Aww yeah had free prawn toast! Cannot fault that , lush food aswell I ate the lot, tidy this is my go to Chinese anyway

They stop doing deliveries before 11 but foods ok it just advertises differently annoyingly

The best Chinese food we have had in a long time.

Please people don't order as I have had a really horrible experience still not received a refund as they have told foodhub that they will refund me, I never post anything about food places but they have lied through and through.

Dont bother food dident turn up havent had my money back even when I turned up to speak to the owner he was rude didn't even offer a refund, terrible service I will be taking more action to get my money back. Lied and said that the delivery driver delivered the food but haven't had it, not even a sorry.

Ordered food , when it arrived a bag of chips was missing , it was an almost £40 order and the chips were £1.30 of that . Rang the ship and they wanted to check cctv , promised to phone me back , 2 hours later after no call I rang back and got a ton of attitude saying the cctv proved it was there and apparently the driver saw my prawn crackers ( we didn’t have any ) and my chips on top in the second bag ( we only had one ) he handed to us . The person on the phone also said our phone number was flagged with the ginger panda ( never heard of them !) for doing the same thing ! No refund , no offer of replacement. Food was Luke warm and greasy , do not order from here.

Don’t waste your time. Won’t replace a wrong order. Just offers free item next time. A free item next time doesn’t feed a family now. Won’t be returning, useless.

Call restaurant as we were missing our egg fried rice to be told they didn’t believe us and wouldn’t send another

Been a loyal customer for many years but cannot support the bussiness after our last order. The order was small 2 items. It took almost 2 hours to come. The cherry on top, after it we had bad stomachs. They usually been one of the best places in Barry but been going down hill

Ordered food late at night (they were still open) but the food never came even though I paid for it. I called the restaurant and they claimed they rung me even though i checked and they hadn’t. They refused to refund me and gave me a load of attitude.

Banging chinease proper cheeky crispy beef and a devious sweet and sour sauce but Jamie vardy walked through the door and got down on his knees and started doing she wap dance in front of my two 6 year old children who both said that has scared them for life

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE . ITS SO BAD. thay over charge and ther phone manner is appalling. AND not willing to make modifications to my order. Really who want 5 chickin items in one of ther munch boxes. Seriously very bad customer service if ther was a 0 star option that what thay would have had

First time ordering from here and now firmly my go to Chinese takeaway. Delivery was quick as and the food spot on , just loved have an egg on top of the Special Chow Mein ,been years since I had one those. The spare ribs were falling off the bone. My wife loved her food too. Thank you guys.

First time ordering from this establishment and oh my days, absolutely gorgeous the delivery was only about 5 minutes out but food was still fresh and hot and very filling and full of flavour, but the best of all was the sugar doughnuts tasted like the ones you get at a stall at a fairground, well done New Garden definitely worth the 5 stars and will definitely returning customers soon.

Ordered food from here last night, came quickly. They said up to 40minutes but it arrived 10 minutes later. It was inedible, it seemed as though it was packaged 3 days prior. Even the bloody dog turned his nose up. Binned it

The food was awesome. The selection of starters expensive and really impressive The Dim Sum was outstandingly good .The Spare Ribs, Beef Satay ,Sweet and Sour Chicken in batter was gorgeous and the fried rice delicious I will definitely be ordering again and recommend my friends, work colleagues and family to do so too. Used to order regularly but they have now come off just eat and offer no other suitable website alternative. Nothing worse than phoning orders like this. Sadly no longer use.

Wow ordered chicken curry , no mushrooms, no onions = curry sauce with peas!!!!! All kk so ordered a mushroom curry = full chicken curry with everything !!! Yet when I phoned back tonight Monday 1st June 2020 was told in ordered a mushroom curry with no mushrooms ????? Really!!! Dear God what school did you go to ???? Wondering what I was really charged for ??? Plus food is extremely peppered!!! Ugh Will not be ordering again!!!

Placed an order at 7.30 & it didn't arrive until 11.45. Food was terrible and I will never order from you again. Either hire more delivery drivers or don't take so many orders. Definitely going to stick with panda in future as they are a million times better. Do everyone a favour & close for good.

Absolute nightmare. Lady on the phone got my order wrong 3 times and then over charged me. When i asked to refund the correct amount they said no and will make the order up with more food, there was only 2 of us eating. Waited an hour and a half before calling only to be told there was no order for my address. Turns out the lady also got my address wrong and they had delivered to wrong address. Asked for a refund and was told not until they had recovered the food. Kept me waiting on the line everytime i called whilst they argued in the background. Phone call eventually ended with the boss coming on the phone and saying F*** YOU then hung up on me. They would not answer the phone again that evening. Evsntually got a phone call off the really polite driver hours later saying they had got the food back and would be refunding my account but still no sign of it. Worst service ever. DO NOT USE!!

