Morrissons Cafe; Woking in Woking

Again, excellent service at breakfast, Quality of coffee and cooked breakfast excellent bearing in mind the low cost......about half that of a higher quality restaurant . Comfortable seating. Criticism is that the temperature in the cafe and restaurant was cold.

The surroundings may be unexciting, but the fish and chips have in my experience been superb - fresh sparkling white cod, freshly cooked - and at a very fair price.

No mugs. Coffee machine breaks down again. Toast was chewy. Bread obviously out of date. Staff efficiency zero. They have 2 members of staff that are great but both not here today

We ordered from the table with the QR code and then had to retrieve our bottles from the counter. This was our first time a Morrison Woking and the older member of staff was rude when approached for assistance. When she brought over the meals after walking around the cafe shouting “11” she slapped the dishes down on the table and walked away. Overall this was a very poor performance and let down. Only saving grace was the food was ok as just warm but plates hot!

The cafe was fairly busy Saturday morning, Service good and attentive. spacious and quite comfortable seating. The quality of cooked food was fairly good, coffee not great. We took advantage of offer of 4 breakfasts for £20....excellent value.

A dark cold dingy store with a darker colder dingier cafe. The soup was cold. On taking it back the assistant said 'it shouldn't be cold'. I agreed. She was going to microwave it. You shouldn't reheat chicken I said. 'I'm only following instructions'. We had jacket potatoes (warm) with cheese (cold) and salad (also cold so that' one tick). Why can't I have coffee made by a person instead of self-service? Why is it so difficult? The cafe was mostly empty at 3 in the afternoon. Most customers were staff on their lunch break. I will never visit again

Visited Morrison's Woking cafe for Breakfast this morning and was left very disappointed, didn't enjoy the breakfast at all, the bacon was just about edible, the Sausages were dry and tasteless, the eggs which I asked to be Yoleky were hard, the beans were cold and the mushroom was raw, the toast was hardly toasted and there were also dirty plates cups and cutlery every including the next table where there was a plate with a cold fried egg and half eaten bacon on it, absolutely disgusting so I moved to another table, think I'll stick with Poppins in Woking who do a fantastic breakfast, Shame on U Morrison!!

Brunch in Morrisons cafe,Woking can only be described as foul ! Baked potato with tuna was tepid and the side salad was limp Full English all day breakfast was also cold and the two fried bread was actually toast Disgusting ! We should have known though by the fact that the place was almost empty at one of the busiest times of day and also two members of Morrisons staff were eating McDonalds ! NEVER AGAIN

Quite a large cafe, few customers mid Saturday morning. Even fewer staff, Waited 30 minutes for cooked breakfast. Friendly staff apologised and gave free coffee. Management please note. Plates used too small for a small English breakfast...so use the larger plates please. The quality of the coffee and cooked breakfasts was ok, not great. Prices lowish and food good value. Apology for wait and free coffee pleased us

This cafe is now very disappointing. The staff are generally friendly but the service is terrible. Totally ignored whilst waiting to order. I was then told they were extremely busy. I counted 5 seated tables. Most of the items I tried to order were off the menu despite the cafe being situated within a large supermarket! Service was SO slow I had drunk my coffe ten minutes before my toasted sandwich made an appearance. One of the coffee machines was out of order and the other was delivering half mugs of coffee. Tables were not cleared. My toastie and chips were undercooked and cold. A waste of money and time. I also saw another person returning undercooked food whilst I was there. Get your act together Morrisons. This cafe should be a goldmine to your business. It used to be much better value for money and was run in a much better manner.

Been there a few times and the place isn’t brilliant. Understaffed tables not cleared . Unenthusiastic staff . No leadership. Food and drinks are good …… but just lacks effort by anyone . Feels like they don’t want to be there . No milk in the drinks section for the third time running . No sugar . Why isn’t this checked ? Needs a manager to oversee it .

The staff are friendly and so helpful and the food is now limited but still lovely and good value. The salads and the sweet potato fries are so fresh and tasty! Can’t fault it!

Good priced meals especially while on the help to eat out deal. Chicken burger and chips is exactly that no frills. Lots of cakes and snacks available. Only problem Is the service is slow, more staff are needed!

Large supermarket cafe, plenty of parking and seating choice, good range of food which is served quickly and fresh. Covid arrangements have put barriers between each table, only issue is that if you order a meal as well as taking something from the chiller, you have to wait for the meal to come to get your cutlery, as there’s no cutlery left out now. Overall, a decent place for a quick bite.

