Jimmy Spice's in Birmingham

The food was OK, I was a little disappointed by the choice and quality of some of the dishes on offer. Pretty much run of the mill offerings that did not warrant the £25.99 charge plus the additional service charge at the end. Restaurant was nice enough, although our table had food waste on the floor, used napkin on the table, and a lack of fresh cutlery. It was early evening, virtually empty when we arrived, there was no excuse for this poor presentation. I enjoyed what we ate and drank, but there was nothing new and exciting on offer. If you have not been before, it is not too easy to find if you follow Google. It is above weatherspoons.

We had an amazing experience at Jimmy’s spices. The staffs were absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. I would like to thank Atiya for her exceptional service throughout the time. Very basic cuisine, nothing great and the love counter chefs are not welcoming. And it’s just a buffet service and nothing close to “world cuisine”, based on my past experiences in restaurants offering world cuisine was expecting better, here there were hardly 2 or 3 cuisines. Food was just okay and the service very poor especially the chefs/cooks behind the counter.

I had amazing night here😍 thanks in large part to our server, Kimia. The buffet itself was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that catered to every palate. From the delicious mains to the indulgent dessert spread, everything was top-notch.

Food was nice i can say it was delicious but one staff was almost rude poor customer service from that person a lady i should have mentioned her name. It will be better if she has nice attitude the rest was nice. she was behaving like we are eating on her money very very rude. So disappointed with her service. The place is small and needs updating! Barely any choices of main course. Desert was tasteless. Toilet very tight and broken soap dispensers. Altogether will be not returning.

I'm enjoying a visit to Birmingham and this is my second time at this restaurant (the last time was in 2022). The range of dishes on offer is incredible including many of my favourites from India and the Subcontinent including naan made for you while you watch and wait, within the space of about a minute. Given this is an all you can eat venue with a range of sweet and savoury dishes from several cousines, and all frequently replenished, there's nothing I could possibly fault here. The staff were all efficient and friendly including Dhano, who was very helpful to me, my wife (also leaving a review) and daughter.

Loved my experience here! The buffet was packed with fresh, delicious options.Kimia made it even better. she was so warm, attentive. Her genuine friendliness added a special touch that made us feel right at home. Perfect spot for a relaxed meal with amazing service. Can’t wait to go back!

More range of food would have been lit for me 😀but the available range is spot on, finger licking spot on I mean🤭, great service👌🏾 and lovely ambience🤩

I had a great time at this restaurant's buffet! Everything was expertly prepared, and the meal choices was tasty and varied. The service was what really elevated the experience. Kimia, our server, was really kind and considerate; she constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

As always my experience was phenomenal! Love the vibe and food. I would love to point out two outstanding waiters: Mr. Jalal and Ms. Atiya. She always has a beautiful smile and joy. I hope the management holds on to these fine people. My wife and I had a blast. Keep it up!

Love their buffet. Very reasonable and food is amazing too. They have a wild bean cafe and think it’s the only cafe serving coffee until 9-10 PM, very reasonably priced and tastes good too.

Good! Paid for 11 people approx 252£ in total here! Food was ok not what I remember noodles a were bland and variety was ok. I would say some of the local buffets in Birmingham are probably was more tastier with much more Variety and example would be Ziryabs in Alum rock. Drinks are seperate and not included in the price - water will come but 20 mins later so you’re encouraged to buy a drink!

I am from Mumbai, Maharashtra and I came to Birmingham to drop my son. I was in search for Indian food and I heard about Jimmy spices from one of the staff who is a friend of my nephew (Mardav). As soon as I entered the space I was in Awe with the ambiance and the aroma of the place. I would specifically highlight the best thing about the food which was the Chutney served beside the Dimsum counter. It was the icing on the cake. The service and hospitality was also fantastic and I would like to mention Atiya, Mardav, Neeraj, Dhanesh and Atharva for their exceptional service. Great food but they wait for you to sit and start eating to tell you that they will charge adult prices for your 8 and 10 year old. In what world is an 8 and 10 year an adult apart from when you are being underhand? Instead of being sneaky just be clear in your pricing strategy and update your sign that you have on entrance.
