointed just a blessing the delivery man was so lovely.

Very small portions and cold when it arrived

I am so disappointed with this order. I have always loved this takeaway - always getting it when I visit Glossop - but this time was truly awful. The food took an hour to arrive, was cold, and the portions were tiny. A “large” chips was the same as the small chips. The food tasted reheated. And when I called the restaurant to ask a question to see if the gravy was vegetarian as they had changed the recipe, they did not answer - then hung up when I called back. I would have excused the food - but to be completely ignored, and then HUNG UP ON, is terrible. They picked up, listened to me say “Hello? hello? Is this Tung Fong?” And then they hung up without even listening

Unfortunately the food was cold had to warm in the microwave.

Duck was really really dry which was such a shame. The sauce was also really sour and the fortune cookies were stale as anything.

Ordered garlic chilli chicken and mushrooms, what i got was beef and mushrooms in black bean sauce, very disappointed, and not what i was looking forward to

I should of read the reviews before ordering Siu Mai was over boiled and mush Har kau now I know it’s prawns but as soon I opened the lid it smelt very very fishy so threw away Special chow main included Cheap prawns Frozen cube chicken Cheap packet noodles Prawn toast was ok just hope I’m not I’ll Owners if you ready this i would really like my money back If I’m poorly I will be contacting the food standard agency

The crisp duck in plum sauce was sooooo no crsipy and very slimey... The chips were very very greasy.

Great food and delivered ver quickly

The food here is amazing, the prices are very steep which is a shame, i hope they put the prices down as more would order. for one person you can easily spend between 20-30 pound and its not right as its too expensive. As for the Food, fantastic, so nice.. especially the Mega Munchie Box.. so nice. Delivery was fine and on time and Restaurant Service was fine. Out of 10 star, i would give and 8/10 but only because of food prices. That is the only down side but i've given a deserved 5 Star for them categories. If prices was on it, i'd give a 1. I would order all the time if the prices dropped.

The duck was dry and so was the salt and pepper ribs The chips were advertised as salt and pepper chips but were just sprinkled with chilli flakes. They were inedible and too spicy. An expensive meal for what we got

The food was awful. The chow mein was bland, tiny and had next to no meat in it. The chicken fried rice just tasted of spring onions. The salt and pepper chips were slushy and blew my head off, and the salt and pepper mushrooms were overcooked, slushy smeared in black gunk and tasteless other than red hot chilli. The chips were also limp and greasy. Overpriced too! Wont eat from here again :(

Food was delivered promptly, quality and taste were really good.

This is without doubt the worst food ive ever ordered! Had the sharer box, was bland, no taste to anything, curry sauce, well, not sure what happened there but wasnt cooked properly was greasy, powdery amd could lay bricks with it. The chicken and spare ribs were as dry and as tough as Ghandis flip flops. Had a mouthful and it was binned! Best thing about it was the delivery guys bike and hes from deliveroo, avoid!!

Food was available 15 mins before the requested time so was a bit cold. Curry was bland, other food ordered was provided wrong, rest of order was average.

Samosas just had massive pieces of carrot inside and that was about it. Whole thing wasn’t nice actually left my dinner for once. Disappointed.

Another great meal. Can’t beat Tung Fong when you have the urge for Cantonese! Keep it up guys!

Great food, good sized portions - early delivery

Excellent food. Chap who delivered was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Crispy duck was like a brick wouldn’t shred and was chewy. (Went in the bin straight away) Salt and pepper chicken with egg fried rice (rice never turned up) Chicken was so chewy and dry and the bit of veg in the tray with it was all burnt. Satay sauce- well I would review it but that also never turned up. Will never order from here again, hoping for a refund.

Food was hot and on time but unfortunately not very nice. The chips looked and tasted like they’d been cooked in really old oil, the egg fried rice was dry and bland, the gravy was properly pitch black and tar thick, no exaggeration, tasted some for a dare and it was like heated up bovril, very bizarre. The Singapore vermicelli wasn’t the nicest, quite sad as it used to be a little nicer IMO.

Absolutely disgusting food, the chips were old and reheated at some stage and the gravy was a black gloopy congealed mess, will never buy anything from there ever again. A complete waste of good money.

I ordered the veggie salt and pepper tofu with rice and it was incredible! Really pleased with the chunky tofu pieces and amazing flavour. The portion could probably feed 2 but I just had it by myself. A great option for any veggies ordering from here.

Estimated deliver time was one hour and 15 minutes which we were willing to wait because it’s nice but it’s not 2 hours and 25 minutes and still not arrived. We’ve trying phoning but it’s constantly engaged and we’ve still no food...very frustrating

The food was room temperature at best. Flavours were lacking but the food was incredibly spicy. No point in having flavour if it’s too hot to eat. Possibly the worst Glossop takeaway I’ve ever had.

Tried to Charge me for 4 fortune cookies there wasn’t any in there 1 prawn in a special

The food was tasteless, beef and chicken not pleasant to eat. 3 different meals all poor quality.

Friendly. Food is tasty, and not laced with unnecessary food colourings.

Still not here. Ordered and said it would take an hour. Still not here an hour and half later. If you can’t deliver on time, don’t accept the orders.

Love food from here although the salt and pepper box tonight was way to salt and peppery couldn’t eat it it was that hot (maybe less seasoning)

The prawn crackers were the worst we've ever had - they were stale and chewy and definitely not worth £3.20! The salt and pepper chips didn't taste fresh and were made with dried chillies rather than fresh and were so spicy we couldn't eat them and we normally love a spicy dish! Prawn chow mein was edible but very disappointed after paying £25 for a meal that most of which ended up in the bin!

Main meal way to salty. Hot and sour soup was just poor slop. I have had a good meal here before but not tonight.
