We've never had a bad meal here, orders always correct. Good value and very tasty. We're lucky to have King 2 on our doorstep.

Fast and tasty. Cash only, must collect, but don't order too far in advance as they cook like lightning. Food is good. Best Chinese in Chapel or Whaley.

amazing food always so warm and cooked well, unfortunately only take away but I don’t mind the drive if the food is this good, never had to wait more than 30mins to receive food, definitely recommend.

Excellent food! Best. Most enjoyable.. Enjoyed a mixed starter. Followed by hot and sour l and chicken and sweetcorn soup. Them the most delicious king prawn in sweet and sour... The whole meal was delicious!!

Salt and pepper chips was just chips with half a chilli chopped hardly any salt, and no onion pepper and soggy old chips absolutely unprofessional will not be going back 😑

High peak Chinese on a par with YoYos in Whaley. Very nice food.

I always rate a chinese takeaway by the quality of their satay sauce. You can tell when some are just cutting corners by either buying it in or making on so simple it's depthless. The one I ordered tonight was amazing, made with skill. The chicken fried rice was just as awesome! Tender chicken strips and rice seasoned just right. Best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time.

Fantastic place for takeaway Chinese food. Order made quickly, food taste great and good price. Lovely bag of chips and juicy sweet and sour chicken balls is my order. The go to place for quick Chinese in Chapel-En-Le-Frith.

The Salt & Pepper Chicken is different here compared to other Chinese takeaways, they dice a whole chicken breast into strips. It's still tasty though. The Curry Sauce & Boiled Rice are both equally as good.

I would get 4 stars but I'm getting fed up with this place there are two boys behind the till trying to rip people off. over charging on your order and pocketing the extra!!! if they don't stop I'm taking this further. Please everyone add up your orders before you go and pick up!!!

Uncomfortably quick service. Maybe explains why my veg chow mein had prawns and chicken in it. Lukewarm food.

TL;DR: it's good, but not best. Not personal favorite. It's difficult to give this a fair judgement. The food was okay and was good quality. Objectively, it's good. However, I had received multiple recommendations proclaiming this as the best Chinese in the area, and it just doesn't do it for me. Keep in mind that is a subjective experience.0

Visiting the town for the weekend, ordered for 4, food would be ready in ten minutes, Singapore noodles very dry and not spicy. Other dishes were fine. This takeaway only takes CASH - be warned!

Ordered from here for the first time ever & it’s the last!!! I asked for a house special fried rice, which was covered in sauce & on boiled rice!! Absolutely terrible!!! The other meal was beef chow mein which was dry as a bone!! The whole lot went in the bin!! Stay well away peeps!!! If there was a no star option that’s what they would of got!!!!!!!

We are on holiday, we always have a Saturday chinese. So put are order in family of 6 and it was done in 25 min. We all loved our meals. Great service and great food thank you.

Serving chips and gravy in a paper bag really. Food is maybe the worse I have had from a chipy Gravy is tasteless. Salt and pepper chips came as chips with just salt in a paper bag again.no onions peppers anything all the good reviews are clearly fake. They clearly need a new chef who knows how to cook.

Couldn’t be bothered to cook and we were looking for something tasty and quick. This certainly hit the spot! Kung Po chicken, sweet and sour shredded beef and chicken with ginger and pineapple. All 3 meals were delicious and one portion of fried rice was enough for us. Preparation time was very fast. Will certainly return.

Not very nice at all. Bbq spare ribs were overcooked and dry . Salt and pepper ribs were the same dry ribs with the addition of some stir fried onions and chillis. Prawn toast was heavy and greasy ... very greasy . All in all for £16.40 really not worth the money

I ordered some take-away from King 2 and as usual the food was delicious. Only negative for me is the recent price hikes. Had the same order as one I had a few weeks back, beef curry, fried rice and chips and it’d gone up by £1.20. Believe me I like to spend money but I’m not a cash machine.

As August moon was closed I though i'd order from king 2 ,after phoning up and ordering was told there would be a 45 minute wait .. got to the shop at the time they said to be told there would be another 15 minute wait . Food was eventually ready 1hour 40 minutes after I ordered it and 55 minutes after they said it would be . If that was only thing would of been an inconvenience but it wasn't .. the beef tasted terrible and was slimey , the chips had salt on them even though I'd asked for no salt , will say the chicken fried rice was ok , but no where near as nice as August moon. Won't be using again.

The most fantastic receptionist read all three orders so we could pay separately perfect so clear and had all the prices correct and the foods always good from here but she’s a fantastic asset to the company so friendly and brilliant !!

Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Crisp batter, juicy chicken, lots of veg. Very quick service, under 5 minutes from order to handing out.

Half an hour late, and they forgot the sauce for the main course. And they don't even give you free pawn crackers on a £27 order. The food we did get, eventually, was decent, but will be sticking with Yoyo in future.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in the UK!