A lovely large store with ample parking that is free to customers for 3hrs, there is a fuel station close by plus they have a large cafe that sell a selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, hot meals, snacks, cakes, biscuits plus hot & cold beverages. Unfortunately when I visited at lunchtime today most of the cakes had run out, so I chose the last slice of carrot cake with a cup of coffee, it was a little stale but tasted delicious, good strength coffee in the machine too unlike some stores I have recently visited, plus the hot meals coming out of the kitchen whilst I was there looked tasty, especially the fish & chips & filled jacket potatoes, i can't wait to return!

sandwiches are always fresh and the coffee is excellent. Free refills too! The scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast were delicious, as was the porridge on another occasion. Convenient free parking for 3 hours. PS Morrisons doughnuts are the best for miles around!!

I have been here a few times recently. They have a new menu which I am really enjoying, especially the vegan breakfast. I have been a vegan for 34 years so it is still a delight to me to suddenly be able to eat just about anywhere. Morrisons have embraced the modern focus on healthier, more sustainable and more compassionate living (at least in their cafe) so I have been able to choose from a range of food. The staff may not all be equally knowledgeable (one lady has twice confused vegetarianism with veganism) but they bend over backwards to help and check ingredients. As it's a fairly new menu, they don't always have the entire range available, but are always willing to find alternatives. I can't fault anyone - the staff here are what makes this cafe special, and why I'll be back.

When you are shopping it is nice to find a cafe that caters for good food. Well at Morrison’s cafe the food is quite good but the staff the same old tired staff who have been there for years succeed in ruining the entire experience. A recent facelift has made this cafe a nice space now all they need to do is sack all the old miserable staff and start again

Again another well presented delicious meal. My wife and I called in on the spur of the moment for an evening meal. I had the all day brunch and my wife had the Lasagne. Both were delicious. Maybe a little side salad for the Lasagne would have just added that bit of class to the dish. But otherwise faultless. Service was excellent...5*

What a treat a breakfast at Morrison’s Woking is...really fresh, well cooked nicely served and a very friendly chap with a beard on the till. I have been to “Pish” restaurants that could learn a lot from this outfit...well done. Done miss it, you won’t be disappointed

This cafe is inside the Morrison’s Woking store and benefits from a recent refurbishment. The cubicles are rather a tight fit but there are plenty of tables and whilst it is often busy, I have never failed to get a table. There are regular offers and a large menu including healthy options and a roast on Sundays. The prices are very reasonable and with the large free car park this makes it the perfect spot to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don’t want to cook or want to meet up with pals. The fish and chips is good and so are the breakfasts (there are several options to suit all appetites). Condiments used to be charged but they are now help yourself and free. There is a decent filter machine and a choice of teas. Everything is paid for at the till. The meals ordered will be brought to you but snacks and drinks are self service. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I don’t believe there are enough though. You are supposed to put your tray into a trolley when you have finished but most people do not. This means that the tables are often littered with dirty items. Table cleaning and clearing is very slow. Several times I have seen one table with lots of discarded trays on it where people have cleared their own tables. If you are on a tight schedule this may not be the place for you because it can take a very long time for the food to reach you on a busy days although it has always been hot when I’ve received it late. I am prepared to overlook these small points because I think it’s good value for money in a nice environment and you can meet with pals of all budgets with no one feeling uncomfortable. There are often a number of lone diners too so if you choose to go alone you won’t feel that you stand out.Overall I would say go and try it out. I like it there.

It has been some time since I had the full Monty breakfast at Morrisons, but I certainly remember that it was an enormous size, so much so I struggled to finish, but what value for money. Well done Morrisons!

The food is always of a good standard and very good value. I have had many lovely breakfasts and the coffee is great. The milkshakes are definitely worth trying. They have a good selection of meals for children and often have amazing deals

Took my elderly mum for coffee and cake. We were served by a lovely young man who has a form of autism. What an amazing young man he was. Polite enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed his job. The cake was really nice and the latte just right. The cafe was clean with staff constantly watching for tables to clean. Morrisons you should be proud of youre staff

Good portions of traditional food, with basic self-service. Kids menu is excellent value and even more so when kids eat free with an adult main meal over £4.50 after 3pm.

The food was horrible and was not cooked very disappointed in them and will not be coming back again

Ordered mac n cheese. When food was delivered to my table I was given a small dish with a thin layer barely covering the bottom. The pasta was hard and I couldn't cut it with a knife. To make matters worse there was an eyelash on the top. Went to return my food and change my order to a jacket potato. All seemed well. They delivered my new order pretty soon after. I went to get some butter for my jacket. As I approached the sauce stand members of staff were gossiping about me and how I had returned my food. To my surprise they don't stock extra butter at the stand. However I felt belittled and didn't want to ask for any. I returned to my jacket potato, which was pretty basic. I can definitely say I will be in no hurry to return to the cafe, the store offers competitive priced products with staff DNA and an extra flare of attitude.

