Tasty Yummy in Derby

I be grateful to the staff they are very helpful and supportive and the price are very low from the rest of food place in Derby i would recommend to anyone else

Today I ordered crispy shredded chicken when I opened the container it was only half full at the price of £6.90 you would have thought it would have least had been full, but having tasing it I was very disappointed, the onions and carrots in the dish was the only thing you could have called crispy, has the chicken was very soft and soggy, disgusting, this is one of my favourite dishes and I have had this dish in numerous places and never have I had it taste like this, it was inedible

Not impressed! Try any other Chinese in Derby EXCEPT YUMMYS! Manager is rude and useless!!!!! If I could give a 0 then I would.

Food always lovely and hot and delivered on time never had a bad meal yet from here just wish there was more choices on the menu

Most of the food was juicy and delicious, the sweet and sour sauce was amazing so thick and tangy. They had a driver issue so we decided to collect, the food was ready before we arrived and the staff were lovely. 100% recommend the chicken and sweet corn soup, the chicken pieces were enormous and the soup so delicious. Only removed a star as the egg fried rice was abit bland and the burger a tad dry. Other then that it was perfect 🥰

Always love food, and the staff are fantastic, the takeaway is always at a fanatastic standard, one of the best chinese takeaways in derby.

I ordered food via Uber eats at 6:27pm with an estimated delivery time of 7:05-7:25pm. At 7:50pm I called them. The man who answered was rude and dismissive - basically it wasn’t his fault that the food wasn’t ready!! He told me I would get my order in 10-20 minutes. At 8:40 I rang again as no sign of my order. This time I was told that my food was nearly ready and would be 5-10 minutes. At least the person on the end of the phone was polite this time. My food arrived at 8:50pm. It was piping hot and was really nice but the experience was ruined by the 2.5 hour wait.

DON'T pay any attention to tlouise87, they clearly have an unprofessional and bias view (probably know the owners or something). This Chinese take away is fantastic, we've been ordering from them for over 2 years and never had a bad meal or service. They are always on time or early with a great standard of food and service, even during these covid times. We've had other Chinese food from many places in Derby and it just doesn't hit the same way Tasty Yummy does. Disregard tlouise87 as they are clearly a moron.

I Ordered £30 worth of food on the 18/9/2020 and this was the worse Chinese I’ve ever had.. firstly they were an hour late over the hour delivery time they originally stated so I waited two hours. If I hadn’t of already paid online o would of cancelled it at this point. When the food finally came the chips were refried and cold. I ordered four seasons witch had duck, chicken and other various meats that I couldn’t tell which was which apart from the duck had thick fat on it.. the rice had a sour smell to it. The beef chow mien was atrocious. There salt and chilli chicken was the only nice part of it all. All the food had no colour to it it was all brown and bland :( After calling to complain a man answered the phone and said they were really busy. I explained about how poor the food was and he said to me “we will try better next time” ?? There won’t be a next time from me anything I asked what else could be done to resolve the issue and again he just said “we will try better next time” and then put the phone down on me.
