Terrible experience the other day, food was awful, soggy and meat you wouldn't wanna give to your dog. I wouldn't eat from here again no wonder had 3 star reviews at best

Woeful food, tiny boxes (even when ordered large) expensive prices. Go anywhere else but here, absolutely awful.

Seen the man touch raw meat with his bare hands not wash his hands and touch cooked noodles which is in storage in large amounts (contaminated the whole pot) then carries on touching other ingredients with the same hand. Unhygienic and big risk of food poisoning, made him aware of it instantly and he said "don't tell me how to do my job" good thing I was just picking up the order for delivery.

Ordered their food was supposed to be a meal for delivery to break fast Ramadan meal… absolutely disgraceful… ordered food as delivery 2 hours after ordering and fast is broken they ring me to say they don’t do delivery. Ended up being stuck with no food for 4 hours in total. May allah punish u for the grief you caused my family today.

Absolutely loved it! Was hesitant after some not very nice reviews but can I tell you this is too tier food!! Kitchen was immaculate and staff were so so friendly. The food was just delightful too with plenty of meat! Will be back again soon 😍

So after my friend recommended we eat at this place we arrived and instantly the room was crammed and the atmosphere wasn't pleasant. We ordered our food and the service was very good, the staff were polite and very quick. The food however was a let down. I ordered the vegetarian noodles with spicy potatoes. Now I must say the potatoes were cooked perfectly nevertheless they were bathed in oil and the noodles were too bathed in oil and quite tasteless. They were like elastic bands. After a small helping it became sickening and I had to throw it away. Wouldn't really recommend the place however, this is just my opinion.

We had sushi, the food made was really fresh and a really cheap price. Would recommend to come to the place itself to have food since it’s so much cheaper and fresher. The staff of the place was extremely nice and gave us desert on the house and sauce to try with the sushi. Only thing they should consider is maybe decorating the inside so its more homey.

As a experienced head chef watching my food cooked right infront of myself, I know the cook had some skill up his sleeve. Not only that he talked to me the whole process, getting to know me and made me feel very comfortable. Not only that he provided a additional recommendations which definitely made my food taste much better. Service 10/10 and Food 10/10. Amazing man behind the counter cooking with passion. Thankyouuu!!!

‪BAD BAD BAD!!!! Wrong order and when I called they had the nerve to tell me they didn’t have my order and stuck in something else very badly presented, late delivery, wrong ride!!! Kept me out in the cold while the app said “arrived”. Bet unhelpful when I call Now I’m starving! Wrong wrong wrong!!!‬ That for over £20? COWBOYS! I wish I could rate sub ZERO!

Went today for dinner, service was amazing! Staff were so friendly. The food was amazing too, good portion of meat, as much veg as you like, and free egg! Not to mention portion size when eating in is amazing! I can’t wait to go again :)

Disappointed as I ordered prawn dumplings and received tempura prawns instead cus as they have written on the receipt, they don't have dumplings anymore... You shouldn't have accepted my order in the first place if you don't have what I ordered

Don’t eat here! The food tastes average, they supply the wrong order (my son’s beef noodle had no beef....), they are slow, the food is overpriced, the staff are as communicative as a towel. When I rang to say the beef dish had no beef, the response was “...didn’t it? Oh sorry”

The customer service in this place is very poor. There’s nothing like it. Went twice for lunch food was actually ok, but having attitude to your customers is a BIG NO!

Food was quite nice here. I got a supersize box for 7.99 which included noodles with chicken and beef the food was cooked very nicely and had a large quantity I’d recommend this place and if you want to eat they’re good go into the shop, brilliant customer service.

The food was ok. For the price, I do not think it's worth it. The flavours are all separate instead of together. The dumplings don't taste like dumplings. Overall it was an average experience

Fantastic fresh food with a lot of choice. They went through a bad patch where they kept closing earlier than advertised, but I think they've managed to sort themselves out now.

