Came here to eat since it was near our hotel, loved every single dish, it was spicy enough for my Asian ass and the portion for each dish was quite sufficient.

The food tastes very good and is really big portion. They are very kind.

The fried noodles were delicious and perfectly dry, the seating was comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly. I will definitely come back again!

Had a takeaway from here this evening first time and last time. Apart from the rice dish everything was cold a d the taste was awful the ribs were not like ribs at all. The duck we ordered was very dry and rock solid. Was not impressed really. And as for price. Well over priced for what we had.

Fabulous little Chinese restaurant with reasonable priced buffet. Visited Saturday tea time and it was super busy by 6.30pm. Service was very slow and pretty disorganised to be honest. There was a table of 4 that left as no one had approached them for an order. Dishes came out at different times and we had to chase up our duck dish constantly after finishing our starters. Our mains were plentiful and delicious but still not served at once and we had to keep waiting for all the dishes.. one dish arrived as we were just finishing up and getting ready to leave so we had to refuse it and return it back to the kitchen. Would be go back again, absolutely… but only if we were not rushed for time

I got them to deliver to my hotel, food was delivered hot which was great but the quality was low considering the high prices. Wonton Soup they charge double than every other Chinese restaurant & it's the same portion - 4 or 5 wontons. The food was disappointing - Garlic Prawns only came with 2 types of onions & no other vegetables. For the price of the meal I expected baby corn, some Chinese greens & mushrooms as that's what you'd get in Hong Kong, not cheap onions! The Prawn Dumplings were great but no dipping sauce. The Duck in Plum Sauce was awful - hard as a rock, totally over-fried & not pleasant to eat. Egg Fried Rice & Jasmine were both fine but pricey for plain Jasmine Rice.

Ordered on Uber with full price because they decided to close on Deliveroo (where there is offers on). Food never arrived, contact CS on uber, said i can cancel order but will charge me full amount. Called the restaurant: they said they dont have drivers tonight but they still accept the order🤷🏻‍♀️ the restaurant is using this platform to steal people money. I would stay away from them, shame that they are the only Chinese restaurant in woking but doing fraud.

Good authentic Chinese cuisine!

Excellent and authentic Chinese food - the best I've tasted since I left Hong Kong many years ago. Ten out of Ten. The food didn't take long to arrive after we'd ordered We started with Sesame Prawn On Toast, followed by Dim Sum - Chasiu Bao, Steamed Prawn Dumplings, Pork Sui Mai, and finally for mains we had Beef with green pepper in black bean sauce and plain boiled rice. Next time we're in Woking, we'll definitely eat there again!

I had lunch here twice this weekend as I stayed overnight in Woking. Friendly atmosphere, the food I had was really good and the price was very reasonable.

The red braised beef noodles in soup is excellent and highly recommended for its great taste. The service is also good and attentive.

This Chinese restaurant offers great value for money, with a diverse menu and decent quality dishes. The service is good, and the environment is comfortable. Some dishes could be a bit more flavorful, but overall, it’s still a solid choice for dining with family and friends.

Service good from waitress as only one of two tables occupied. Satay chicken dry and smothered with awful sauce, spring rolls like cheap cash and carry purchase. Sweet and sour dish unable break with fork as so tough and crispy beef tasted off and couldn't consume. Only consolation was 10% offered for cash before bringing the issue to their notice. Would not return.

I've been there three times, the fried rice and fried noodles they serve are so good, reminds me of food served back home in Hong Kong. The food is not oily, it's difficult to achieve with fried noodles!

The most authentic Chinese food I've had in England so far, outdoes restaurants in China Town, London. The staff are welcoming, and the flavours are spot on. Just ask them what dishes they recommend and you'll be in for a surprise.

Really good food and a nice atmosphere, with a very reasonable price. Authentic Northern Chinese cuisine. We ordered two mains with rice, and a can of coke, the total was just below £20 for lunch. Clean environment, and the chef is friendly. Highly recommend if you like Chinese food!

Top quality authentic Chinese food at such a cheap price, this restaurant really is a hidden gem!

The weight is super enough, and the boss is super enthusiastic! On the way to dinner will also ask the taste, whether it is too salty too spicy, for a Sichuan people is really authentic! The food is very numbing and spicy!

Heavenly Szechuan at Panda! ️ This place is a hidden gem! I went for lunch and tried their Beef with Black Pepper Sauce rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken rice, and Stir-Fried Pork Intestine rice (highly recommend for adventurous eaters!). Every dish blew my expectations away. The flavors were authentic Sichuan style - bold and complex. The lunch deal is fantastic value for money, and the portions are generous. I will absolutely be back every week to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Value for money buffet dinner with choices of a reduced or full menu, priced between 19.99 and 27.99, subjected to an additional 12.5% service charge. A very generous portion of food, although I get half-full by the time I finish my starter. I would personally recommend their stir fry dishes and soup. Very friendly Chinese owner and Nepalese server indeed. Worth a visit again for their lunch deal. :)

It's tasty. I'll give them that. But my goodness it's expensive for incredibly tiny portions.

