Suppose to be open until 11 on Google but they just close when they like. Cash only, must be some sort of tax fiddle.

Worst Chinese we have ever eaten, food was slimy, mushy and extremely disappointing. Unfortunately our usual was closed so thought we would give this one a go, big mistake! Will not be eating from here again. Avoid at all costs!!

had food from here a few times and always been nice however we ordered from here the other night and the food was cold and soggy the chicken in the foo yung looked slimy and really put us off

We ordered from this place on just eat, we ordered this at 5.30pm asked for it to come at 8.30pm as we were in the pub having a few drinks. Order was accepted and at 6.20pm had a message saying it was on its way! We tried to ring but didn’t pick up so we ran home just making it for 6.20pm then the food arrived at 7.50pm I mean what the F. The food wasn’t very nice, it was cold like it was cooked when we ordered them they realised it said 8.30pm but sent it anyway. DONT USE THIS PLACE

We where camping near by and decided to give this takeaway a try and it blew my mind it was fantastic I just wish I could pick it up and take it home with me as my local Chinese takeaway is no where near as good. It was delicious

Just wanted some tap water for my dog on a hot day, staff said they don’t have tap water (clearly a lie) then they said we can’t do anything but you can pay for a bottle of water. Didn’t even offer a bowl. Really bad attitude and zero people skills. Outside of work you should work on yourselves because your lacking in humanity!

I live less than 5 minutes away but due to rain I got a delivery it turned up 45 minutes after ordering and was extremely cold very disappointed

Was a little underwhelmed with our meal tonight. Arrived before estimated time which was great but it was cold. The chicken chow mein was dry and just tasted of noodles (nothing chow mein about it) with very wet, slimy chicken pieces. The chips had been overcooked and were hard. Chicken fried rice was lovely.

Use this place regularly, food is decent and it's nearby but their customer service is very poor and they are unorganised. Ordered a meal 6-10pm. Nothing had arrived by 7.35pm so phoned them. They said they were busy and food would be a further 45-50 minutes. if i was walk in customer would I wait for almost 2.5 hours for my meal..... I think not. Went to the Orient on Birchwood, delivered in 25 minutes and it was very good quality.

They had MINIONS on when I was in there waiting, it was glorious. Such good vibes

Ordered a quarter of aromatic duck. I examined my bill and noticed I had been charged for half aromatic duck. When I pointed this out I was informed too late to change as cooking had commenced. Place is scruffy and unfriendly staff. Will not be going again. Disappointed as meal far too much for one person .

Be warned, all cold drinks are under £2. Great! Minimum spend to pay by card in a near cashless society? £2 of course. If you only want a cold drink on a hot day and don’t carry cash, you can’t have one. Simple as that.

The chow mien tasted and looked like a pot of salty wall paper paste Suffice to say I won’t be going here again!!!!!!!!!!!

Over 2 hours to get food delivered. Food was pretty poor quality. Delivery driver didn’t deliver the whole order and had to return (after I called to query the missing items) 20 minutes later to drop off the rest of the order. Overall a poor experience all round.

OK. The food tastes good and wasn't waiting long. Ordered kung poi chicken (preferably battered with cashews ) got sweet n sour...not my fav. Asked for dry special chow main with egg on top...I got wet instead

Good chinese food. Open late. Very fast service. Ordered spicy chicken fried rice with extra spice and was severly disappointed, it was not spicy in the least my wife who doesnt like spice like i do also agreed it was not spicy. Ordered spring rolls and they were good but no sweet-and-sour sauce was provided. Ordered an appetizer of beef something and it was decent. My wife had kung pow chicken and it was awful, she could not finish it. Food was quickly done which was the only positive

Decent little hatch cafe serving food and drink. Social distancing and PPE in effect. Prices are decent. The food is pretty standard but does the job. Nice and clean and don’t have to wait too long. Worth a stop if at the park.

Excellent takeaway salt and pepper chips fabulous

Been using for a while as struggling to find a good Chinese in Lincoln. As a regular complained once about the lack of sweet and sour sauce received with s and s chic balls Gave me more that time ( the same youd receive anywhere else ) next time sent the delivery driver out with his hand out for an extra £2 . Quality service NEXT.

Asked if I had a mask, told her I'm exempt, told me to wait outside until it's ready, so I asked her if I had a mask would I have been allowed to wait inside for my food of which she replied yes. So if you have a genuine exception due to disability they shall discriminate against you and treat you like a leper. This is not government guidelines and is infact AGAINST THE LAW to discriminate against anyone due to their disabilities, virus or no virus! You've lost a long time customer as I wont be returning and will make it known locally that you mug people off like you have. Disgraceful.

Found a bug in my noodles. Awful customer service too, guaranteed food poisoning. That chicken is also 100% not chicken

Used to order from here a lot. Came back to Lincoln to visit and ordered 2 weeks ago, the quality was disgusting, I ended up throwing it away. The sweet and sour sauce came like it had been used from the day before, basically a solid block! The chicken balls were like frozen chicken strips! I'm assuming there are new owners, will never use again.

