The girl upfront was really kind! She made my day!

Order was delayed then it was delivered later than the suggested time order was done originally at 18:25 and did not receive until 21:10

Terrible. Wait time before order 35-50min. After order 100-120min. Received text to say running 10 min late. Didn’t show. Left a message. No response. Had to call. Brushed off. Order eventually arrived 25min after revised time. Almost 3 hours after ordering

Aside from the additional £2 delivery. The best Chinese there is In Lincoln. Food got on arrival full of flavour and well priced.

Call at 8 when app said delivered but apparently that was an accident. Called at 8:25 still no food and over 2 hours since ordering. Advised it left the shop ages ago. So now cold food. Over 2 hours wait and being lied to.

Long time to wait for the order, but it wasn’t late and it was on time. Food was exactly what asked for and still warm/hot. Overall I’m very happy with the order. Thank you.

Excellent food as always! Superbly fresh and tasty. Chips and fried items not soft or soggy. Noodles and rice delicious. Black Bean dish probably the best you’ll get, no joke.

Ordered on just eat. Had a phone call from them stating they wanted £2 extra for delivery. When the food did come very disappointed. Special chop suey was bland apart from a peppery taste, the meat was obviously cheap and very chewy. The chips were overcooked. Will definitely be not ordering from here again

The chop suey had an overpowering taste of pepper, the meat was of a cheap quality and chewy, the chips were overcooked and mostly crunchy

Paid delivery and then they rang to tell me I need to pay another £2.50 because the delivery driver says so

Horrible really, how can you put good quality chicken in the curry and then the worst jelly like chicken in everything else? The quality is shocking, can’t believe you’re actually allowed to call it chicken. Flavoured jelly rot would be more accurate

Don’t order from here, they will call up asking for more money for delivery then make you wait for over 2 and a half hours for your food. It was delivered cold when complaining about the delay they didn’t care. Order QUALITY is better than order quantity.

Hit and miss sometimes as I’m sure the chips are reheated through the week. Ruins the meal. Tonight was fantastic. Everything spot on. Haven’t had one for a while as the reheated old chips put us off. Legal food is one of the only decent Chinese’s left

Nearly 2 hours for food, have eaten just before going to bed now and will struggle to sleep. First thing I have eaten all day and was absolutely starving by the time it had arrived. Wish I hadn’t bothered now and walked to shop would be quicker

Food was 10 minutes late, and was handed to me by a child (accompanied with mother). Very random, didn’t know child labour still existed.

This was the second time we ordered from this place and the second time we've been disappointed. The 1st time they got our order wrong and demanded extra for delivery, which we couldn't pay as we didn't have any cash. This time the cancelled the order, without any notice, and blamed it on the extra delivery charge that we couldn't give the previous time. They have lost another customer as I know this has happened to others. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else! This place is rubbish!

The delivery was good. (Not bothered about the dogs). The food was hot and large portions. Its taste was AMAZING and not greasy. We loved it. Best Chinese I’ve had in years.

Having ordered before and found food tasty and delivery quick, went to order again and our order was cancelled with no explanation, after we’d been waiting for the order for half an hour. When calling the restaurant they lied and said it was because we didn’t answer the phone to them when they called to tell us there was an extra delivery fee (they never called us). So rude!

Fried rice was tasteless, curry was cold and runny, salt and pepper chips had about 3 slices of onion and pepper in total on them! Won’t be ordering again

Delivered early, was all hot and delicious. Very pleased with our choice. Have used before and definitely will again.

Chow mien wasn’t as nice as usual , had a weird smell to it & salt & pepper chips were a little hard

I was extremely disappointed with my order, I use to use this chinese for years when my dad was alive and it was one of the best! My usual was closed for a staff holiday so I thought I would use the prior second best chinese, sadly this was not the case. The food was bland and tasteless hardly any meat in the special fried rice or chow main, it was dry and the sauce was extremely minimal in my king prawn and cashew nuts, the king prawns were tasteless too! Mega disappointed! Stick to my usual!

Don’t usually get a Chinese takeaway as they always seem to be a bit of a let down…until today, we used Legal Food in Lincoln following recommendations from colleagues, have to say the name is very off putting and why we’ve never used them. So glad we listened to others….the food is excellent, very tasty, hot and absolutely delicious, not a let down at all! Highly recommend

The sweet and sour chicken HK style had tough pieces of chicken in, it wasn’t nice at all

Salt and pepper chicken was great, however the crispy duck was slimy

Over cooked Pork balls, pork inside was like eating a old boot, so tough. Special chop suey? Nothing special, beansprouts and Onions, and very little meat cut into thin strip, what there was of it, & No King Prawns at all.. tiny shrimps. The Egg fried rice was awful ...No egg in it, and really bland. I was hoping this place had improved looking at the feedback on here. So I thought I would try this place again....after about 5 years... But I should have stayed away. Disgusting food. I was a chef, and If I dished this up to anyone ... I would expect it thrown back at me. How can you serve this to the public?!

Restaurant requested an extra delivery fee in top of the fee I had already paid on the app even though I am less than 5 miles away.

the food was lovely and on time. but after paying £2.50 for delivery and .50p for a service charge. they asked for an extra £2 cash for delivery after I payed the bill. Not sure what's going on there!!!

Food was initially delivered to the wrong address. Only with a phone call to the establishment did the food eventually arrive.

Always ordered from legal for the last 5 years it’s always been amazing, I always order duck curry and it was always amazing, the last 3 times the duck has been so thin in the curry, it looked like beef curry. Really let down that’s why gave it 3 chances but won’t go back again

It was good that my order of delicious chicken curry and everything was a bit earlier than expected, as I didn't really want to wait for over 1 hour 20 minutes anyway, I was ready before I ordered, so thank you very much, and have a good Christmas.

Food has definitely improved since the last time we had it. Chow mein was brilliant.

The meal was late but wasn't a problem as they're always busy. The food was piping hot and delicious as always.