They have great Chinese drawings and picture this shows a great Chinese atmosphere, the waiters and waitress treat people with respect and treat us politely. The food really taste good, especially the spice ones, the price is really cheap comparing to other restaurants and the volume of the food which makes it worth.

A very high-quality Chinese restaurant. I visit it once a week. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The owner is kind and highly recommended.

Love their food. Bigger portion than other restaurants and the food itself is very authentic Chinese flavour, exactly the same taste as what you can eat in China, but some dishes also localised, so all of us enjoyed! I will highly recommend this restaurant.

Good Chinese food and portions are a good size. My only criticism is the staff need training up as they arrived with a dessert before they cleared the table from several main courses.Its just not done, plates should be cleared as you go and tables not left cluttered. If you have a limited knowledge of Chinese food and want the English version then this is closer to Chinatown and reasonably priced, just don’t complain.

the service was disgraceful, the food was crap. We went at 5.45pm today and it was quiet, there was one table with 3 people. We were give a table. We waited for the MENUS...and then gave us some prawn crackers, no dip.... We had to ask to place an order and then we had to ask for a drink ?? really ??? we ordered seaweed, ribs, prawn toast and duck. The seaweed was okish the ribs tasted of curry, the prawn toast was the only thing edible. The duck....was it duck ?? no crispy skin and it smelt horrible and tasted rank. And then we offered to pay for the starters as we were not going to eat anymore............... they wanted us to pay for the duck. We will never eat here again

Service and the restaurant were really nice at first but the food is so expensive and small size.We ordered a roast duck for like £20 and we only got like 8 little bits of duck and the rest is vegetable!I would not recommend because I think is a scam of money, I would rather go to stains Chinese food court to get the food 10 times better than this overpriced baby sized meal .

4 of us had a lovely lunch at the restaurant, staff were friendly, delicious food, good value for money, definitely will visit there again. The restaurant has improved since the last management 6 to 8 months ago.

It's my first visit after the new owner took over late last year and we stopped by to have a quick lunch. I managed to order something not on the lunch menu and the owner is very accommodating to make it work. Very quiet on a Sunday mid day and service was great.

Me and my daughter ate here last Friday and when we walked in we asked if they catered for a vegan. Their response was yes! Unfortunately when ordering off the vegetarian menu and asking about the fish fragrant aubergine we were told : No fish and no fish sauce! Whilst eating it my daughter discovered some textured pieces like minced meat in it. We then asked what it was and we're told it was chicken. On looking on the menu on line it has minced pork in. Why on earth is it on the vegetarian menu???? I then said I wouldn't pay for it which they then deducted 30% off. No apology from the owner who simply slunk off and left the waitress to deal with it. Absolutely disgusting!! Needless to say we will never go back or recommend it to anyone!

This is an AMAZING RESTAURANT its food is tasty and scrumptious especially the spring rolls!!! But all the food is recommended! :)

I'm Chinese by background. Have eaten here a few times and honestly have to say this is the best Chinese restaurant I've been to outside London. Food is actually authentic. Buffet is an absolute bargain. The amount of food you get for each dish is a lot. The bad reviews on here I suspect are from people who want Chinese takeaway style food. The fact that you can see chinese families eating here is pretty much testament to how good it is. Only downside is that service can be a bit slow when it's busy.

Outstanding place for a big family definitely recommend to all for sure, we came here with total of 16 and the place was very well accommodating, Mrs sandya especially comes to mind who helped us make us feel comfortable since she knew the menu well. Said order would arrive by 9pm - 3 hours after order… The first 2 times we used Panda they were great but the last 2 times they have been worse than awful. I vowed never to use them after the last time… food took hours, terrible service and when it did arrive half of the order was missing. This is the last time!

Service has deteriorated recently. It took 3 hours to deliver. Order was incomplete despite phoning to make sure they had all the items. Will not be returning.

I ordered take away for our Chinese new year eve dinner . The dry wok lotus root, it was horrible , for 14.20 , just deep fried ,super soggy and oiling lotus root, couldn’t even have the second piece. So disappointed. Other dishes were ok . just like normal take away . I have been to this restaurant and did take away for many times , but feel it is not as good as before . I called the restaurant, obviously no one care , no one wants to deal with it . Avoid it , if possible.

They were not. Portions were small and inconsistent in sizes. The food was not authentic Chinese food and was either bland, salty or too sweet. As paying customers, we were repeatedly ignored and had to keep asking for things that had already been asked for. Asked to see the manager and was told the manager was cooking. Asked to see the supervisor in charge and was told there was none. They are severely understaffed and altogether was not an enjoyable experience for my group and I. Save your time and go elsewhere. I personally will not be returning.

The reviews were very varied. I think it must depend on the staff on the day. My friend and I had a terrible experience. The waitress completely confused us with the menu of A, B and C! The crispy duck pancakes were cold and the spare ribs were fatty and cold and arrived at the same as starters. We won’t be going back!