Not happy at all!!! The chicken balls had a weird taste to them. Curry sauce was so thick you could have used it as wallpaper paste. Chips were rubbery and not nice. The rice, well considering it should have been egg fried rice ended up with plain boiled rice. The Special foo yung was awful. It looked like they had fried an egg and put it top of the meat and onions in it. The prawn in it was very chewy and had a weird texture to it. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Very dissatisfied and will not be ordering again.

Lovely hot tasty food. Delivered very quickly too. Other Chinese takeaways we have ordered from aren't nearly as good as this one.

I've just had chicken curry and egg fried rice and it was the best one I've ever had, so nice and fast delivery 5*****

We dont have take aways that often but when we do we stuck to the same chinese but our son told us about this one we didnt think any other would top this but Hartsholme chinese has love it. So when we want another treat night this is where we will come 👍👍.

Great food, but it's annoying when they say that the food will arrive in well over an hour and it turns up in 20-25 minutes. They should be more honest with expected arrival times rather than exaggerate possible lateness to improve their delivery time score.

Always good food but seriously, 35 minutes early is ridiculous. Luckily my husband could get home to collect but neither of us was home at the time.

Chips were dry and tasteless. The banana fritter had hardly any syrup in. The chicken curry was acceptable however I felt the chicken wasn't best quality. Got free prawn crackers on spending more than £15 Inc delivery which wasn't mentioned but a nice touch. My search for a great Chinese takeaway continues

A first-rate Chinese takeaway with all the usual fare on offer. the staff are friendly and helpful the food is cooked quickly, and usually comes with a bag of prawn crackers for free. parking is easy outside the shop for those wanting to order from home there is an online service as well that you can even use PayPal with well worth a try in my view

Every thing on the menu is great standard and lovely

I have to say this is a great Chinese. We regularly order from here and the food has always been good. The beef curry is fantastic in my opinion

Food good but delivery later than informed by the confirmation email. Restaurant said very busy but then admitted they delayed it to coincide with two other deliveries in my village. Weren't prepared to do anything about it.

Shocking. Had my 10 year old waiting I called 15 minutes after it was due and not even started to cook it with zero communication. Outrageous

Really unhappy with quality of the food. Ordered vegetables with cashew nuts and got flavorless vegetables in weak greasy sauce with a separate pot of about 15 cashew nuts - they weren’t even cooked with the dish. Bizarre! Won’t order again - half the food was cold despite being delivered a little early. Very poor

I’m disgusted almost two hours late and still no food! Called twice promised it’s on the way and it’s clearly not as I live down the road. Why take payment and not inform customers how long it’s actu going to be!! I wouldn’t of ordered otherwise!! My family are now all asleep so paid for a order that no one will even be awake to eat! Your customer service skills need evaluating if you wish to succeed in business! I will be sharing my experience far and wide!

We ordered just over £50 worth of food including the 'salt and pepper chicken wings' and discovered, upon eating them, that they were a vibrant shade of pink. The initial disgust of this not only put us off our entire order but also raised concerns about the quality of the other food that we had begun to eat. Immediately after identifying this issue, I contacted the restaurant several times but received no answer, so then called JustEat (the company we used to order the food from) to complain about our hazardous takeaway and they told us they would call back in 5 minutes after calling 'Hartsholme Park' themselves. When I received the phone call back, my flatmates and I were shocked to hear that our claim has been denied and there was nothing they would do in compensation for the fact that £50 worth of food had gone to waste. As not one to usually complain, I would advise all future customers to be cautious when ordering and choose somewhere else. If no further action takes place after this review, we will be reporting this establishment to the 'Food Standards Agency' with the pictures attached.

I was disappointed it was late as we were hungry. if someone had phone to let me know it was going to be late then I would have been ok but I was left waiting.

When it was 15 minutes past the stated delivery time, I rang to find out where my food was. They told me it was just leaving, and offered no apology. The food finally arrived 30 minutes late. The deliverer was friendly, but also seemed not to even be aware of how late the food was. The food itself was above average for takeaways in the area.

Food is always good however it’s never on time. I was told my food would be here at 7:10 and it’s nearly 8 and I’m still waiting

ordered food at 9pm and it would take 45 mins to come, by 10pm food still hadn’t arrived so rang up to be told they had just started cooking it and it would be there in 30 mins, rang again at 10.45 to be told they were cooking it and it would be there soon. Food eventually arrived at 11.05, the food was cold and very greasy when it arrived.

Food was lovely and the order was delivered 5 minutes before the expected time. However my partner threw up in the early hours of the next day and this is expected to be from the ribs, as this is the only thing that he ate that I didn’t, and the only thing out of the ordinary he ate that day. Just a warning if you order anytime soon.