Often meet friends for a coffee there........ prices are cheap. You make your own tea and coffee. Slow with clearing tables, maybe short staffed.

I come here from Guildford about every six weeks and just have a snack but my friends have a meal which they usually say is very good. Very reasonably priced and a restaurant with a happy atmosphere.

We went here for breakfast and were satisfied with the choice of food and drink.

Not much of a range to pick one for breakfast but all very edible. Hot, plenty, good service, friendly staff, clean tables. Shame the drinks are out of a machine

The store was recently refurbished but why didn’t they do something about the Restaurant area. It takes up lots of valuable retail space and yet you never see it anywhere close to full. The reason seems to be inedible rubbery or tasteless food and poor quality hot drinks. It looks, feels and tastes cheap - not surprising as the prices are but then lower prices need not mean lower standards.

I had not darkened the doors of Morrisons in Woking for quite a while, so decided to try it for a Saturday breakfast. The menu seemed to be 'enhanced' since my last visit, and now offered a decent 'big breakfast' with a toast-and-juice add-on option. I went for this, and it seemed very good value.

Visited for the first time as I was doing research in the Surrey History Centre which is virtually next door. My wife ordered the chicken & avocado salad and we were warned of a short delay as it would be prepared fresh from ingredients in the shop. I ordered a cooked breakfast. Both arrived together and my wife's meal was of restaurant quality with large chunks of fresh avocado and large bites of chicken. My breakfast must have been prepared and then kept under lights while the salad was prepared and was not of the usual Morrisons standard. Four stars for the salad, two stars for breakfast therefore a three star average.

The wait for food to come out is terrible. Not viable for someone on their lunchbreak due to the waiting. When the food finally came out it was not hot, it wasnt even what you call warm, i guess tepid would be the word. I complained to the server who said she heard me but it had just come out and did not do anything more with my complaint.

Metimos en un brunch de Sábado mañana rápido mientras fuera haciendo algunas compras. No me impresionó. Después de pedir mi comida en el mostrador donde me sirvió algunas criaturas chungas me pareció una mesa sobre la que sentí la necesidad de hecho algunos cubiertos en mi enjuague agua hirviendo antes de usarla.

I have had better ! What can I say, if you ask for anything that's not on the menu be prepared for a blank stare whilst the tumbleweed goes by ! Morrisons cafe staff can only walk in straight lines like robots of yesteryear,food is & equivalent to a cats walnut whip.....bad experience on my behalf.

Cute little cafe in Morrisons, has everything you might expect and has a good range of drinks and food. Was very similar to the M&S cafe so quite impressed.

Don't often go to Morrison's (as Asda is very nearby) but the Woking Town Centre roadworks gave us a welcome diversion down to Morrisons.I'd forgotten what a huge place it is and the range of items in the supermarket is incredibleBut the Café is very good indeed and well worth a visit - even if you hate supermarket shopping. Very clean, service was first-class, food well-prepared and well-presented. Teas & coffees very good indeed - just as good as High St Coffee Shops only more of it and cheaper!Will definitely be going there again - roadworks or not!

Always guaranteed great service in this cafe, perfect after finishing the morning weekly shop, kids get a great choice of food and I love the poached eggs and extras! can't beat it for value and freshness.

First time back after 4 years and it is just as bad . I had a coffee and it clearly appeared as if they had forgotten to put coffee in it .

Every year my Mum and I go out for Christmas Lunch and every year choose a different place. This year it was Morrissons in Woking. After last year at a Tesco restaurant, where they somehow managed to run out of cranberry sauce and the vegetables were not cooked properly, i had my concerns about this year. I couldn't be more wrong, when we arrived, we ordered the 3 course Christmas Lunch and although we had to wait for a bit for the food to be cooked it gave us time to sit down and have a catch up. When our food arrived, it looked lovely and very presentable and tasted great. The portion sizes were just right and the vegetables were freshly cooked and not cooked from frozen. Very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and professional. The only criticism i have is that someone needed to come out more regular with the trolley to clear the tables ready for the next customers but other than that, the place was clean and i will definately be going back.

Good service pity that the car park rules aren't enforced regards blue badge parking. But friendly staff and helpful

Don't rely on the offer of hot food here especially on Sundays. Three times I have now got here at 2pm and they've finished seving all hot food. Excuses range from being short staffed to running out of food (ermmm in a supermarket??!). When you've planned your day so you have your lunch then do the weekly shop it's inconvenient especially Sundays as you have no time to go elsewhere. If you are really desperate for a Morrisons Cafe take the short trip onto Weybridge where they offer much better service.

