Not the best Chinese..wings and ribs not fresh tastes of rubber ..spring roll terrible really greasy chip shop batter.plus abit pricey..

Food is awful, don’t even bother

Good food, clean and friendly takeaway, definitely one of if not the best Chinese.

I tell you what pal, I love a top chef and this is the best Chinese in Derby! Absolutely banging pal, I always go with the egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls it's just an absolute delightful dish. You get 10 battered chicken balls in a bag, a tub of egg fried rice and for being such a good boy they throw a free bag of prawn crackers in and all this for £10.50 an absolute steal in this day and age and believe me pal the portions are big you can easily feed 2 people with this order. The shop gets busy and if I were you pal I'd phone ahead and place your order before going to collect. And please 🙏 just don't forgot your money, this Chinese is cash only and God we all love abit of cash because we all know that it will always be king 🤴

We just had a Special Chow Mein and I can honestly say, it was awful, the pork was recognisable, there was another meat in it I think it was supposed to be chicken which tasted terrible, nothing like chicken, never again. The chow Mein was stodgy and tasteless 😣

The prices they charge for a ‘cash only’ takeaway are ridiculous 16£ for chicken fried rice salt pepper chips and curry and o.k sauce

Black bean sauce and satay sauce no taste watery and a bit Slimy, curry sauce ok

The food is substandard. Twice I've eaten from there and been ill. My advice stay away from any kind of sasuage. The chips are OK and the chow mein and lunch boxes they do. But only go here as a last resort IMO

We picked order up order got home dish missing phoned up got called liars by despicable vile Chinese women on phone who could barely speak English never use again food was also vile greasy salty ribs where fatty no meat on them half order went in bin chips where nice though

Cash is king great value for money

Worst chips I ever seen and half portion of bbq ribs,don’t know how they dare serve them. waited 1 1/2 hours for delivery

Very tasty and fresh food. Their salt and pepper dishes are must try. The chicken chow mein was brilliant. The guy at counter was very polite and honest with the offerings, suggested me cheaper and better alternatives which helped me reduce excess. He also offered to customise the menu, all in all a great place if you looking for a nice Chinese takeaway. Accepts only cash. Will definitely buy again when I visit York again.

Great place to eat as it is right next door to Fanny's pub. Lovely Food and always hot and tasty!

Just got home after spending 10hrs in A&E diagnosed with food poisoning after eating food from there on Friday!! Think we will be giving environmental health a call!! Disgusting food won’t ever eat from there again!!!
