If you want an absolute gorgeous Chinese, this is the place to go i’ve ordered here for the last 20 years and there’s nothing better, the egg fried rice is to die for and the chicken balls are just heavenly if you’re craving a Chineses i would HIGHLY recommend this one of a kind Chinese takeaway. The workers are always so nice and you can just tell that the food is so fresh and cooked with passion. Keep up the good work

Ordered Szechuan sauce but was like dyed red sweet and sour sauce hardly any fresh vegetables and food/delivery was relatively expensive. Makes me remember I don’t like chinese food but after I disovered a good one near my house I reconsidered- too bad it was closed. This place is bad value for money.

Ordered dish in Szechuan sauce and it was completely different from the place I usually order which wouldn’t be a problem if it had been good but it was more like your typical sweet and sour sauce with lots of red dye. The vegetable was mostly from can, not fresh/variety. I really dislike sweet and sour so what a disappointment…

Usually love this place but just ordered bank holiday Easter Monday and the chips were so dry even the salt and pepper chips were dry hoping not yesterday's 🤔 otherwise a 5 🌟

Been a customer since the days on Buchanan before they moved to margetson, they used to make lovely chips but last twice rank hard burnt and dry and chow mein bland fast losing faith but suppose nothing lasts forever.

Really nice meals from here,we had a delivery last night,(first for quite a while) and we're disappointed that they now use oven chips,bring back the greasey fried chips please

Customer service is disgusting first time I have ever ordered from here noodles tasted like they have been stored in a cardboard box the rice was sour and the crispy sweet chilli beef didn’t even have beef in was basically ground up dog biscuits not even in sweet chilli sauce more like in a sweet and sour. Rang back up to complain and the owner and English woman that works there was giving abuse down the phone and not even listening. Will never put money in that shop ever again. Absolutely disgusting food and the people that work there are just as bad.

We ordered from here all the time & never have any issues until tonight. I called up because we had been waiting over an hour, I was told another 25 minutes. So then the food came, the salt and pepper box wasn’t hot & chips were half cooked. The box wasn’t even full it was just piled on top of the sauce pot, which usually, it’s all around it. There was no meat on the majority of the ribs, the banana fritters were mush drowning in syrup. Then when my partner called to complain, we were advised to go through Uber eats. Then the place called back to yell at him.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight, was ready in 20 mins to collect! Very quick. Was still nice and hot. Chips were lovely, not greasy at all, crispy shredded beef and chicken was super yummy! Really enjoyed it and great prices. Thank you! X

Very small portions for price lady on phone very rude when phoning back to say all the order hasn't arrived to be told don't come back and the food not very nice never again will I order from here again

Was my favourite place, told us 1.5hrs wait, fair enough for a busy Saturday, 1hr 45 later, food cold, chips nasty no crackers, so will be along time ordering again

It is what it is, easy order over the phone 20 minutes maximum waiting time collect food.. never waited long and food has always been good

Ho dear just order and what a disappointment food was Terrible very greasy and way to much salt and the reason coz its busy will not be going back o and the salt and pepper chips cold and the crispy Yong tons more like think batter in grease and over cooked

Well just ordered beef in black pepper sauce but couldn't taste the pepper and vegetable noodles but no vegetables and it took 55 minutes to go less that half a mile and only 7 pieces of small portions of beef

When the Buchanan Road shop closed, I thought it was lost forever. My joy and excitement at finding it again was second only to the anticipation of the meal I was ordering. The word "disappointment" cannot sufficiently describe my feelings, but i'm unable to find a better one. Since being bought out from the people that ran the Buchanan Shops premises, the entire menu has dropped in quality. Whether they've changed the supplier or something else, I don't know, but from now on, it won't even be a consideration when someone says "I want a Chinese".

No estoy seguro de por qué todos los 1 * comentarios. Nunca tuve realmente un problema al ordenar desde aquí. La comida siempre es abundante. Uno tardó un poco más de lo normal en entregar, pero normalmente siempre está aquí en un tiempo razonable y la comida aún está caliente.