Rushed back to woking to get here before they stopped Sunday Lunch although i made it on time they had already stopped serving only offer was sausages which wasnt what i wanted for Sunday Lunch. Very disappointed

Decided to take a break from shopping and get some lunch so we ate here. Service is fine if a little slow and it soon became busy which slowed things down even more.Having said that, I have never seen the place packed out. Pretty good range of food and drinks and it is not expensive.

Very nice cafe delivers what you expect, staff very friendly. The shop is attached to the cafe so you can go before or after your shopping trip.

When we visited it was quiet. Lovely atmosphere and quick service. Food was spot on. Very clean and staff was very polite.

After completing our shopping we had lunch at Morrisons in Woking. Themenu was fairly basic but was not expensive, We had Gammon, Egg and Chips which was on special offer.The food itself was very average but it was fantastic value for money.

A good value meal after the shopping, all under the same roof.This cafe offers a good quality limited menu with good value and friendly service along with prompt service.

The major reason to visit here is to takeaway for coffee on the way to the city center.Morrisons provides 3 hours free parking, actually even more time. They serve fish and chips and English breakfast in cheap price.The quality of foods is not the best, but easy to eat in cheap price !

The food isn't bad at all for a supermarket. The portions are good and generally well cooked. Usually have a breakfast before shopping and it keeps me going for a few hours. The prices are reasonable for the portions but there are many other cafes in the area almost as cheap and much better quality. Overall it's hard to complain though.

No frills in this supermarket cafe but clean and pleasant surroundings and a decent cup of tea at very cheap rate and a spot to bring the children or pensioners to eat on a budget in warm and buzzing surroundings.

If you want a cheap coffee and a rather stale doughnut then this is the place for you . The coffee even had extra's - some hair on the mug. Not the place for me.

Seems good value for money and decent enough food... But always slow service and I found a hair in my English breakfast, will not be returning if the hygiene is bad enough to find whole hairs in food

Family of five eat for £15 during term time! Cannot be beaten for value . Children have fun picking items from the counter. We were even given free cakes by the staff at 6.30pm , great fun well done Morrissons

I usually review eating venues and usually, sadly, it's to warn others of bad experiences.How great to be different here!I was not expecting any particular enjoyment from taking two grandkids for a cheapie meal at a supermarket ...But I could not believe the quality, quantity and variety of the Morrison's 'Big Breakfast' I had!At a mere £4.50 (stupid, these days!) the plate was loaded. It's so easy to get a fried breakfast wrong, but here the fried bread and hash browns were dry and crisp. The bacon and sausage was of obvious good quality and the remaining beans, mushrooms, egg etc. were all fine. I paid all of 70p for an extra black pudding, and it was a very thick portion cooked as well as I think I've ever enjoyed.Full marks all round for the great value and quality offered by Morrison's and, I suspect, to the excellent cook at the Woking branch!

I'm not a great fan of Morrison's as a supermarket but we were looking after the grandchildren and they like to eat here. Excellent value.For £9, we had two adult meals (fish & chips and macaroni cheese burger (really!) and chips, with two bottles of water and two children's meals, including drinks. Food was fresh, tasty and hot, friendly staff.Recommended for a family eating-out.

Went then during an afternoon for lunch oh its very busy as we were told that it could take half an hour for our hot food. After ordering the hot food came within 15 minutes it's hot and the price we paid it's reasonable for two people including drinks - about ten pounds. The food was ok nothing special but hot and made to order.

Convenient place for a snack and drinks at good value prices whilst shopping but nothing elaborate. Useful for busy parents with children or a warm spot for those without heating!

Standard cafe, on the side of a supermarket. Excellent breakfasts and good food, service as expected (minimal but good when needed), would recommend for a quick breakfast or a stop before you catch a train into London

Been here quite a few times now. The tea and coffee is good although I could do with soy milk as I have to take my own in a flask for tea. The sandwiches are great value for money as are the main meals. I had porridge once and was a bit disappointed as it wasn't very hot but I should have taken it back. Sometimes the meals do take a bit of time but that is really at busy times. All in all good value for money in pleasant surroundings.

Whilst Morrissons café did have rather a canteen culture but it was very pleasant. There was basic but varied menu the meals were well cooked and it was good value for money, Nice coffee. The staff were efficient but a bit robotic.

We went into Morrissons cafe in Woking for lunch before doing our main shop.You order at the counter and take your food to the table. It was very good value and the food was a lot better than we had expected. One of us had Fish and Chips and the other Lasagna together with a cup of tea for one us and coffee for the other. Service was pleasant and we have lunch here again