Had to wait about 5 mins before I even got acknowledged, I ordered the most spicy sauces, but it still wasn't as spicy as my partners! The fork snapped, and it didn't fill me up, even tho the portion size was good. I'll go again tho.

If you are used to the cooking of south east asian food (Singaporean/Malaysian/Bruneian), this place will disappoint you. We tried their spicy, sweet & sour, lemon chicken and found that there was very little chicken meat at all. most clumps were predominantly flour with very little meat at all... We would recommend this place. There are other better places to eat if your palate is used to the aforesaid cuisine

Food was 15 mins late. Opened of the boxes to find that the food was burned. We called to let them know. The person on the phone was rude & said he didn't burn the food & to call back in ten mins. He the called back and shouted at me. Extremely rude people. Will not use again

I ordered takeaway. They got my order correct which was good since alot of people give bad reviews about that. The sweet and sour sauce was not the best I've had, it has sort of a chocolatey taste. Most disappointing thing was the size of the box. The box in the picture is classified as a large. The portion size is about the same as any other £5 Chinese place but cost over £8. Overall it's not a bad place to get food from, but just a little too expensive compared to other local competitors.

For a vegetarian you can only order fried rice and fried noodles..with potato vegetable..taste was just ok..there are many other places in the area which have a good variety for vegetarians.

We don’t live in Leicester but often find ourselves travelling home (up north) and always try to divert via Leicester just to eat at Wok In Wok Out. It’s not glamorous, but it’s not expensive either. What you do get is a simple menu with a wide choice of fresh ingredients. Personally, I enjoy the theatre of watching my food cooked in front of me. Net result is a piping hot plate of deliciousness in a very short time. In all the years we have been coming back, we have only been disappointed when they’ve been closed! I have read the other reviews here but find them difficult to comprehend as they do not reflect my own experience.

Was craving a tasty Chinese for dinner and went here for food. I had a large box, with beef, noodles and veg in blackbean. The food was just okay, filled a spot but no 'WOW' flavours or anything special. Wouldn't particularly go again because I know you can get better but it was cheap and cheerful enough!

The only thing which I didn't like was the over charging on delivery. I paid £2 for it and then got told it would be another £2 as I was 5 miles away. Just think it's a rip on delivery charges really. Food was great as always.

Food was very poor and lacked any real flavour or taste. I was lucky to find 3-4 shreds of chicken in my meal. The meat content seemed more like a garnish than an actual main ingredient. Very disappointing - Stick to Oodles - much better!

I was very excited to try some Chinese food. The selection looked excellent but when I got the food... underwhelmed doesn't really describe it. There was no flavour, the beef was burnt and very sparse, the udon noodles were overcooked, I just really was not impressed. I like to think it was just a one time thing but perhaps it wasn't. On the upside the dumplings were good...

I must admit that this was the best basic Chinese in a box since it opened, freshly cooked in front of you, hands down my favourite. Recently I placed an online order for collection, only to drive out to the branch in Oadby to find that it had closed down with a message in the window directing me to another branch some miles away, contradicting the instructions on the website when ordering specifically for that branch. Also, I found that recently they have been a bit tight on the meat with only a few tiny pieces, I mean come on, £5 affords a little chicken at least! Can't see how they failed though - lots of orders and food/concept was good, such a shame! Not personally experienced anything like the other reviewers have to be fair.

Me y la familia sufrió la enfermedad muy mal e informó que el Consejo de Seguridad Alimentaria de Leicester para garantizar lo mismo no sucede a nadie. Investigar y encontrar problemas serios con los procesos de negocios y trabajó con el para intentar resolver. El director no era en realidad compensarnos y enojado porque nos informó de él, no pena ni remordimientos de ningún tipo. Por favor ten cuidado ya que podrías sufrir de intoxicación grave. ¿Por qué quiere comer desde un lugar que no importa la calidad de la comida o de seguridad para sus clientes! ?