Staying local and was recommended. Was a little worried when food came out so quick after ordering as didn’t think they could cook it that quick but what a surprise. All delicious and ribs were melt in the mouth. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Good range of tasty food. Reasonably priced. Shame they did not allow payment by card especially with Covid protocols recommending not handing cash.

The solt and pepper chips are no longer soggy, now in fact rather tasty once again king 2 dominates the solt and pepper chip market

If we have chinese 99% of the time it comes from king 2. Never had a bad meal yet. Staff are pleasant, food is always hot, fresh and super tasty.

Best Chinese takeaway for Miles. All the food is fresh, none of the frozen ready made stuff you can just heat in a wok (like so many of the others). As it's actually fresh food, favourites might be a little different to what you're used to (ie the salt n pepper chicken is one large chicken escalope cut into strips and then mixed with the seasonings and veg, its is very tasty) all are delicious. Try it.

We were staying a Castleton for a few days and visited Chapel en le Frith to follow a town walk we had picked up. The town walk was good, a lot of information. Someone has put a lot of effort in getting it together.Anyway, it was getting near teatime. We'd passed a couple of Chinese takeaways that were closed but this was open.We picked up two meals to take back to our hotel room. They were good, plenty of mixed meat and veg with it too.

Don’t know what has happened but this take away used to be the best for miles around by far ,starters chicken wings more lime sparrow wings and over cooked no onions with them and other bits , main meals bland and over cooked . Used to order 2-3 a week now once a month of stuck . Yo yo in Whaley bridge now best around

Oh dear, this was not a good meal at all I'm afraid. The sweet and sour chicken was nothing but sour, the chips were far too salty and overcooked and my husband's salt n pepper chicken was so spicy it wasn't pleasant to eat - and he loves a bit of spice! A real let down, sorry guys. A litre of water later (due to salt and spice!) we were very disappointed.

Ordered several dishes.O n eating said dishes, my wife had a sharp pain in her throat.After spitting it out, discovered that it was a metal staple in her meal.When i rang to complain, they said there was nothing they could do. My answer is be careful when ordering. It seems they dont care what goes into your food.

First came across this place when I was diverted due to a road closure. That was lucky. I have been eating there many times since then,and travelling 40 or so miles,to do so. The food is,great and the staff always welcoming. Will be there again tonight, taking my chopsticks and bowls ready to eat the delicious food after a lovely drive over the peak Moors to get there.

No complaints here. Ordered food by phone and was ready to pick up in 15 minutes. Quality of food is great. There are three Chinese places in Chapel, King 2 is the best.

Looking forward to a Chinese this evening, phoned ordered, drove 30 mins to pick it up, got home and was a completely different order and over charged an extra £25. Called the Chinese to try and rectify it and they were not bothered in the slightest, very very poor service and I will not be going back. They do not deserve the custom!!!!!

Awful customer service, we had an awful meal and called and the lady told us to come back for a refund, we came into the shop and they told us we couldn’t have our money back ! They then continued to laugh in our face whilst we spoke to them !

I first found this place one snowy night when my sat back diverted past it due to the M6 being closed. I had a chicken and sweetcorn soup and a special house chow mein.

If your heart yearns for a great Chinese takeaway (+/- love & pride) then I can whole heartedly recommend this excellent establishment. Tasty, well executed food, cooked swiftly, friendly service and all at a very reasonable price.

We have been to King 2 for a few years now and it was our trusty, local takeaway which didn’t break the bank. We ordered our usual dish tonight- mixed meat fried rice and salt and pepper chips. The beef was chewy, there was hardly any sauce and the chips were way too salty. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be returning and I wouldn’t be surprised if many others follow suit.

The best Chinese takeout I've ever had. I have moved out of the area and had to suffer with mediocre takeout for years. So it was a pleasure to be able to visit recently and find the quality is as good as it was all those years ago.

Best take away that I have found for Chinese food ever, and I have been buying for over 50 years. Wife and I often travel the 35 or so miles from home, buy a takeaway and then drive to a suitable place to eat it. Quick service indeed, and well worth the drive.try their spare ribs, chicken soup, and chow mein.

Absolutely disgusted tonight with king 2, we frequent here most weekends and it is usually great. Tonight I ordered a vegetarian hot and sour soup, whilst eating I realised it was full of meat, I call up and explained and a very rude man stated "well there isn't anything I can do about that now" absolutely appalling. There was no offer of a new soup, I wasn't overly hungry so I had ordered this as my meal, which ended up being nothing!

Often call in for a take away after football, good standard, but at times they get over busy and you can have a long wait.I think they do the fried rice in batches as it is sometimes not very hot

We bought a takeaway from here I had chow main and my husband had duck in orange sauce . The duck was quite obviously off . My husband tasted it and the smell was also disgusting . Never been back as it's unacceptable .

Very busy every opening day in the evening this long established chinese cuisine take away. We have recently moved back to the area and the quality is unchanged. Very reliable and very nicely priced.