Iam giving this place no stars what so ever!!! Absolutley Useless!! They got our order wrong 3 times on the phone!!!! We waited over an hour and our food didnt come so rang them and they sent our food to the wrong adress!!!!! asked them for our money back and they wouldn't as the food has been sent!! But not even to us!!!! We also paid on card because they wasnt taking cash. So tried ringing and wouldnt answer..absolute disgrace!! Managers at the end also heard him saying F you

First time using this takeaway and certainly won't be the last. Very reasonably priced. Good was hot and generous portions. Arrived 45 minutes early.

First time using new garden on just eat. Terrific food, piping hot and tasty. Arrived amazingly fast. Thank you we will be back.

Came up from devon, after reading reviews I wasn't expecting much. Either the 4 chinese takeaways down by me aren't much to go by or this takeaway was amazing. I'd like to think the later. £50 fed 3 of us TWICE! (Leftovers) lovely food, reasonably priced. Will definitely order from here again.

Workable, only used once but food was hot and early, portions were generous and the mixed meat had lots of meat. Thumbs up.

First time ordering. Worst Chinese we have ever had. Not even my children could eat it and they love Chinese. Never going back.

Food was cold, curry sauce was like water also, delivery guy was rude. Complained and they said there was nothing they could do about it!! Will NOT be using them again!

Overcharges for delivery, I live 2 mins down the road and they try to charge me 2 quid for delivery? Maybe look at where your delivering and cater to that actual customer, food is average at best, says something that they have to say their the best Chinese in Barry on their website lol

When it's good, it's good. But if it's bad, throw it out and don't bother. I don't know if they change chef or staff, but it the lottery on what service you get. Something that can be said, quit smashing do many huge onions on the food. Most hate onions, but when they are as big as these are it's over the top! If anyone's interested, Far East is the best, no I don't work for them... It's just the truth.

Tasty but not as good as our favourite one.

Took over 90 minutes to arrive, only 10 small pieces of salt & chilli chicken with half a tray of onions. Chips were rock hard & all food was lukewarm

Food was delivered early which was great , unfortunately it was absolutely disgusting and inedible such a waste of over £20 never again from here !!!!

Best Chinese I've had for a long time

We have ordered from here a couple of times over the last few weeks and the food has been great each time. It is a little dearer than other Chinese takeaways but feel that the quality of the food justifies this.

Delivered on time to Rhoose. Great food. Well priced. Very tasty. Would definitely use again. Recommended.

Ordered £82 worth of food and only got £40 worth of food rang the place to find out where the rest of food was to get told they don't know it should be in the box which clearly it wasn't and then hung up on when we started complaining, had to travel to shop to then complain and finally get everything it was my worse experience ever, I thought id also mention we ordered two jumbo sausage for the kids to one small sausage so had to share while we cooked something in the house for them so they were hungry also we actually ate something proper at 11pm which is just to late to eat. Don't suggest anyone order from here.

I called at 8.40 was told 30 to 40 mins turned up at 9.20 ,paid driver. Rang them back within 3 mins to tell them he had given us the wrong order. After being question about this for a few minutes. We finally were told they will call driver and call back. No apologies were given, in fact i was spoken to in a very short way. And given the impression i was inconveniencing them. 5mins later we were called back and were told the driver will be straight back to collect the food. Then go to the takeaway to collect freshly cooked food and back to me straight away. The driver took the food and brought us our food back 20 mins later. Which was cold and i believe was the original food, because the chips were slimy and cold as were the veg spring rolls. The order was also still wrong. I finally ate a cold meal at 10.45. My wife who had ordered prawn toast and chicken fried rice went without. Complete waste of money dont order from them.

I've never had a bad belly so far

Food was bland and way over cooked! Chicken balls were like rubber Egg fried rice was bland and like rubber Charged extra to change sauce and it was not even included in my order!

One star as the food wasn't too bad. Ordered around 7.15, was told 40 minutes. I called them at 8.15, they said 10 minutes. Food arrived, wrong order. Asked me to explain around 10 times what I had received, and kept me on the line whilst arguing/ discussing the matter with colleagues. Food finally arrived at 9.50, and we were accused of not having paid (which we had over the phone). We had to spend 10 minutes trying to get the delivery driver and the people at the takeaway to understand. No refund offered - appalling service.

1st time I eat here it wasn't bad..thought it needed a little improvement but the 2nd time I ordered it took an hour and half for food to get here .. arrived warm not hot... The food was horrible the crispy beef tasted weird never tasted it like that before. salt and chilli chicken looked like it been sat out for ages also the noodles were disgusting they looked burnt but weren't .. the curry is so thick it comes out in clumps .. frozen chips were horrible.. I wouldn't recommend this place won't eat here again also over charged me by £2. won't even bother again . Don't even understand how people have given 4-5 star rating ..

Best Chinese I’ve had in Barry in many years very good service and excellent quality food. They also have a 5* star hygiene rating which is superb !! Thanks for a great meal all my friends love it!!!
