Best Chinese in Erdington. Tempted to knock a star off for not being open on Tuesdays, forcing me to order from somewhere of considerably lower standard. Seriously, best in Erdington.

Used to be amazing. Luke warm food. Chips like cardboard. Seemed like it was the previous days food served. And the portion containers are even smaller now, even the bags of prawn crackers! Sad to say will avoid.

Best chinese food ever. Never had a bad meal here and they always cater to my dietary requirements. The owners are so polite and jolly. Food is always cooked with fresh ingredients. Every time we eat from here it really does make us happy.

Lovely tasting chinese, and you can tell it's with real good fresh ingredients. When I've had Chinese at other places they usually are greasy and I always feel terrible after but not with Happy Garden.

Great food from this place but shame they've increased the minimum for delivery, won't be ordering any more 😔

Delivered early and piping hot. Chicken balls were lovely and tender (the sweet and sour sauce was a bit vinegary though), the Thai curry lovely and hot. Had a special request for the restaurant which they listened to. Overall impressed and will try again.

absolutely vile! crispy shredded beef was like a jelly, hardly any sauce even though had stated extra sauce, chips were hard and over cooked and the curry sauce came freezing cold with a layer of stuff on top like a jelly, would not recommend portions tiny, when called up the person over the phone didn't wanna come get order or send fresh food out, would not recommend absolutely disgusting and a waste of money!

I've lived in the area for over a year now and tired cointlsss disgusting Chinese takeaways so I was skeptical. I had the Kung po beef and egg fried rice, when I got it it wasn't what I was expecting but it was amazing! Delivered hot and it was actually delicious with not too much oil

this is the best Chinese I have ever been to. I'm a massive fan of plain noodles with beanaprouts so it's all I ever tend to order: these win the noodles of noodles !! they also do lovely salt and pepper ribs as they're really well done, dry and actually chopped into small pieces and can even be off the bone. I don't even like ribs !!!

Approx del 45-60 mins. Called after 70 mins told was busy but they'd 'rush' food through and would be here in 10 mins after another 30 mins wait called again for the phone to be answered with "you food is on its way" snapped at me, not even a hello. 1 hr and 50 minute wait for mediocre food, to be snapped at and awful customer service this place isn't worth it. If you can't keep your delivery times do not advertise them and if you are going to run late just call customers so they know what's going on.

Asked for no sauce on chicken satay it came smothered in sauce and was so so dry! Onions on beef curry way undercooked tasted horrible! Just wish people would listen to requirements

I ordered the Chicken In Black Bean Sauce which is really nice . I also ordered Szechuan Chicken , I have to say it was a bit of a disappointment , not much flavour and just too oily !

After reading the reviews and choosing this place based on rating I'm really disappointed. I ordered a Beef Satay, the Peking Style Ribs and Fried Rice. The Beef Satay could have been very nice, it was packed with nice vegetables and was nicely spiced, but it was so oily that it had at least .5cm of oil on top of it, it was quite disgusting even after I drained the oil. The ribs were okay, nowhere near the best I've had but they were acceptable. The rice was pretty perfect, except I had ordered a large and they delivered me a regular size portion. They gave me a bag of Prawn Crackers for 'free' (with £2.20 delivery fee it's almost like I paid for them!), they were a bit stale, oily and tasteless though. They quoted me an hour for delivery and it came much earlier, after around 30 minutes. I've been looking for a new Chinese place as my regular has recently been pretty awful as of late... Happy Garden hasn't been much better.

The meal which we ordered was hot we did not have to reheat , good quality and quantity of meat etc.
