The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I usually order from here never again I got charged £17-90p for special chow mein,chips and some chicken balls unless they've made a mistake I was overcharged from the normal price without been told the prices had gone up.

Sadly didn’t even get to order as they only take cash! In this day and age, not accepting cards is a red flag - clearly avoiding paying tax!

Just lost a regular customer tonight we have ordered every other week at this place but after being accused of being a liar tonight they can stick it. We ordered three soups two were half full, prawn toast quarter of a slice of bread size, and no prawns crackers. The assistant that took the call back was friendly enough and accepted they would replace the food as well as an extra portion of noodles which we would of paid for. Five minutes after we received an angry call from I presume was the owner speaking to my wife like s**t and then I took the call he accused me of taking the Mick and saying the soups were full! Shocking customer service you really think I would lie over a £4 soup and £1.40 single piece of prawn toast! After orders of £25-40 a time for the last year! I brought the food back to prove that I didn't want a freebie soup/prawn toast absolutely pathetic!

First time ordering from here, never again. Food was tasteless and dry. Couldn't eat it. Expensive and absolutely disgusting.

The place needs some money spent on it, but don’t let that stop you from ordering - The food is always 10/10 from a chef that really knows what he is doing and is a nice guy. The wait time is usually 20-25mins. Max delay I have had is an extra 5-10mins, but it’s always worth it. Also, a super easy pick up spot with the large car park across the road.

We phoned an order in and it was ready and waiting by the time I arrived. the Chicken Balls were twice the normal size and the House Special Chop Suey was delicious.. Thank you Chopsticks House.

Best Chinese in town. Food always amazing , although they are slightly more expensive then some others the portion size is bigger so better value

This is my go to Chinese since moving to Barry 3 years ago. Always order here. Delivery is quick, food is always ALWAYS fresh and tasty, and you cannot...just CANNOT beat their prawn balls!!! I'd recommend the prawns balls, love their chips, and the satays and currys are lovely, especially the way they do their satays. Would recommend. 100%.

Shengs is our local Chinese takeaway. The food is gorgeous, the portion sizes are large and the staff are amazingly friendly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food after ordering it. The first time we visited this takeaway, we thought it was quite pricey but after we received our food, we realised that the prices are in fact very reasonable. Rice, chips or noodles are included in each dish and the portion sizes are huge. We are so lucky to have this takeaway on our doorstep.