Got a delivery time confirmed via email and it was over 40 mins early and had to rush out the shower - very inconvenient. Food was bland and nothing special ended up throwing most of it away- would not order again. The service wasn't great due to the inaccurate delivery time and rude delivery driver. Waste of money.

Ordered food to then receive a call 40 minutes later saying they cannot deliver due to it being 9 miles to deliver but when I checked it was only 4 miles away from my house. They then requested me to pay an extra £2 but when talking to the man about delivery charges it turns out it's an extra £1 every mile over 8 miles so he tried charging me more. Not happy at all!!!!! RIP off

Pagué 7 libras. 50 para un tamaño super fuerte de fideos con todas las verduras, el cordero y el pollo. Era como comer algo de fideos desagradable y casi nada de carne instantánea y tomando en salsa de soja. Los fideos más asqueroso que he comido. El lugar no es puro, sino auténtica comida china china indo-. Un montón de salsa de soja, una cucharada de carne, mucha sal shreddings y preparado por los chefs de la India.

Y ME DIERON 5 / 6 posibilidades aftet tan mal, con la esperanza de que sería mejor, pero aún así no es buena en lo más mínimo. Mi hermana sólo volví a casa con una caja y digamos que ahora sentado en la mesa. Aún.. Que me hizo pensar que ya es hora de que escribí esta crítica. We ordered x2 large boxes with the new crispy chicken, one was with curry sauce and the other, sweet and sour. They tasted absolutely awful and this is no exaggeration, we were most disappointed. I called Wok in Wok out to see what they could do but their customer service skills were appalling, it was like pulling teeth, their initially response was 'nothing' until I said if I ordered this in a restaurant it would be sent straight back and I would not be expected to pay or offered an alternative.Long story short I went back to the take away and they eventually agreed to offer me a refund but for only one box however when I got back home I realised they'd short changed me by £2! Unbelievable, first and LAST time!

We were sent the wrong non-vegetarian order (home delivery) and on raising this with management, were immediately informed very brusquely that this was our fault. We phoned a more senior manager who apologised profusely and stated this was not the first time such an error had taken place on the day- she promised to send the correct order and free starters. An hour and a half later the order still hadn't arrived. Called her back and strangely, she didn't seem to hear me for the first 5 calls/ didn't answer the phone. My mum called from her phone and there was a miraculous response. This manager then said that she had discussed it with the respective branch who had initially delivered our order and decided that it was our fault and the order would not be delivered.We were stunned with the poor service. Very disappointed.

Most ridiculous customer service I have ever had the 'pleasure' of dealing with. Order was entirely wrong, a vegetarian order was delivered with beef and no ownership was taken whatsoever for the order being wrong. A simple switch of order or even a simple gesture of good will could have saved the loss of 4 previously regular customers. Order took longer than 1 hour, vile and abusive members of staff who themselves admitted to a mass of complaints they have had today but despite this no attempt of reparation made whatsoever. Shockingly awful.

Very disappointed with the service from wok in wok out. Food wasnt as good as it has been. Delivery time was way too long. This is the second time i have been left waiting around for ages, last time ordered via their websote rabd up after 1hr 40mins only to be told their online system isnt working . Beware if ordering on Sundays I was told the welford road brand doesnt open so all orders are done through their Oadby branch. Such a shame seems the more well known they get the worse the service and food quality gets.

Usually love the food from here but today was not so good. Ordered food between 11.30/11.45. Received a call from them 45 mins later to say they couldn't do some of our order. Order was delivered after 1pm & not close to the usual standard

ordered at 8:30 on a Weds night.. first time said 9:20 then updated to say 10pm. Tried to call to cancel but no answer. Final arrived at 10:10pm. Food was so so so hot thatub it must have been nuked in the microwave, no way it was that hot out of a wok. Food was greasy and bland.

Tasty food, freshly prepared and good value for money. Our family has also tried delivery service and the food was as warm as it is when you visit the premises.