A fabulous clean takeaway, great selection of food, always fast, hot & tasty, The staff are lovely, you can collect or have your food delivered. Only downfall is for some reason their pancake rolls have become over greasy & soggy. By the time i have got it home it is an explosion in a bag 🙁 I still give 5 stars as the service & food do deserve it.

Do a good chicken fried rice chips cost prob about same even where els.

My favourite take away.. fantastic fast service. They always give you latest time they can deliver. But in my opinion always quick. Lovely food, I will always buy my Chinese from there love it. Would have given it 10 stars

I have been going to Golden palace for years and found it to be clean with food cooked as you wait and always found the food excellent.

Dirty and small portions. Shop was covered in thick dirt so I dread to think what the kitchen was like

Just to let every one know they have rats i was waiting for food and saw a rat run across the kitchen i went round the back and there was like 4 of them on the back will not be ordering from them ever again enviromental health needs to be going in and having a look

This takeaway is dirty and has rats. so be aware and they don't wash hands after taking money of customers or touching thier hair aswell and they treat their drivers like dirt and drivers dont get any drinks have to be paid for. Owners buy food cheap from asda and charge customers double the price and over charge custumers on just eat deliveries of £2.00 for 1st 3miles plus just eat charge 50p service charge

Was given original time of 20:40 for it to be changed to 21:10 after ringing twice to be told it was coming in the next 5 mins and then to be told it was still at shop waiting for a driver to come back and then deliver it, it eventually came at 21:40 and it was luke warm.

after having to spend £15 to order then £3 for delivery when we’re 2 min down the road to which states free crackers over £13 so I didn’t order any and none turned up disappointed with that

Food was delivered on time & was ok & tasted fine but was packed with cheaper ingredients! I had a pancake roll which was packed full of beansprouts but very little else. Same with the chicken chow mein, loads & loads of noodles but not much chicken! The house special in black bean sauce fared a little better meat wise but that too was packed with green peppers! The £3.00 delivery charge was a bit steep too considering we are only a mile & a half away.

Quick, hot, tasty food. Would recommend the deep fried pork Cantonese style. Also threw in some free mini veggie spring rolls! Defintely be our new chinese delivery after moving to the area.

¡Qué horrible para llevar! ¡No hay amor en esta comida! Bland no tiene sabor alguno. Si tuvieras que probar la salsa de curry con los ojos vendados, ¡pensarías que era salsa salada! ! También teníamos un plato de pollo crujiente que estaba mojado en una salsa roja brillante que solo puede describirse como goo. . todo fue en el contenedor. . el mejor lugar para eso!

Not bad food at all but I won't be ordering from there again as we spent over £20 got no free prawn crackers or anything as shown on the menu and live just up the Rd and still got charged £3 delivery which I think is outrageous. Good if you pick up yourself but don't get it delivered. They lost a valuable customer

Pro's: food hot. Con's: no prawns, duck in special curry, curry sauce watery, bean curd deep fried inedible, chips aneamic, noodles no taste. Room for improvement.

Only complaint is I ordered a dry chow mein and received a wet one, I Didn't enjoy it. all other food was good.

Spent £21.50 and no free prawn crackers. Think its disgusting £3 delivery charge. 1.5 miles away. Most take aways dont charge delivery if you spend certain amount. Prob wont use it again. And i know my family wont. Cause they got wrong delivery this week

Fryer oil appears to need changing badly. Food ok. Not fabulous.

Arrived 40 mins before the estimated time and was fresh and hot. The portions were a generous size. My only criticism is that their chips need cooking better as they are pale and soggy.

Duck tasted like microwave meal, chips were cold and hard, curry and rice were both nice. Oh the free spring rolls were nice too! But won't be going back there again

A few small bones in the shredded duck but apart from that the food was really very good. The house special rice is rather expensive I think but again very tasty.

It took 2 and a half hours to deliver and then had peas in rice which I asked for none. It was so late my son fell asleep before it came. Shocking service and food not much better.