This is a second repeat visit and the food still doesn’t disappoint! We love the shredded cabbage and tried the fish dish (actually pork but was cooked very tender) with one egg fried rice to share. Despite the northern-style chinese menu, the chef could cook the dishes mildly spicy as I can’t take too much of the heat and still maintain the quality of taste! We will no doubt make a repeat visit as the food quality was quite authentic (especially in Woking!) They also have an extensive selection of food. visited: 27 Dec, 2023

Cannot recommend Panda enough, it is my go to place if I want great value and excellent food. I get the all you can eat because every dish I have tried is delicious. The restaurant is very well decorated and the service is perfect for me. Every staff member that i have met has been exceptionally polite and welcoming.

We dove 3/4 hour to check out the food. Very odd experience and the food was extremely bland. The chicken curry was rancid! The only two items we ordered that was basically edible being the satay sauce and the egg fried rice. The spring rolls were bland the spare ribs had a very odd sauce very watery and extremely bland . One tonic water £4.20 and they even gave us a service charge of the same even tho the communication side was diabolical and the food the same. I’d check out the recent reviews they sum up the restaurant nicely. 4/10 and that’s being generous.

Ordered a takeaway from Panda and spent £55 on a midweek meal for two. The food was cold, sparse, tasteless and the portion sizes ridiculously small. All of the dishes seemed to taste the same.

Worst experience in three years Just paid 9pounds for salt and pepper ribs......all I got was about 8grisrly knuckles ....picture was taken after I chucked tendon filled (battered and deep fried?????) To the kerb Knuckle ends of each rib....there were NO actual ribs on this dish . I'm actually off to the golden wok so as to not ruin my Sunday evening. They deep fried the scraps I'd may or not Feed my dog.....who'd eat out of a bin given the chance

The English Chinese doesn't taste good with the price tag like that. Neither the tradition Chinese is a horrendously small portion. The food is stingy in size and we had a very unpleasant experience with the staff being the reasons this restaurant needs to avoid.

Just had one of the lunchtime specials main rice choice of drink well cooked packaged nicely in reusable tubs very handy will use again in kitchen lovely choice only £9.99 I took mine home but option to eat in available I recommend this as a lovely alternative to the sandwich meal deal it is available 12 till 2 if you're in Woking give it a try you won't regret it plus I forgot to mention first class service thankyou panda restaurant.

We ordered two dishes of Kung Po but allergic to nuts. However they only cooked one dish without nuts and the other one nearly killed my wife. What I felt shocking was all three waitress did not understand English properly and had no knowledge of allergen at all. And they charged me for their service. What a joke

The service is totally failed: There were only 1 table apart from us. We took less than 2 mins to decide our dishes after sitting down. But the two/three waiting staff came to us in another 10 mins asking us what to order although we eyed them gently. The person who served us did not quite understand their own menu. We repeated every dish for 4-5 times for her to write down correctly. And then we waited another 5 mins for this staff to record everything in their computer before the order was sent to the kitchen. My appetite has gone! Food is below average and tiny in portion: Ok, maybe I am a bit personal because I think every normal high street restaurant is not a fine dining that sacrifices the portion by decoration. But come on, the salt pepper squid only had 5 small pieces inside. What?? The fried food has very chewy side maybe because it is not freshly made?? We also ordered a spicy chicken which tasted like wooden chips and there were less than 10 slices in the whole dish costing 20 quid. After all, they put a compulsory 10% service charge. Me friends thought there was no need to argue because she didn't want to ruin the night anymore so we paid and told every one we knew never come here again!!

We went to this place because of friend's birthday. It turned out to be a complete mistake. There was a plastic chip in our grill fish and the waitress was not apologetic at all. The waitress does not speak good English nor Chinese. We don't know how to communicate. The taste of food is not authentic also, very oily but bland. The final bill is averaged over 30 pounds per person but we are not really full. Avoid!!!

They are providing little portion but charge high price - not value for money.

I am not sure whether chef is in sleep. Dishes have very little portion - two Chinese people order four dishes but not full at all. Try to avoid this mean restaurant.

A bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it was a traditional Chinese restaurant which was great to see. None of the westernised dishes, and tried to stay close to their heritage. Really pleasing to see. We opted for the weekday buffet which was a good choice at £20pp. The service was lukewarm. Nothing against it, but it wasn't very friendly or accommodating. Some of our choices were good, but some were pretty awful, like the slivers of potato with chilli. Some of the dishes didn't really suit our tastes, but I'm sure if we ordered the right things, it would be great. That's what was missing for us, decent recommendations for new people not used to traditional Chinese cuisine. I'd give it another go. No parking nearby so it's a long walk from the town centre multistory, or local on street parking

Second time been here and have to say won’t go there again. The staff are very rude and looked at me like I was an idiot when asking for schezun prawn even though it is a typical Chinese dish and didn’t even have it on...

We ordered spicy chicken Wings and a King Prawn Noodles The one that come out as chicken is wild deep fried Bones and the Noodles with O had to choose 4 toppings apparently has no KING PRAWNS what so ever and the Bill itself is...
