Excellent fish and chips, I go on a regular basis. Portions are massive.

Good Chinese chippy, good food, good staff. Been there for years. Don't live in Glossop anymore, when I visit I always pop in for some good quality northern food, with gravy.

FISH DISHES 95. Salt & Pepper Fish / £7.10 WOW WHAT A LOVELY TREAT, The fish was battered , lots of pieces, flavoured with JOY. i had chips with mine,£7.60 , but Wow was it worth it, homemade chips made with potatoes ( NOT these oven baked hollow ones )

Can't comment on the Fish and Chips as we haven't tried but the Chinese food was ok but nothing amazing, just the standard you would expect up and down the land from most Chinese takeaways. I only gave 3 stars as there prawn toast was bad, (out of the combo box), where was the prawn!

The food is great. It's just a shame that it is still in the dark ages with their approach to card payments. Despite bing in the 21st century, they are still cash only (I assume it's a tax dodge?). This wouldn't be too bad but there are no cash machines nearby, so to order from here you either need cash or to make an extra journey into the town centre to a cash machine. If they sorted this out they would probably be the best Chinese in town. Not everybody mistrusts "cashless payments" and a lot of people like the convenience that card payments offer!

Fresh best fish Fluffy chips cooked fresh Fast wait times! Looks hygienically clean. Lots of staff. Always has customers queuing and this by far the best sign that it’s a good place for ordering food Also has a great deal on for lunch time menu and Saturday which is cheaper Not had one bad experience and I’ve been going here 20 years

Best gravy in glossop. Chips are mostly good. Sweet and sour chicken is spot on.

This is our “ Go to “ Chinese takeaway. ( virtually every weekend ) It gets very busy and rightly so. We telephone our order through and get told 10 or 15 mins and 10 or 15 mins later it is ready as promised. The food is lovely ,Garlic chilli chicken to die for. The two Chinese girls who serve are absolutely lovely and work so hard along with the lads cooking behind the scenes .give them a try you won’t be disappointed

The salt and pepper chips are amazing, I've tried them from every chippy in, and around the area and these are the best. I'll be sure to return and try some of their Chinese meals, especially on the lunch special menu.

Telephone ordered our large order food and it was ready in the 15 minutes as promised. We were staying nearby at a holiday lodge so it was a shot in the dark ordering and not knowing what the food was like, but we were so delighted. Once back at the lodge, all the containers were nicely wrapped to avoid spillage and hot. The food was tasty, lovely flavours and not salty. 10/10 for food and friendly service. I just wished you were in East Anglia, you could show our takeaway a thing or two! Thank you

i moved to Glossop a few months ago and was recommended this take away by the tradesmen working on my house. it has to be the best chinese I've ever had, the portions are huge, both chinese and chips. the staff are super friendly and incredible value for money for what you get. so much better than what I used to get down south.

I absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, you get so much, and it's not expensive in the slightest! The girls behind the counter are brilliant and so friendly, especially with my young son who collects our orders with me. I could get other food delivered, but I'd rather drive from hadfield to collect it from here. Top place!

Title says it all. Wide range of Chinese dishes and typical chip shop fare. Staff are really friendly and you seem to get a free bag of prawn crackers with most meals, even if it's fish and chips! And exceptionally good value. Most Chinese meals are under £6 which includes boiled rice or chips. They do a lunchtime special on some days for £4 for a more limited menu plus includes a can of pop!

Walked past this place loads of times and never tried it because not that well known. Had fish and chips tonight and best we've had in Glossop. Large portions everything fresh and we'll cooked.

We use Lee’s Garden quite often just because their food is just so good, Chinese or English. All in on your way through Glossop.

A really lovely hotel in a beautiful town , I stop often and staff are really friendly and helpful , the rooms are spotless and beds comfy which is not always the case with hotels , as for the food , not a huge menu but what they do is exceptional . Definitely worth a stay .

Lee's is easily the best fish you can get in Glossop go here if you like fish everyone you cannot go wrong

Whether its fish and chips or a Chinese meal you can't beat Lee's. It's a matter of taste and Lee's does Chinese food in a style that I like very much. Plus fish and chips are always done properly and are as non greasy as you can get.

We get takes outs from here quite regularily. The food is always good and the staff are friendly. Good Chinese food and traditional fish and chips too.

We have been going to Lee’s garden for many many years, and the last visit was such a disappointment. We moved away from the area 20years ago, however we still try and visit family monthly. We always call at Lee’s garden as it was always the nicest Chinese around. The last few visits have not been as good, and I think it may of changed hands. The chippy looks extremely dirty, the staff looked dirty, and I couldn’t see a rating displayed from the EHO for hygiene. As well as being unclean the food has gradually gone down hill, the most recent visit on the 3rd February the food was awful. The Chinese food was dry and burnt, and the chicken has an awful off taste to it. It was only because I had a 2 hour drive that I didn’t take it back and complain. I had already been driving for around 15 minutes when my children informed me of the quality of the food. We will NOT be visiting anymore. This is such a shame, as even when we lived in glossop this was always our preferred chippy, and my husband has been going to Lee’s garden for approximately 30 years.

The best food in and around Glossop.

Been on the hunt for a decent Chinese since I moved and got recommended lee garden by a friend. Originally went on a Friday night fully expecting to have to wait forever. Placed my usual order that I get at every Chinese and stood and watched all the people coming in. Surprisingly not a long wait as most people were getting fish and chips. The food is delicious, I always get fillet steak with black pepper sauce and it was perfect. Most places the steak is chewy and horrible but at lees it's lovely. The second time I went I ordered my usual and my OH was with me. He ordered chips, I should add I'm not a huge fan of chip shop chips, they were perfect not overly crispy or greasy like most places. Will be going back.

The most bland beef chow mein I have ever tasted. Terrible phone manners when told they'd forgotten items which they'd charged for. Horrible gravy, and the bbq ribs were so dry even the dog turned them down. Don't order from here.
