The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Stopped at Retallack resort and this is the closest takeaway to the place so we decided to eat from there. If you’re picking up, be warned that there’s not a huge amount of parking!! To be fair to them, that prepared a dish for my wife that they don’t normally do which was excellent and all the other dishes that we ordered were very good and tasty. The staff are very friendly and the food is very fresh and cooked in front of you and done quickly so no complaints about waiting around. Overall, if you’re looking for a great Chinese meal in the north Cornwall area, then this is the place to go.

夜晚到达巴斯，可选餐馆不多，看见中国餐馆就进去了，里面基本没有客人。老板娘倒是挺热情。我们点了三个菜，韭菜鱿鱼，姜葱大虾，干煸四季豆，一盘水饺。味道还可以，菜的份量太少太少了，姜葱大虾只有四只虾，韭菜鱿鱼就只有一丢丢鱿鱼，韭菜吃几口就没了。就这些菜量一共64.9磅。实在太抢钱了。

My main comment is - don't judge a book by it's cover as the appearance of the Golden Pond is a little run down but I cannot speak more highly of the food which is the best Chinese I've had for a very long time ( I'm 68) and probably the best I've ever had - As far a I could tell all freshly prepared - one word for it - Delicious 😋😋😋.

Excellent food in lovely surroundings. We’ve been here before and it was nice but they’ve really stepped up now. Exceptional value too.

Always good food here and never have to wait too long, cash only which I fully support. Seems very clean and the staff are great.

Yet another once fine chippy that has gone down the pan not as bad as the Dolphin but not far off. When are these business owners going to realise that the vast majority of the general public would happily pay that bit extra for their meal if the business were to improve the quality of their produce, it's not rocket science.

Aparecimos justo después de las 2 pm no estaba lleno, pero luego dejan de servir comida a las 3:00 pm y empezar de nuevo en 5. 30:00 h.

I don't understand the other reviews here. I've been here twice and planning more trips at the moment, although at the time of writing this it is temporarily closed (not sure why). I've been there with my parents and my boyfriend on different occasions and the service was lovely. Food tasted amazing, everything was clean and the plates were warmed. We also enjoyed some of the chocolate fountain. The price is completely reasonable.

Used this takeaway twice this month (January 2025). Food excellent. Prices reasonable. Fairly quick delivery. Would recommend.

Nunca he probado platos chinos tan horribles. Hicimos un gran pedido y lo único que alguien podía soportar eran las patatas fritas. Todo lo demás era acuoso o insípido. Muchos de los platos estaban llenos de este tipo de basura de gelatina en la que flotaban pequeños trozos de comida gomosa. Bastante repulsivo. Honestamente, nunca había comido comida tan mala como esta de ningún lado antes. Es asombrosamente malo.

Had a couple of deliveries now and food is so nice, good flavours and portions at a reasonable price. We really missed Linwah so pleased this is now our go to for Chinese

No taste very very disappointed. We had 10 different dishes. Very little meat in dishes but lots of onion's. Will try somewhere eles next time

Went into here not expecting major food but had no queues. We ordered food and drinks and everything arrived really quickly and so fresh and hot. The curry was the best curry I have had in a long time, even the egg fried rice was so good. Reasonable drink prices too. Will definitely go back.

We were given the wrong order, 2 items we didn't request, we had half a carton of rice we paid for a full. The bill came to 55.00 , as a result of the wrong order and you being very busy we ended up buying chips from the local chip shop.

Empty restaurant. Overpriced. Awful food. Soup was Awful. Ribs were cold. Mains were standard. Prawns smelt of piss. Never again. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
